Maybe they will just put some Black Falcon or Lions' Knight minifigure. Maybe some generic soldier ? Maybe no more minifigure than Majisto himself. I think it will be one of the two last options sadly.

Well I hope not. I want a remake of a Black Knight or a Dragon Master soldier with the Majisto GWP. Time will tell.

Given the approach taken with the recent Forestmen and Blacktron promos, I think a reboot of Dragon Masters via a GWP is actually a real possibility. My only concern is that the printing on the figure might be too simple (e.g. torso only). We shall see.

if instead LEGO decides to use one of the existing rebooted factions, I expect it would be the Lion Knights.

Unless they put a dragon knight (or at least the parts for the helmet) in a set that comes soon, I do not think the GWP have budget for more than a print or two at best. The Castle probably used the its budget for both the shield and torso for the forestmen in the GWP.

It wasn't even a rumor. People were just saying they'd like to see it and it's possible with the current selection of parts. That's all.

Well if that generally reliable youtuber is correct, TLG is bringing back the blacktron gwp in July so nothing castle or pirate on the horizon.

I’m conflicted on waiting until July 11th to purchase El Dorado.  I mean at this rate the Blacktron promotion is only running from July 11th to the 15th 😭😭

One of the mods of legoleak says that a castle GWP will likely be in August. I can wait for EF until then.

Nope, Blacktron and Nexo Knight combo GWP, nothing else in the pipe bar a vague rumour of a "castle-related gwp" in August which may or may not be Majisto's. Galileo tribute is expected in Q4. Good things to come for those who will wait.

My thoughts on this set :

-If you don't like the black docks, buy brown parts, this is a direct-to-consumer set, if there's no nearby Lego store, then you can only order online, and Bricks and pieces is therefore available to you, same with the female heads. 

-The design seems a bit too faithful to the original (though I'd have liked if they used as much yellow as the original)

-The printing looks sharp, and I like the "weak" white, seems fitting since these soldiers aren't supposed to wash their uniforms every day (so having it be very white would be weird), only wish they had leg printing like for 10305...

-Overall, a good set at an OK price (don't forget what inflation does to prices, especially when gas, and therefore plastic, go way up)

Taking a trip to the store on July 4th to see the set in the bricks. I bet it will be in closed form to minimise display space such that it might be hard to see and appreciate all the details. On a video I saw it next to the Hocus Pocus set and they looked somewhat comparable volume-wise.

I wanted to be there Tuesday day 1 for this set but I missed out on the Blacktron set and i am conflicted on really what to do, do i wait until the following week or what? Will this set fly out of the shelves and be backordered the moment it goes live, I have no idea what to do, but as usual lego likes to release GWP in the middle of the freaking month for who knows what reason and it sucks.

Lion Knight's Castle did not sell out, they were good about limiting it to one copy per customer at first.  And, what's the worse case scenario here?  You don't buy right away and have to wait a couple more weeks for it to come back in stock?  If you buy immediately, you pay full price and get no Blacktron GWP?  I'm waiting for sure.

That price tag helped out a lot as well, people didn't like the 399.99 at first, lego is unpredictable either way because GWP can sell out super-fast.  I mean, to be honest I have heard you can purchase random sets, return them and just pay for the price of the GWP but we shall see.

 

The Disney 100 GWP sold out from shop lego already...

You can, but 1) it makes you a bad person and 2) I've heard that Lego tracks this, and if you do it more than once they will refuse your return.

Ok, now you're getting (as usual) needlessly aggressive- I never said it would be weird for me to get a high quality product, I merely said that I like the quality of the existing product. But I'm just saying that they maybe, just maybe, might have possibly theoretically under certain probably plausible circumstances chosen to make the prints like that, but what do I know...
