hewkii9 Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 (edited) Anyone have the polish guide??? Polish people I assume, but nobody on here, BS01, or BZP I'm afraid. EDIT: You're certainly one to talk Pencoin, thinking a pirate themed smiley can replace proper grammar! Edited November 17, 2008 by hewkii9
Pencoin Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 My finger slipped. I can't wait to make a Gilgamesh MOC with these new hands! It's morphin' time!
Algernon Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 You need to shut up. Its not polish it's Polish and then it's the Polish and Finnish Guide, and then its Makuta's guide to the Universe. You are being quite stuck-up and rude.
Bundalings Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 You're just jealous cuz you don't have a boyfriend =3 ... I dun want one. I lol'ed looking at this :D That's so sad... someone... else... shed some light on them! Hey Greg, I have a couple of questions for you.1. I know that Mata Nui's body uses a-gravity and stablizers to keep the MU from being destroyed when he stands up and such, but what happens when he moves his arm or leg? Wouldn't the geography be changed or something when he moves around? 2. We now know 3 tribe names for next year: Rock, sand, and jungle, do the other three have new "elements" too? Thanks. 1) Obviously not, since it hasn't been in the past 2) The complete six elements are fire, water, ice, sand, rock, and plant/jungle I've been curious about the first one myself. I wonder how that works? ~Bunda
hewkii9 Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 That's so sad... someone... else... shed some light on them! Yes, but remember the old adage - Give a LEGO.com forum member a fire, and he'll be warm for a day. Set a LEGO.com forum member on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.
VBBN Posted November 17, 2008 Author Posted November 17, 2008 That's so sad... someone... else... shed some light on them!~Bunda[/font] I would but lego banned me. I guess it was because I posted spoilers once or twice. And I'm afraid to use my second account for anything but buying from S@H.
---Vertea--- Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 (edited) 1) What I meant was why not use the island to study natives? Now some new: 2)Bara Magna, Spherus Magna... do any more planets end with "Magna"? 3)Will we ever find out what Spherus Magna is? 3b) If we do, will we get to see it? 4) There was recently a teaser on LEGO News for the Glatorian and Agori. On the poster, it said 'the Six Elements of Bara Magna' With little portraits of the Glatorian. Does this mean there are elements in 2009? I thought the tribes were just based off of geography. 5) Are there actually any stone tribe sets in winter 2009? I have an idea that there are more than six tribes because there are more than six types of biomes. Like perhaps Vorox and Zesk are desert while another set could be stone... Or maybe Gresh and Tarduk are Jungle while another set in summer is swamp or something... Am I even close? 6) The LEGO.com teaser suggests the Glatorian and Agori fighting alongside each other, so can you confirm this? 7) I really liked DW 6. But I was wondering why Teridax had never unleashed any of his Shadow Toa. Was it because it was too good a secret weapon, or because he just didn't need power of that magnitude yet? 8) In Bionicle, destiny is always achieved, but can be slightly altered, correct? (such as Makuta's case) 9) Does destiny only exist inside Mata Nui? 8) How many beings know what the Blade Burrower map is? 9)Is Vorox a bone collector? Thanks! ---DSV--- 1) Natives of the planet he visits? Well, we don't know that he didn't do that on planets that HAD natives -- this planet has none, only sea animals. But if he did do that, wouldn't the natives all die when he stood up to go? That wouldn't be very nice. 2) Can't answer it 3) I assume so 4) They are based off geography, but they are still called fire tribes or water tribes, etc. 5) The black sets are rock. 6) No, too early to discuss 7) Tridax just made them. Remember, the shadow leech has not existed all that long, so he just started this operation. 8) You get where you are supposed to go, but sometimes how you get there varies. 9) No. I have a destiny, you have a destiny, all living things have a destiny if you believe in that. 8) The Great Beings would know. Mata Nui and the Makuta should know, but don't. Brutaka knows now. 9) No. Oh, and someone on BZP posted a topic on the summer 2009 plot, but it was deleted. Also, Glatorian were spotted at TRU EDIT: Here's some more stuff: Hi, Greg. Had some really important Q's for you today on '09.1. Cendox V1 Kaxium V3 Baranus V7 Thornatus V9 Skopio XV-1 Can you confirm these? 2. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Can you name any winter '09 sets that are female? Uh, Dekar, those names are leaked, remove them NOW 3. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « At the Library, you said villians eat the thornax stew, and you later said the people who ate it are called bone-hunters. Are bone-hunters villains? Thanks for your time. 1) No, I can't 2) The female set is out in summer, as she is a main movie character 3) They are among the villains, yes, not the only villains Edited November 17, 2008 by ---Vertea---
Makuta'sdarkslave Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 Hooray, Yaoi! My fanfics will write themselves! OMG, I SO AGREE! My readers will be so pleased, and I'll be drawing in some more, it seems. Hehe. Yaoi power...
