Mizzeh Posted December 25, 2008 Posted December 25, 2008 Why would you assume I'd want to see it? oO Jinzo, you scare me too. =P That's right, you know my age, don't you? >< Bioni-pr0nz for the fail.
Brickthing Posted December 25, 2008 Posted December 25, 2008 Lol, I was just on Brickshelf and a set picture of Mata Nui was on the front page. LEGO doesn't seem to be trying very hard to cover them up do they?
dviddy Posted December 25, 2008 Posted December 25, 2008 Check this gallery out. >>Although yes, I do suppose I was being really rude..I'm just frustrated that somebody already made the review and didn't do a very good job..Oh well. That Skrall picture scares me. oO Forget that Gresh gallery. This one's better. Well, I am having a tough choice right now. Should I get Strakk, Gresh, or Tarix? I get to get one of them tonight, so just wondering which one you guys think is best. :) Gresh. Those are the three I have, and Gresh is by far the coolest looking one of the bunch. Though Strakk is a close second. Tarix just sucks. You'd be fine either way, to be honest.

The rubbery armor bugs me though. Not majorly, but a bit. Also, no one seems to stres how tall he seems, and is, but not by too much, mostly because of his long neck. I hate how he holds his Thornax, so I just changed it. But usually he isn't carrying it. Love the three tones, contrary to some people. I think it makes his colors more icy, in that it shows transition. All the light blue is at a place where white meets dark blue. Makes it look much more like really ice to me. And I love how troll like he is. I just imagine him under a bridge eating goats. :D

His eyes make me want to hug him while he hacks my head off!
~Wrack'n'Ruin~ Posted December 25, 2008 Posted December 25, 2008 Yeah, you're not quite what I'd call ready for the rest of that pic.>__o lol I really megablocking am. EDIT: But I can't draw for beans. The rest is (more) hideous. Forgot to color in a knee too. You probably already know where it's hosted. >__<
Bundalings Posted December 25, 2008 Posted December 25, 2008 I require a picture of Gresh with his armor flush to his body and his shoulder spikes connected to his back. ~Bunda
JINZONINGEN73 Posted December 25, 2008 Posted December 25, 2008 What a dismal sight, going to the Lego aisle in the Walmart here. (The only place to buy Lego!) They had but 2 small Agents sets and a bunch of $50 castles. For Bionicle, like a few Ignika and a Mazeka. COMPLETE wipe-out. I've seen the place "sparse" before, but not quite so... obliterated. Wish there was a Kmart or Toys R Us around here.
Antroz147 Posted December 25, 2008 Posted December 25, 2008 All of the 2009 Sets are now on Shop@Home, including Glatorian ! Link I will finally be able to buy Vorox and Zesk !

It's called Christmas Jinzo All the shops near me only stocked the 08 impulse sets, the dwarf catapults and the mail vans. All of the 2009 Sets are now on Shop@Home, including Glatorian !Link I will finally be able to buy Vorox and Zesk ! ^*$&^&$#. The Agori are $15 and the Glatorian are $25. (NZD) = BAD
dviddy Posted December 25, 2008 Posted December 25, 2008 I require a picture of Gresh with his armor flush to his body and his shoulder spikes connected to his back.~Bunda Looks worse than it does normally. The gaps are bothersome, but the spikes look weird coming from behind his head, and he loses the delicious depth the shoulder spikes give him now. My Wal*Mart JUST stocked up on half the Glatorian, all the Agori, and Tuma on the 23rd. By the end of the day, most of them were gone. I got there earlier while they were stocking the shelf, watched them open the LEGO boxes, stock the shelves, and when I came back later? One Tuma. Which I bought.
Phantoka_Chirox Posted December 25, 2008 Posted December 25, 2008 My Gawd Ebay's having a deal of $11 per glatorian... Lego S@H I wonder why they say Zesk is a HE not an it and Are the vorox's and Zesks in the Earth tribe?
iLego94 Posted December 25, 2008 Posted December 25, 2008 Merry Christmas!!!!! Hopefully my next post will be on an iPod touch :) (if my 7 gb 5 day long music collection ever syncs! :P ) ~iLego94
Mizzeh Posted December 25, 2008 Posted December 25, 2008 Deevee - I know, yes, that one is far superior to mine, but I was making a point that I could do better than Airoski. :P I don't have the best photography equipment, namely the camera itself. Merry Christmas, guys! I'm typing this because everybody else in my family is asleep. =P
iLego94 Posted December 25, 2008 Posted December 25, 2008 Sucess! iLove Apple as always . . . ~iLego94
The Dor Posted December 25, 2008 Posted December 25, 2008 Well, I now have all the Glatorian. Vorox is soo cute. I love the tan. And the adorable headcrab face. <3 Definitely my fave of the bunch right now. Love the tail. Gresh looks very unbalanced, IMO. I wish his legs were a little bulkier. And his torso is a bit annoying. Tarix is amazing. I loves him so much. The gold is astounding. It really makes the set. Although the Mata blue hands and feet detract a bit. And the thornax are getting really dull. I still think they are by far the best launchers Lego has released. Makes me happy. But they are boring, so I just leave 'em off now. :\ If you guys can get these sets, I suggest you do. They are definitely worth it. Best sets evar.

