[ENTRY] 6260/6257 Pirates - Shipwreck Island/ Castaway's Raft Remake

The island shape change is phenomenal.

 This is my favourite entry by a good distance.

That's quite an improvement with the shape of the island, well done! Definitely reminds me more of the original! But I still think you could extend the water, e.g. to the right of the island (the right of the palm tree) and place the raft there!

one is Slope 33 3 x 3 Double Concave (99301) - unfortunately doesn't exist in tan colour - I love how it looks in this island setting.

the smooth slope is Slope, Curved 3 x 3 Corner (76797)

The shape is better now; a lot more interesting than it was.  If you're experimenting with different designs, why not try a plate-built design with dark tan on the bottom (for wet sand)?  I know it's very "Ray the Castaway", but the rest of your build is different, and two plates of height would fit the scale of the island quite nicely, and allow much greater detail.

Glad you like the fire, as far as a plate-design I want to keep this more in line with PoBB, so it looks part of a theme and not a Ray the Castaway rebuild or a MOC.

Happy the new shape is better to you all, as far as the green on the island I feel it may be a bit too much? I could try making it more condensed? What do you all think?

I don't mind the abundance of green in the last picture, as it is even more reminiscent of the original island. However, because of the different technique used to build the island, it does not seem repetitive. Therefore, the last one is definitely my favourite.

So keep the green? Should I change the shape a bit tho or keep it like it is?

I'd add a bit more grass or leaves on the green part and keep the shape as it is in the last picture, but that's just me.

I do prefer it with the green plates! I'd also say, skip the tan plates in front of the cannon and connect the two greens instead.

Also I'm contemplating removing the pirate flag on the raft since there's one on the island already, it does make the raft look more accurate to the original as well.

The Island looks very good! As of the raft, I would leave the flag, as there was still one in the original set, just on the pirate's musket. ;)

Looks great! I also like that you decided to take the Pirates flag off the raft and put it on the rifle - looks awesome

I'd remove a pirate-one of the stripped men, they look really similar to one another, and needlessly add to the figure count. What do you think @_R_R_?

It's too late for that now but I always planned on having them both in this entry since they are present in both sets I remade.

A very solid entry, the raft looks perfect and I love the giant shark. On the island, it just looks perfect! My only suggestions are to add a bit more... IDK really the remake looks awesome! Anyway, Happy building :)