Holy Diver Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 OMG, I SO AGREE! My readers will be so pleased, and I'll be drawing in some more, it seems. Hehe. Yaoi power... I fear we are opening a Pandora's Box with this discussion. So Skrall is on Tuma's team. Nice revalation.
Wrinkledlion X Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 I wonder is having opposing tribes like this will make the fans all fight each other. Supporters of the Rock Tribe Vs. Supporters of the Jungle Tribe, etc. Lots of flaming and such. I hope. That'd be fun. GO ROCK TRIBE
Makuta'sdarkslave Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 I fear we are opening a Pandora's Box with this discussion. Why do you way that? =\ Just curious is all... Just so this post isn't off topic: how exactly is everything positioned in MN's body? Like, I know it's in domes, but if he stood up, would the protodermis, with all the islands, shift, so instead of lying vertically, they would be lying horizontally? Or what? Since MN can control the Gravity, I was just wondering that or would he just make it so no one falls off the floor that's now become a wall?
---Vertea--- Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 Does anyone have any info on this summer 09 stuff? Although, it could just be some more crap that got deleted for being stupid. Also, I'm glad that I was right-Skrall and Atakus are villains! I wonder if Tuma's legions are the bone-hunters or if they are another villainous faction... And since Tuma is the Rock Leader, that means we can eliminate Atakus from the list of suspected leaders.
hewkii9 Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 Makuta's, I think apart from the gravity we'll simply have to believe in maaaaaagic...
Antrozek Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 hey, you remember Certavus?. ya Know, of the second easy 2009 reader book of G.F, you think that Certavus is a World like Bara Magna and Spherus Magna?
---Vertea--- Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 Well, since your topic on the visit to LEGO, no doubt you have been bombarded with questions on it.I'm here to add to that pile of PMs you've probably received. XD 1) When you say you saw some new bionicle stuff lying around, does that include summer 09? 2) From what you saw, can you tell us anything about the Glatorian and Agori sets? That's all for now, Thanks! ---CWV--- Surprisingly you're only the second person to ask me anything tongue.gif I don't exactly know if LEGO wants me talking about this or not, so just don't go shouting it out to everyone wink.gif Anyways 1) I think I might have seen some summer stuff, hard to tell, it was all combiner models 2) I saw a combiner model for I think summer 2009 and I saw some interesting new pieces. There were hand pieces, but I bet you know that from the set pictures, and the new swords and thornax launchers look neat. But there was also a new piece I don't think anyone has seen yet. It was like a disk with numbers 1 to 6 on the outside and also a skull picture, and I have no idea what that is for. -Junic That is a life-counter for kids to tell how many hit points they have or something I imagine. It's part of the new playability thing. It's on all of the winter sets connected by a Toa Metru chest piece. Quite clever, really. How do the combiners look? The combiners look really neat, there is a two way mask (like the Krahkan) that is used, and I think comes from the winter titan set (the green one) If I remember correctly he has quite an elaborate gun that he uses. But other than that not much to say. Just really awesome looking all around. Junic

Surely wouldn't they go and research about all that is known about 2009 to draw conclusions about what what they saw means? If any of us saw the early content, we'd have a step by step explanation of everything that could be deduced from the content.
Makuta'sdarkslave Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 Makuta's, I think apart from the gravity we'll simply have to believe in maaaaaagic... Out of the two answers I got, I like this one the best. O_O Maaaaaagical... Anyways, I guess keeping the gravity constant make sense, according to the other answer I got.
Kanohi Ignika Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 Ohhh interesting! I guess the life counter doesn't really do anything related to gear mechanism, which would have been cool (imagine each Glatorian's face/mask start to fall off the more "damage" they took). So Tuma has a double face mask huh? That seems interesting... -Iggy

JINZONINGEN73 Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 You are being quite stuck-up and rude. Agreed. We do not curse at each other. We also do not tell others to shut up. Of course, these rules can be broken when the context is BLATANTLY tongue-in-cheek, but... I shouldn't even have to point this out. >__< QUOTE (Holy Diver @ Nov 17 2008, 05:25 PM) *I fear we are opening a Pandora's Box with this discussion. Same thing, kind of lol. Listen to your gut. It SHOULD tell you when too much is too much, if you listen to it. Luckily, it's not hit that level yet, just sayin'. Man... I hate saying it, because it's really dumb... but I think I've been put off from doing mocs lately, solely due to my anticipation for the Glatorian hands. I have junk laying around here half-done... all with no hands. It's infuriating it took them this long to make some. BUT, at least they're showing up now, 10 years later in the Technic line. Hopefully Lego won't stop at JUST these hands, and will do them in different (slightly better) designs. You know, like with 4 fingers and the ability to emulate a pose. (I HOPE they're not avoiding that to thwart the obvious outcome of kids making every moc on their shelf flip the bird, shocking their parents. That'd be a TERRIBLE reason not to make them fully poseable.) Some hate the look of them, but that's a lack of foresight. How someone can prefer ball sockets over a hand, however oddly shaped, is confounding to me. I do like that they put the thumb in the middle... that way they don't have to make 2 different hand molds, just 1.
