1) Is there a tribe that is solely Bone-hunters?

2)Do the bone-hunters support Tuma's conquest or do they oppose it, or are they indifferent?

3) Are any winter sets bone-hunters?

And some on 2009 in general:

4) Can tribes of one color recruit Glatorian of another color? Like say, Tarduk recruits Vorox or something like that.

5) Why do Glatorian do what they do? Necessity, pay, or because they like it?

6) Does the Skrall set have a name?

7) Is Tuma a high-ranking Skrall or something else?

8) Will we see different tribes in the summer, or same?

9) Do you think the Mata Nui set lives up to the name?

10) Do the Glatorian have tribe preferences (Skrall aside)?

11) How does one become a Glatorian?

12) Does eating Thornax have any benefit or is it just part of the Bone-hunters and their character?

---CWV---

1-3) Too early to discuss

4) Yes

5) I would say all three. There is a need for them, and in return, they need food, shelter, equipment repair, things like that, which can best be provided by a village.

6) Skrall. Skrall warriors are not given individual names unless they earn them.

7) See answer to #1

8) I don't think anything different, no

9) I work for LEGO Company, what answer are you expecting here? Also keep in mind this is not a set of the 40 million foot tall Mata Nui of 2008.

10) In terms of working regularly for certain tribes, yes

11) One gets hired for the job.

12) Yes, it keeps you from being hungry

Some question s of mine

I like the merc idea, also there is a Bionicle prize in the advent calender, its one of the '06 playsets!

Wait, you know this how? If it is though, that's the one I want! :pir_laugh2:

The new Destiny War is up. It was nice, but not very exciting imo. Nice to see a certain Visorak-hater back and an entity with a huge ego, though.

One thing that was interesting, however, was that the new chapter hinted at the origin of the Energized Protodermis...

From Greg, a readable guide to Skrall and Glatorians :)

Agori are the villagers on Bara Magna.

Glatorian are warriors hired by the villages to fight on their behalf.

Skrall are warriors who fight for the rock tribe. Unlike other Glatorian, Skrall do not get individual names unless they really distinguish themselves in some way. Otherwise, they are just called by their species name.

Good thing I asked for this :)

Im glad Skrall is a species, cause now I can see an army of my favorite Glatorians.

The whole naming process sounds like how the Aztecs would award costumes and titles to the bravest warriors.

I also correctly guessed that the Glatorians would be elite mercenaries.

Wow, Happy Meal Antroz looks... a little scary :pir-tongue:

EDIT: Just read the new Takanuva Blog, and if it's going in the direction I think it is I think there could be a Toa army very soon.

1) The Skrall is collection of physically unique warriors, yet they are simply called Skrall, correct?

2) Will the Skrall that is one of the winter sets have an importance, or is it a generic Skrall?

3) So far, this is how the rock tribe looks:

Leader-Tuma

Warriors-Skrall

Civilians-Agori, e.g. Atakus, Fero

Is this correct?

1) Skrall is their species name. They only get individual names if they earn one.

2) Well, he shows up a lot.

3) Fero is not an Agori nor is he a member of the rock tribe. He is, however, related to the rock tribe.

Foundon BZP I'm pretty sure the Fero part is new.

Hi, Greg, I'm still manically excited about 2009.

A few questions:

1. Do all Skralls look the same?

1a. Do any of them carry different weapons depending on their role in the tribe?

2. Will we meet any Skralls with individual names?

3. Would Tuma be considered a Skrall?

4. Do all Glatorian of the same tribe look the same? (ie: All ice-Glatorian look identical, all fire-Glatorian look identical, etc.)

5. Do Glatorian/Agori wear masks or helmets? Or are those just their faces?

6. How would I pluralize "Skrall?" Skralls? Skrall? Skrall Tribesmen?

7. Are there female Skralls?

1) I would say no

1a) Yes

2) Yes

3) Want to hold off on answering this one

4) No, not at all

5) They do wear masks/helmets, yes

6) Skrall

7) I assume so, but none are planned for story at this point.

Wow, Greg's really started to let a lot slide on 2009.

Hopefully we can get more before the serials start (Since that's the only story we'll have for . . .3 months. Grrgh.)

I think he's allowed to say a bit more now that there's only a month to go.

I'm still really confused about how the Glatorian thing works. Are there more than one of each element Glatorian (aside from Skrall)? Are all Skrall the same or at least are there multiples of the canister Skrall? Will the summer sets be Glatorian as well because TLC is budget and cutting name legalisation costs? ( :pir-tongue: )

The Glatorian are warriors hired by different tribes to fight for them in arenas.(Almost the same way you bet on horse races, only longer lasting.) Each Glatorian must come from a village(Which are geographically arranged, not elementally.) who's colors he/she wears, but do not have to fight for. There are many Glatorian, some with the same colors, I'm sure. Skrall are a tribe whom have many Glatorian without an individual name, but do look different. And Greg's said somewhere that they aren't going to change the subseries in Summer this year.

I think all this is accurate, and if it's not; you can shoot me in the face.

. . .

Oh hey! I beg to differ on these McDonalds sets!

I see that a few of them have removable weapons and projectiles.

No shocker, Gorast seems to be the best set even as a Happy Meal toy, what with pop-off wings.

In fact, that one figure alone has me wanting to go to McDonalds to try and get one (as many as possible).

It's literally been YEARS since there was a Happy Meal toy to get me to do that.

(Are these out yet? ...I forget...)
