Hello Eurobricks members!

I’m aware that there is another poll BUT it’s way outdated. So I decided to make a new poll.

So…what is your favorite Modular Building so far?? And it an e more than one favorites!

1) Green Grocer:

Such a beautiful building with a lovely minifigure selection. While interior might not be its strong suit, the exterior certainly is. I have far too many fond memories of looking at this set as a teenager. :pir-cry_happy:

2) Detective's Office:

In my opinion, it has the best play features and story out of all of them. The buildings are pleasing and go well with that 1940s detective story look.

3) Assembly Square:

The only one out of these three that I own . Biggest of the entire bunch and has so many possibilities, three buildings with so many rooms and businesses. And of course, the beautiful square itself. :pir-thumb:

1. Café Corner

2. Parisian Restaurant.

Because I have them - and won't get anymore - running out of space. So ranking is easy :pir-huzzah2:

Best,

1.) Police Station
2.) Boutique Hotel
3.) Jazz Club

It’s becuase they are on the shelves and I just start collecting them. I will build Bookshop shortly!

What about 75827 Firehouse Headquarters?

It's not a modular building. Out of scale (WAY too big), and no connectors to the others.... it requires a lot of changes to be a modular.

@Jack Sassy: Dang! Forgot about that one!

Well, size matters ... but you are right of course, Tried to be funny ...

It is beautiful, though.

Green Grocer

It's elegant without going overboard.

The Detective's Office and Cafe Corner are both high up there too.

I'd probably even put the little laundromat up there too if it wasn't attached to an ugly bank.

Well it looks like the pre-Assembly Square sets don’t recieve a lot of love except for Cafe Corner and Green Grocer. Of course ad those Parisian Restaurant and Detective’s Office have a decent of love, I see.

I thinks that’s probably more of a reflection of the sets people actually own too.  The Modulars have grown in popularity since their inception.

for me, it’s too hard to pick. Each has their own charm, and whilst all have flaws, their all quite different both in design, and techniques used to build.

Yeah I can understand it’s more difficult to decide which set as our favorite. BUT I made the poll open to more than one choices here.

My top 5 sets predate the Assembly Square.

While the newer sets look nice, I can tell you I'm not a fan of the Boutique Hotel whatsoever. I prefer an element of simplicity in the design and it's an eyesore for me when placed amongst the rest of the modulars.

I mean, we get it that Boutique Hotel is an anniversary set to celebrate the whole Modular Building lineup. It has a lot of references from the 16 modular sets. Plus, it’s a triangular building, which it’s nice.

But, yeah, I like simplification is a good thing for Modular Buildings, though I still appericate the refreshing building techniques.

Yeah, the Boutique Hotel in and of itself is okay, I just have no interest in purchasing it since it doesn't really fit with the rest of the sets.

I got ya. :)

I saw users making comments about Jazz Club not fitting wll with the rest of the city because of color scheme. But I enjoy collecting post-Assembly Square sets, it’s just nice to mix-and-match. But I understand individuals’ tastes in these Modular sets so it’s okay. :)

The color scheme doesn't bother me, I just would prefer it being a music venue instead of specifically a jazz club, but it still works and I'll probably pick it up.

I just wish the top 2 floors were balconies instead of what they are. Lego town tends to have an issue with seating. :pir_laugh2:

Green Grocer all the way! I like it so much, it's the only modular I have twice. One regular, and one mirror built.
