Now it's just getting gross. :pir_laugh2:

-Ikk

No man, I wasn't joking like that!!!!!! Plus, that isn't what I do, as I just realized. I hold the sphere in my fingers, with my index finger around the sphere. THen, I push the socket on with my thumb. So far, my broken piece count for 08 is 0 :)

That Means that Greg had time to write a longer book!!!! BTW, F***ING Toys R Us and F***ING Wal*Mart are don't have the Glatorians . . . Don't worry guys, I'll give them hell, except for the elderly workers at Wal*Mart. . .

Yes, because clearly next year's sets should be available this year, and clearly it's the employees' fault that they're not.

Winter sets are racist because there are no females.

Uh, last time I checked… O____________________o

ALSO: I haven't been here in a while (again) and was too lazy to read through all the pages since I was here last (again…), so this may have already been said…

But if "Skrall" is the name of the tribe, every individual is referred to as "Skrall", and the tribes are mixed genders, Skrall can be a she. :3

I made that list as a joke, so that's why it makes little sense. XD

But the only joints I've had ANY problems with were old ones and lime-green pieces.

(I had LEGO replace about three-fourths of all my Lewa and Tanma pieces.)

But for other ball sockets they haven't been broken at all. And this is with rigorous playing.

Guys, just let me say that I totally agree about the ball sockets. It's seriously really annoying that they are breaking so much, and it really disapoints me that they changed the mold to this new rubbish design. Seriously, I think one of the possible reasons why TLC doesn't seem to care is that the core audlence doesn't even care about building at all - they probably just build sets once and never even MOC at all. :pir-hmpf:

It's not just BIONICLE that's been hurt by LEGO's cheapification of parts. I noticed a lot of system parts have had a less consistent color- as in, if you have a lot of brown pieces, you'll notice that some are lighter and darker than they should be. I never noticed that in the older sets. Stickers are the result of cheapification as well.

Actually, that's not true about the stickers. Stickers have been in sets for years and years, even as far back as the 70's. It's true that we're getting more of them lately, but the actual method of stickers is nothing new.

Mister Greg

4)I heard somewhere that when Kopaka & Tahu where putting caps on volcanos they made up can you confirm this?

4) I would say they have a mutual respect for each other.

Hehe... I think Greg misread this...

Same here. I think this is one of the reasons I've been so dry in the MOCing department lately.

Not just the colors... I've noticed the bricks themselves are slightly translucent.

Yeah, that's how I do it. It's when you start taking them apart the problems start...

LEGO, PLEASE DON'T GIVE US THAT CRAP ABOUT PURPLE NOT BEING HIGH ENOUGH QUALITY WHEN YOU'RE MAKING LAME QUALITY EVERYTHING LIKE YOU ARE NOW

And while you're bringing Purple back, either lower the prices or (preferably) raise the quality of your parts. You got us paying more for less and it makes me angry.

~Bunda

It doesn't have to do with Quality, It's color consistency. =/

Which makes sense seeing that there are like 15 different shades of Purple. D:

Go get some Dark Panthers (although you already have one).

They're on clearance by now.

Got mine for 50% off, at the Lego Store here in Chicago. :3

Remember the tasks the Nuva did in the Nuva Blog? Tahu and Kopaka worked to cap a series of volcanoes.
they made up can you confirm this?

What?

I think Greg interpreted it as "Did they become friends again?".

How else would you interpret it?

Oh yeh one more thing: Mata Nui can't go back to MU with Iggy, because as soon Iggy is inside the MU, big boom.

Posted
What?

If Ignika returns to a Teridax controlled MU, it will turn black and kill everything. So MN has to find some way out of Ignika if he wants to return to his universe.

I still have no idea what you're talking about, but this time it probably has something to do with my lack of interest in Bionicle lore.

My problem is that a LOT of pieces broke right from the start. So even if I weren't a mocer, I'd STILL be pissed and feeling burnt.

I'm shocked by it, really I am. Playing with Lego is becoming a CHORE, and it's not from a lack of enthusiasm!

I don't even know if I have the fire in me to do BBC #51. I DID get all worked up, but I have parts from Inika all the way up till now just freaking cracking.

If it weren't for the kittens crawling around my room, climbing up things and swatting Lego pieces, I'd probably not even have thought of mocing right now.

Don't get me wrong, Lego is VERY good in the replacement parts department.

But with these TONS of defective parts, why should I have to?

I'm not an employee of Lego, I'm just a guy who likes playing with their junk!

If I can't play with their junk without it shattering in my hand, ... ... ...exactly why would I be buying more sets again?

And even when I FINALLY send off my annual "long list of broken shit" to Lego, I KNOW that even some of those replacement parts are going to instantly break too!

So like what, do I keep crawling back to them crying?

Do I overstate the amount of broken parts in an estimation of how many it'll take to get an unbroken initial amount?

Do I just say screw it and start buying Megablocks?

Maybe I could take up clay sculpting, or start drawing again.

I really don't know what to do. I do know I'm going to wind up Bricklinking those new hands, definitely.

I don't care if I have to buy 20 before I get one good pair.

There's like 10 years of handicapped mocs here waiting for freaking prosthetic hands that should've been here from the beginning.

What can I say, I stopped following it when it turned into LEGO Power Rangers. :P

No. No. No :P

The day it gets actually to close to turning that way, the world will end. SO far, that world is all right. :P
