Posted July 14, 200816 yr Recently aquired myself the Millenium Falcon... far out is HUGE! Love building but guess what... I got 8 parts missing and cant finish it yet =\ All the same item... how crappy is that =[
July 14, 200816 yr See, that worries me. Sorry to hear you are short pieces. I have one sitting in the box (UCS), waiting to be built, but I have no room to display and at 30+ hours to build......but you are the second person I have heard about that is missing pieces. If you still have the box, what are the codes on the stickers that seal the flaps, if I may ask? Thanks.
July 14, 200816 yr Try contacting LEGO services, they'll be more than happy to compensate for the 8 bricks. Unless you're sure that they were never in the box, however, it's going to cost you. Head on over to www.lego.com and find the contacting service, they're friendly and ready to deal with any problems. And LUCKY TO GET THE MILLENNIUM FALCON!
July 14, 200816 yr I should think it took 20 years to set aside enough cash to buy the Falcon! I had the same problem with the MTT, biggest set I've ever bought. I didnt want to call customer service or go through the site so I improvised! The MTT looks almost exactly the same as it should
July 14, 200816 yr first if that happend to me I'd look for the pieces in my collection and then if I can't find it I'll call Lego Customer Service.
July 16, 200816 yr Author The kit is the HUGE one.. the exclusive 5000+ kit. I ordered the parts through the customer service area on lego.com. havent had any replies back though. Will have to wait and see. The parts are 2 "lugs" wide and are smooth with a single "lug" on top, dark gray in color. Im suprised there are so many missing though and they are hard to be misplaced for something else in the kit. I was very careful not to lose any parts.. kept everything in containers as I built it. Im almost finished.... so close I can taste it! Just to note, Kmart here in AUS had a recent toy sale and we got over $200 off the kit price :) Only 3 kits were delivered to each store.. they sold out on the first 2 days of the sale. Welcome Ado, Great to see another Aussie on this fine web site. Lego Customer service is great, give it a couple of weeks and you should have the parts you require.
