Alright, so here's my latest and greatest MOC ever! I put so much time and effort into this Pirate Inn, It's sure to win it all and everything!!!!1!

Harry Hardtack, Jolly Jack Crow, and Drake Dagger are bushed from all their pillaging and plundering! What better place to relax than at Tina's Pirate Inn?

Harry Hardtack is ready to load the shipment of rum at the docks!

Visit the inside of the Tina's Inn!

Uh oh! Looks like Drake Dagger has riled up Tina! She looks angry as a orca! Maybe they will make up their difference later in that comfy looking bed?

Jolly Jack Crow is using both his hands to their best ability! too bad he doesn't have two mouths for all that rum!

Looks like Harry Hardtack is saving some treasure for later!

Is this the greatest and bestest MOC I ever builded?

Good job on emulating the style of 4+ Pirates!

Unfortunately this has a very big chance in comparison to most mocs to be made official bij TLG :iamded_lol:

It was actually harder than anticipated, mostly due to my lack of 4+ prefab parts.

This is the bestest build ever, with a LADDER (I LOVE LADDERS!!!), many figs, a lot of space, some animal molds, now I would just add some dark red masonry bricks, dark tan plates under the beach and some foliage and this would be perfect!!!

This was rather accurate and, while it does have too many plates at the bottom for a 4+ build, it's quite believable.

Excellent job nailing the 4+ pirates style.  The Fabuland chairs and roof work surprisingly well and feel right at home despite the 15+ year difference in parts design.  This really does look like one of the official sets: I hate all the same things about it that I hate about them: the minifigures, the thick baseplates and the simple building techniques.  Really nice work!:pir-huzzah2:

The Fabuland chairs were actually used in the 4+ Spiderman sets, so it's actually perfectly in the time frame. and The Fabuland roof parts I believe were used in the Mickey Mouse sets from a few years prior, so roughly the same time era. When you think about it, Fabuland was quite <insert that tiresome argument> itself, just done better than later themes.

Then I did exactly what I set out to do!

One thing I'd consider for this is trying to make the whole structure less chaotic ; maybe move that barrier at the top away from the ladder, since it's just blocking the pirates' approach to the upper level

While I may not like the 4+ pirates, I really like your entry, the overall appearance looks great and so does the story that you have presented along with it. However I do have some suggestions, first there could be more trees and other animals, second, the mast with the pirate flag looks a little out of place (maybe you could add the skeleton of an abandoned ship for the mast?). The inn looks great with the skull and so does the dock. Happy building :)

I know your written description featured some sarcasm about being a good build, but I gotta say you've actually done a great job representing a 4+ Pirates theme. I love the humor in your write up and I can tell you had fun posing those figs. Having Harry Hardtack continue his 2004 battle with Monkey is such a great nod to classic set 7081!

I feel like you did a great job emulating the style -- the 4+ sets used those thick 16x16 technic baseplates, too. The skull on the building was a great nod to set 7074, too.

My only suggestion... where's the crocodile?? :) Curious minds (and the minifigure named "Scurvy Dog") need to know! Thanks for bringing a smile to my day. :)

Thank you! It was actually harder than I thought trying to build something so simple, yet cohesive. And I did have a lot of fun building this and posing the figs.

Hmm, I guess the budget ran out for the crocodile...

It does look a little out of place, but two of the 4 Junior pirate sets did the same, though one has a crane, the other a sail. But neither really had any other shipwreck parts. I simply see it as a pole with a lookout on top.

Hey, someone has to build 4+ sets haha, this is beautiful

Is this a genuine entry or are you just having some fun?

The rules did state 4+ maxi figures (along with Fabuland, Duplo, Friends figures) were not permitted.

This was purely just for fun.

Not sure if we should leave comments in here, i don't want Mods to scream at me that i waste their time by continuing discusion in an entry that breaks the rules, but i must admit i kinda like that ;) The thing that screams to me that it should be changed is that giant flag on the boat, other than that, it's quite intruging, very simple, but it's got some value. It those characters could be changed to proper minifigs and if You could change that cannon into a proper lego gun, i guess You could try reentering it into the contest and with few upgrades here and there in the set, it could be popular with the reviewers. It is quite popular now, so Yoiu better not waste such opportunity, there's still time ;)