The Dor Posted December 25, 2008 Posted December 25, 2008 You seriously prefer Tarix over Gresh? He was probably the most boring set yet for me, frankly. Slightly. Tarix is a bit boring, but Gresh has a similar design, only a little longer in the limbs. However, putting his shoulder claws behind the torso improves him a lot. I still absolutely adore Gresh but Tarix is a little better. But that doesn't matter, because Vorox beats 'em all. :P Except his tail is backwards. But that is easily fixed. :)
Neaku Posted December 25, 2008 Posted December 25, 2008 Slightly. Tarix is a bit boring, but Gresh has a similar design, only a little longer in the limbs. However, putting his shoulder claws behind the torso improves him a lot. I still absolutely adore Gresh but Tarix is a little better. This is wrong. Putting the shoulder claws behind the torso makes him as thin as any other new canister set, which is bad. The shoulder claws make him have a nice thickness pleasant to the eye, unlike the thinness that the rest have. Tarix is thin and boring. The shoulder spikes on him look slapped on and bad. The limbs on Gresh are very long though.... =\ But that can easily be solved by bending them. lol And the length look very good with the thinness and give him a nice streamlined feeling.

Eh. It works for me. It also stabilizes the claws, so they don't impede shoulder movement as much. And the thickness makes him look hollow and full of air. Doesn't look good, IMO. And he looks uncomfortable around the neck. I like the long limbs. Makes him stand out among the rest. :)
Ecto Posted December 25, 2008 Posted December 25, 2008 I have all Glats but Vorox and Strakk, and Gresh is probably the best canister set since Jaller Mahri.
The Dor Posted December 25, 2008 Posted December 25, 2008 I have all Glats but Vorox and Strakk, and Gresh is probably the best canister set since Jaller Mahri. And there's your problem. ;) But Gresh is becoming more awesome by the minute. But Strakk and Vorox are definitely better. Love Strakk. He fits his personality very well. :) And Tarix is losing his steam. It's kinda sad. He's a good figure. Better than the Mistika, but still the worst of the group. Although he really does pull off the rich king look very well.
Bundalings Posted December 25, 2008 Posted December 25, 2008 Now that S@H has Glatorian up I'll try to order Strakk, Gresh, Berix, and Zesk. I know it's a wide assortment but those are my favorites. Dunno if I'll be able to get all those at once though. Depends on if I'll get some money for Xmas or something. (I live in Hawaii so it's only 9:00 here, we haven't opened gifts yet. Here's hoping for Taka!) ~Bunda
Pencoin Posted December 25, 2008 Posted December 25, 2008 Wow a price increase? I hope it doesn't affect my local Toys R Us, which will not get the new sets until the end of January! How annoying, I wish I could buy from LEGO shop@home now...
Bfahome Posted December 25, 2008 Posted December 25, 2008 I wonder why they say Zesk is a HE not an it … because that particular Zesk is a he? :/ No Glatorian under the tree, but that's not a surprise. They weren't available soon enough, so I didn't bother asking for them. I hope to get them within the next week.
