I am happy to be able to share my first MOC of 2023, Candlebark Castle.

Candlebark Castle is home to the Red Falcons, an elite division of the Black Falcons faction.

Here are some stats on the build:

-        Built in Lego Bricklink Studio first

-        Approximately 3,500pcs

-        32 x 48 stud footprint

-        13 unique colours

Candlebark Castle will be on display at Australia’s Brickvention in January 2024.

I look forward to seeing other Australian Castle builders there when the time comes!

Thanks for looking and I hope everyone enjoys!

Solid keep. Looks great, standing alone or with the others.

Thanks Feur Zug, appreciated!

Looks impressive, if a little bit too clean. Could do with a handful of masonry profile bricks.

Thanks for the feedback Corydoras :classic:.

I um'd and ah'd about building the model with the masonry bricks sprinkled in but ultimately chose not to use them.

Epic build in classic castle style. I like your windows very much.

Thanks heaps Monty Matte!

Classis Castle style was the look I was going for :classic:.

This is a solid build which uses simple techniques in a complicated way. The use of so many small pieces creates texture, so good job there. I'd love to see some sort of siege of that fort. It would add a lot of value to the overall build.

Thanks a lot Horation :classic:.

I will build more castle stuff before the end of the year, some of which might be able to complement this castle.
