Siegfried Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 Hinckley was interviewed recently by LAMLradio, the LEGO Talk Podcast. He talks about; -A little about Hinckley -How/why was Eurobricks started? -What can people find there now? -Has LEGO ever contacted the site about leaked images? -What is in the future for EuroBricks? You can find the podcast (gee I hate that name ) here! Quote
Admiral Blockbeard Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 Wow, thanks for this! I love how he mentioned Pirates! Great interview, well done Hinckley! Castle MOC humor is great! Well handled, with those hard to answer questions So, Classic Town, good work... Regards Cpt. PB Quote

Dragonator Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 You know, I've never listened to one of these, so it was a fun experience for me. Perhaps I'll listen to a few more some time. Anyway, it was a nice talk, good to hear some of the up-coming things such as this Classic-Town! I'm looking forward to that! I just wish I had the space to set up an awesome town layout... Ah Hinckley, even in a serious radio interview, we still see some of your classic charm pulling through. Very well done indeed! Quote
CopMike Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 Well done Hinckley ! Some ruff & tuff questions there but you pulled through while at the same time promoting us well ! Now we need to have our 15 minutes of fame on world wide television also, maybe as a commercial break during the Olympics ? CopMike Quote
WhiteFang Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 This is the first time, I had heard such interview from LAMLradio! It's give me a very interesting insight. Excellent job, Hinckley! You had certainly promoted much a lot on Eurobricks and shared with others on how EB really is. Well done! Quote
SirNadroj Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 Glad to hear the interview went well. I'll listen to it asap! Quote

Shadows Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 This had all the major elements I was looking for, a job well done! Three cheers for Hinckley. Gimme an EM! Gimme an OH! Gimme a CEE! What does it spell? MOC! MOC! MOC! Yes, I'm mocking him spelling out MOC, as opposed to just saying it as a word. I know this issue could divide the membership with the spellers vs the sayers, so we won't discuss it any further. Quote

Shadows Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Oh please...I started a poll on this ages ago... You've always been a troublemaker, it seems. Looks like I voted in it too, but you can't honestly expect me to remember every single poll you've been involved with. Oh, how much better that works when said out loud. MOCK and A-F-O-L. A-FALL is just a weird concept to me, and I find it amazing that so many people use it. Quote

Svelte Posted July 23, 2008 Posted July 23, 2008 I thought the LAML radio guy was using the received 'Scarlett O'Hara' pronunciation. As in, 'Frank-LEH Hinck-LEH, I don't give a Fabuland!' Quote
