WHOA.

Dude, suddenly, I like Malum a lot more... I thought he was alright before, but something just changed. And has anyone noticed that the patetrn on Skrall's sheild attaches to the buzzsaw piece from that Exo-Force mech (Assult Tiger of whatever)? So we have a new pattern piece... hm, not sure how you can use that in Moc's, but someone will find a way.

And Strakk still remains at the top for his sheer awesome. =P

Edit: Oh, and for whoever theorized that a hordika brain held on Tarix's launcher - you're right. =)

Second Edit: And I just noticed that, if you look at Malum's pic, you can see a little of how the heads are attached.

Mata neck connector witn rod eneded with ball to connect head? Awesome.

Wow, I just realized that Skrall has a Black Matoro Blade as the hilt of his sword. :pir-sceptic:

Hehe, I already saw that, I could make me a Makutaro, with that.

Skrall has just gotten a lot awesomer.

Loving the 3D shield, the Matoro Blade and new swords and everything.

Vorox is still awesome.

Strakk, Malum and Gresh look funny.

And Tarix has a Black Hordika Neck! =D

Not sure if this was already posted in full, but here comes the still humorously disproportionate Map of the Great Spirit! :classic:

And I don't know WHY Lego insists on using this new type of CGI. It makes the sets look absolutely terrible. <_>

Looks like these pics are 3D models without textures. Sooo shiny(((

Agreed. LEGO is getting in to a bad habbit I'm afraid. The Mistika were made in the same (or similar) style. They look extremely ugly when they use that type of CGI. I think it makes them look too glossy and toyish.

Umm they are toys.

Anyway I think the pics have convinced me to buy them all.

Also ~VBBN~, it'd be nice if you could link all those images in the first post instead of having them always there.

Hm? Do you mean replace the images with links or add links to the images? (Little confused, long day today :pir_laugh2: )

Yeah, I pointed that out a long time ago, but I doubt anyone saw it. :pir_laugh2:

LOving Vorox. Holy hell I just found a tan metru chest piece on his foot. :pir-cry_happy:

yay new pics

Wait... you just noticed that? O_o Edit: Nvm, I stare at pics way too much. I don't need to be dissing people for not wasting their lives looking at toy prototypes. :P

Well done, buddy.

Yay for Avvy heads and transforming Shield Blades!

argh how many times do I have to say it's a new piece >_<

Take a look at... say... Skrall's pic. The head is way to small to be an av head. Av heads are really long. These Glatorian have smaller, rounder heads.

Pretty much absolutely positive the shield is a new piece. If it isn't, you guys can stone me. There's more texture on the black layer of the shield than there is on th Exo saws.

Yay!

Yay!

Awesome.

Want Strakk.

Tarix is just getting weirder for me, though. :/

Vorox looks slightly less awesome in his pic, but those usually do.

Gresh is okay.

I just figured out how Skrall's torso is built.

Malum has a weird face. *is shot with a spiky fruit*

I meant to replace the images with links. It kinda makes scrolling and going to specific posts difficult. :/

Don't forget the tan Mata foot on his back. :3

Why can't Lego just use pictures of the sets like they do for other lines? ;_;

Ohyeah, Bfa, Skrall's torso is like Strakk's but inversed. :3

Dunno how well that'll work out...

Remember, kiddies- Bink already CONFIRMED that the head parts are a new, smaller head that have a dual function and are compatable with older stuffs.

2009 is gonna be awesome.

But I'm pretty sure the 'masks' are dual sided, and flip.(Like a Krahkaan.)

One side is like, a normal 'mask', while the other is a battle helmet or something. . .

And I think that this gladiator theme is awesome, too.

Now that I've looked these things over fairly well, am I the only one that sees a potential problem with the way Malum's shoulder armor is attached? Someone may have already pointed it out (VBBN XD), but he'll look awfully wierd if he turns his arms all the way in/out...

That's the only thing I don't get about 09 - crazy shoulder armor (IE: Tuma). Everything else, though... is what I've been asking for, and more, for years. Just imagine these guys in movie form, voices and all. *Junps up and down, invisioning Vorox and Strakk*

Oh, yes... Malum's shoulder-pads are gonna be a MAJOR obstruction when posing. However, there is an easy way to fix it so the shoulder-armour is on the outside of the arm instead of the front.

Super-Super-Fun-Fact: I actually invented the name "Spectral Hau." It's never been referred to as such anywhere else.

FINALLY! ...except that old school rahi will be storyline irrelevant now... poo...

Just a thought, and anyone with the latest Pirate sets should be able to answer this - is the new tan the same as the old tan?
