Captain Green Hair Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 The way i read this topic is that nothing is sure yet, so let's not make announcements yet klaus Quote
Dr. Brick Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 Enough speculation, I'm of to LEGO World and I'm going to buy all the resting pieces I need to build this set. If they do release it in the end, I'll have two. Dr. Brick Quote
Lord Santos Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 I'm going to explode in anger ... The 4999 is exclusive to Vestas and it's employees. The Lego Group is going to sell at a yet to decide store only the turbine with a truck to transport it... When I was at a 50 years Lego Building Event in Billund, we had the vice-president of Lego and other members, when I gave them the picture with the turbine they said that a similar set was going to be sold. So you can't go higher than this or are you going to ask Kirk himself??? Quote

If this comes from the Vice-President, we can almost believe that it's official! And after the vice president is the president! (I'm kidding) Edited October 16, 2008 by Gouns Quote

BillytheKid Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 How come the windmill has 3 shadows? Quote

BillytheKid Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 I wonder how many people really build this set, by ordering just the pieces? When I look at bricklink, the rare pieces are slowly getting sold out. Quote

I´m sure a lot, because it´s way to expensive to:a/ - buy the whole set b/ - fast study aerodynamics & mecanics to be able to apply for a job with Vestas I have one built and another 2-3 in pieces for future power needs in LEGO town. Siegfried Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 I have one built and another 2-3 in pieces for future power needs in LEGO town. I hope you don't mean this! Quote

BillytheKid Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 Have the people also pic's of it? I'm still waiting for the parts to arrive. If all parts are arrived, I can make the mill almost complete. Miss only the topslopes of the little building . I will place pic's when finished. Quote
BillytheKid Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 Here are the pic's. Still waiting for one package, before the windmill is finished. The vestaspeople are very busy to welding all parts together: Quote
BillytheKid Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Well, finally the parts have arrived. Just have finished building the vestasset. I miss only pieces, but the windmill is already working. And it's remote controlled? Where can I upload a movie? And how can I change a quicktime-file to a windows media file? Anyway here is the pic of the almost completed vestasset in my town: I'm very proud to have this set in my town. Quote
