No, in the pic it's tighter to the chest. =/

It's CGI though. I doubt they'd want to show any flaws in promo stuff.

Isn't it a bit early to be speculating over their construction, though? xD

Yeah. :P

I mean, we are like 6 months away form 2009. XD

Strakk has gone down in awesomeness in set design IMO.

Yay for TLC for having a new, unique, humped design...

But boo for large nasty gaps.

Eeew.

But yea, we have like 4 more months.

That torso is sooo awesome. =D

Anyone else thinking that Gresh's shield thing will make awesome fish fins?

Also D=< @ Bfa's sig.

~Bunda

It'd make a good top of the fish.

So... let's rate the new canisters:

1. Vorox

2. Strakk.

3. Skrall, Gresh, Tarix, Maium.

They all have their pros and cons...

But Vorox just kills them all. :3

1. Vorox, Strakk

3. Gresh, Tarix, Maium

Good guys are never as good. :(

They all look bad to me...

Strakk/Vorox

Tarix

Fero and Skermix

Gresh/Skrall

Malum

...

...

...

...

Tuma.

The small sets I don't know about. The only ones that really appeal to me are Tarduk and Zesk.

Honestly, I don't give two shits about gaps and other stuff you guys whine about.

1. Skrall

2. Tuma

3. Strakk, Maium, Gresh, Vorox, Fero and Skirmix

4. Terix, small sets.

=P

What DO you care about? O_o

But OH MY GOD VOROX IS GOING TO BE EPIC.

Now watch as LEGO changes him to yellow right before releasing him. >____>

...really? You think he's awesome?

Eurobricks has changed... Analyzing the sets from the majority of this forums' perspective... he would be considered horrible. Tail midway up his back, practically sticking out his neck (TrogDOR!!), reuse of Hewkii's blade, big clunky armor, backwards Inika torso... aside from the tan you all should be hating him but you're not. :?

This applies to many of the sets... they have horrible but unique design (PRIDAK = STRAKK), flashy new parts, and you guys fall in love with them. Whereas figures with an effective but boring design are being bashed or ignored (MISTIKA = GRESH). GRARGH. People are sooo frustrating...

You guys need to remember the point of BIONICLE... Figures. Not creative builds. Cool lookin' armor is important, but as a figure, IMO, the articulation and range of motion are what matter most. So most of these... especially Malum it seems... ugh... would be difficult to move at all, and aside from initial impact and a little cool factor, bleh.

To settle the Strakk body thing, after inspecting the pic... it seems it is a backwards inika Torso with the joint on the back (similar to Gorast, where the neck would be normally), but with the armor attached to the front of the back? Dunno how to say that part. Leaving the Inika shoulder armor wobbly. :(

Also: I think there will be a prob with the new head... it has a socket at the base, not a ball. So this will prolly introduce a new peice, like for the necks, similar to the Hordika but straight. So yeah. New peice maybe possibly. for the necks.

EDIT: Urk... sorry for the block of text there... go ahead and skip over it... Just needed to vent a little... nothin to see here...

Yeah. I like the design and basis. And I haven't bought any sets with the warblade, so this could be a chance. The way it's used actually looks good in the hand like that.

And as for the Strakk armor, that can be solved with a single tiny piece.

But how can you see the heads behind the masks? I can't see anything…

I disagree, Dor. If I want posability, I'll buy a Revoltech.

If I want a funky-looking figure with HUEG LIEK ECKSBAWKS Weapons I can build myself, I'll buy a Bionicle. =3

They probably (probably) use the same heads as the matoran use. I'm not sure, just puttin it out there. Lego is unlikely to make a new mold for 6 sets. :/ also, the fact I couldn't find the typical neck peice on Tarix, it could just be hiding, but IDK.

Here, see this gap is too big for the old neck peice (red circle, excuse the gross vista paint jpeg *vista sux*):

Well the Av-Matoran/Phantoka have different heads…

I see what you mean there. But there's always the possibility of CGI error. It's happened before (Kalmah…), and it could happen again.

Wait, how did I not notice the black Brutaka blade…? O_O *faints*
