zinnn Posted July 26, 2023 Posted July 26, 2023 Tan tiles: 1 x 4 (2431) 2 x 4 (87079) 1 x 1 with Groove (3070b) all seem to be darker than my tan plates or even the 1x1 tan round corner tile could you compare with your pieces please? Quote
Yperio_Bricks Posted July 26, 2023 Posted July 26, 2023 I discovered the exact same issue lately with tan wedge plates/plates. It was almost like there were two types of tan color. Quote
zinnn Posted July 26, 2023 Author Posted July 26, 2023 Awww that sucks, for a moment I was *hoping* I have fakes - tbh that would be better than admitting quality issue from Lego :( Quote
Jack Sassy Posted July 26, 2023 Posted July 26, 2023 Seems to be a recurring problem as of late. It all started out with pearl gold elements. Perhaps it has been this way always, just not as much as now? Quote

It's messy. Quote
neithan Posted July 27, 2023 Posted July 27, 2023 Typical quality issue nowadays with Lego Plates. You can find dozens of examples for many colours. The black Tiles in the new batcave comes in more than six different shadings! \o/ Quote
Yperio_Bricks Posted July 27, 2023 Posted July 27, 2023 Shades of white i have noticed right from the start (when i left my dark ages) but variations of tan i only noticed recently. It looked like one of the tans had some slight olive shade. Quote
zinnn Posted July 31, 2023 Author Posted July 31, 2023 (edited) Some more examples, this time with plates (also the Lego logo seems to be more pronounced on those darker pieces) Edited July 31, 2023 by zinnn Quote

And no color is immune. Quote
