Nice. Looking at the reference pictures, I wonder if it might look better if a layer of plates is added on the top section of the nose, and removed from the bottom. As it is now, it feels like the nose is sitting too low.

I'm back in the modelling seat and it's better than ever........... 
I started making a RC Spitfire with my Dad when I was about 6...........As a boy,  I was really into aircraft and 1/32 soldiers of all descriptions........ I ventured into a bit of model railway scenery for my Scalextric 400 set..... loved that too.  I did a 1/24th
P-51D whilst revising for my finals......... now there's a 1/48th Me262 on the kitchen table and it's just great to be back.  
Thank you for letting me join, moderators.  I'm made up to have found this site.
I can feel a beginners airbrush kit coming on.  Always wanted one.
