durazno33 Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 I've been a fan of the Lego pirates themes since I was a kid and am thrilled to see the theme get these awesome sets over the last few years. My local AFOL club just did a pirate themed display for a large convention in June and so Pirates is fresh on the mind. I'm looking forward to see what people build!

I've been collecting and enjoying bricks since early childhood and I have a small portion of everything I've attained personally as well as some hand-me-downs from my older brothers and my father, dating back to pieces and minifigures from the late 1970's. I enjoy building, designing, and community involvement through Lego User Groups and beyond! :)

I'm not really comfortable judging the works of other, better builders but I was once told I have a very critical personality...by a narcissist... To that effect, if something falls through for some reason and you need a 10th for this, lemme know. I'll try to get something modest entered, myself.

Part of my 'daytime' job is to help kids learn to build better MOCs and provide feedback and encouragement. When I saw there was a pirate contest with the opportunity to give fellow builders feedback, I knew I had to give it a try!
