ShaddowCroc Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 YES! MAHI! Mahi've been my favorite rahi for a loooong time, and now I can build one. Of course, the other problem is that it'll mess up the set, seeing as how Vorox is built, but meeehhhh.

Just use a brown mata foot-it'll match the color scheme since Vorox's armour also has brown on it.

Bfahome Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 Oh, yes... Malum's shoulder-pads are gonna be a MAJOR obstruction when posing. However, there is an easy way to fix it so the shoulder-armour is on the outside of the arm instead of the front. If I get him, I'm just gonna switch the shoulder armor with the feet. :/
Bundalings Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 If I get him, I'm just gonna switch the shoulder armor with the feet. :/ Wait, what? ~Bunda

Ikki o' Moopyville Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 (edited) I KNEW IT. BREAKING 2009 NEWS! 1: Were the inhabitants of Bara Magna the inspiration that the Great Beings used when making Matoran and other creatures?2: Were The Endless Ocean planet and Bara Magna once part of one planet at some point in the past? It would seem so, seeing as The endless ocean is, well, a bunch of water. Whereas (I'm not saying this is true), Bara Magna is mostly desert. It would seem logical that these two planets are part of the three that must become one. 1) Very good, T. 2) I can't discuss the cosmology of the universe, as that is dealt with in future storyline ~T11~ Man, this is fantastic! -Ikk Edited November 20, 2008 by Ikki o' Moopyville
The Crazy One Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 This has probably been noticed this before but Skrall and Vorox have extra pices on their left feet , is it something to do with their enviroment or is it a sort of handicap. T.C.O

I love how these answers that are slowly popping up seem to prove more and more that the Great Beings are so great. One was driven mad by the Ignika, it's own creation, and now they're stealing inspiration from already existing beings. I really do hope that it turns out that they are/were a bunch of extremely scientifically smart, but completely mortal and otherwise normal beings. It would be even better that they were outcasts or villians, and only praised by the Matoran because of their ignorance. It would allow for such storyline deepness.

Throughout the last couple of years, the Great Beings have seemed to me more and more like aliens -- if any of you are familiar with ancient astronaut theories, this would be a similar case. Otherwordly lifeforms that some time in the distant past initiated the construction of modern civilization, and in return were portrayed by man as gods. If that's the case, dang awesome. -Ikk Edited November 20, 2008 by Ikki o' Moopyville

Thanks.Don't mean to seem naive but what exactly are life counters? T.C.O Ever played Hero Clix or Action Clix? Basically, *fires Thornax* *opponent's Glatorian hit by Thornax* "MUAHAHAHA!" "Oh, snap." *looks at life counter* "I'm only one hit away from death!" *is hit again* *turns life counter one more time* *Glatorian is sooooo dead* ~Bunda
ShaddowCroc Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 Thanks.Don't mean to seem naive but what exactly are life counters? T.C.O They're little switches that count down life points to go with the new Battles Against each other thing.
The Alchemyst Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 I dunno what everyone is saying about, how Mata Nui is disproportionate... Wasn't Metru Nui supposed to be his brain? And I thought the CGI was a tad wrong showing Mata Nui/Metru Nui to be the size of MN's head... Here's how I took the map: Ta da! Not all parts are out of the water and all so... yea. [-The Alchemyst-]
Ikki o' Moopyville Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 Looks good, except for the fact that the Island of Mata Nui is seven times the size of Metru Nui. XD But the map is obviously disproprionate still -- just look at Voya Nui! A hole the size of that letting water in for a millenium would sure have flooded the entirety of the universe. Then there is, of course, the piston problem, since there is hardly space for twin continents in Mata Nui's upper body, and his waist is too small as well. Probably stems from the fact that Ghost had no idea MN had a universe inside him, while the mapmakers were unaware of MN having pistons in his mid-section. Porblem can easily be fixed by moving that section a bit lower, though, giving room for both continents in his upper body. -Ikk
hewkii9 Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 Or perhaps we could just accept that over these thousand years of nothing but snoozin' Mata Nui's really let himself go..

That comes first over the map. The way I see the map is simply that the distance between the islands is greatly and inconstantly scaled. The shape of the islands are correct, but an accurate map wouldn't fit on two pages, or it would need to have very very small islands.

Makuta'sdarkslave Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 Heeeeeeeeey, anyone else notice that, and I'm not dissing them in any way, but how these hand joints are very smiliar to those total lame ones we got in the Knight's Kingdom series? I mean, I love 'em and all, they're just kinda... eeeh.
UltimaNuva Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 Bwahaha! Everytime new images come up they look worse!Seriously, the torso designs are if anything WORSE than what we've had before. A single Inika shoulder on an Inika torso? Ba-bow! That black one has such a small and pathetic looking torso, it's horrendous. It's only the size of his weapons that would make him any good in battle. The red one and the tan one are the only ones that look OK, and OK isn't good enough. If the world revolved around recolours and new thigh pieces, then these would be the best sets ever. Sadly though, that is not the case. ...and surely Gresh could have had a recolour for the torso armour, I mean, is it so hard to turn a two toned piece into a one toned piece? Ba-bow! And I do believe some have Inika heads and some have Av-Matoran heads. The only one that doesn't perhaps is Gresh...more Inika heads, you guessed it, ba-bow! wat
