Actually, Greg revealed that Mata Nui's death was planned in 2001. I don't remember him saying anything about Takanuva, though, but I may have missed it. It is possible there was, as you say, a basic idea of another hero showing up in the future, and since Templar evidently had access to the story bible or knew much of the planned plot, they may have planted this hint too.

EDIT: Apparently Mata Nui speaks and understands many if not all languages, and Makuta now does too.

Maybe Mata Nui got information of Each Planet that he pass

I think it's more likely he was programmed with the ability to master all languages -- evidently Bara Magna is important to his mission, but he could not have picked up the language on his journey as he was never there.

Whats wrong with them being big?

No one in their right mind would spend all the time and resources building a bunch of ginormous flags randomly, especially under their circumstances.

Also, I'd like to see someone make a green Skrall. Lime joints, Fero swords, Tarix/Berix head.

Hey, I was thinking of making an alternate Skrall tribesman, with dark bley instead of red, Atakus head, GITD Atakus swords and a different body design....but your idea isn't bad either...also, thanks to the three heads we can build Glatorian and Agori with varied eye colours like humans!

Hmm, if the Great Beings had nothing to do with the Rua Nui on Bara Magna, do you guys think that the GBs got inspiration from that. If they used Agori and Glatorian as design insperations, who said they couldn't use another giant robot as the inspiration for Mata Nui?

Wait, Rua Nui is a fan term, right? Anyway, good thinking. I still wonder how are Bara Magnians made. Are they organic creatures who wear armour?

Yeah, I made it up. It's Maori for "Great #2."

EDIT: I hope they're biomechanical. I know it's a bit perplexing how that would work, but I've always thought of BIONICLE as a fantasy story so who really cares. Make 'em biomechanical.

Greg said Bara Magnan civilization was never as advanced as Metru Nui or as ours, so rebuilding themselves into bionic forms seems an unfathomable option. At the same time, they look far too advanced to simply be wearing armor, and they were not created by the Great Beings or anyone else.

Just like there are no maps showing pre-icecap Antarctica. Just like a second Great Spirit-like being never existed... very mysterious. I love it. =D

Biomechanical like MU creatures? I think that they are like that due to the fact they're artificial beings, components of a huge robot. I always liked the Bionicle idea of cyborg like creatures, but I don't think all creatures in the universe are like that....Bara Magnians are not artificial, confirmed by Greg.

Ikki beat me...sorta. :P Ikki, is your name taken from Saint Seiya? I can't help but thinking about Phoenix Ikki...

I would be mildly disappointed if they're just organics wearing armor. The idea of Biomechanical beings was always what defined BIONICLE for me . . .

MNOGII had the most awesome quote ever.

Totally makes up for all the early Pakari-Ruru confusion. =D Also this:

I love that Taipu quote... well, I love Taipu in general.

I never got out of Ga Wahi in that game so that Kapura quote is new to me. =P

My Glatorian are still in Memphis... =/

Ikki was actually my name as a boy scout -- we all got names from the Jungle Book for some reason. XD Moopyville is my hood, based on my old messenger name Moopy and Boneville. =D

No, make em' organic. Then we can finally have a legit excuse for blood and gore. xD Besides, we already have biomechanical in the MU, so a switch for a couple years would be fine by me. Not like we're losing the latter permanintly anyways. ;)

One problem: the sets would be totally inaccurate then, what with the tons of pistons and whatnot.

True... but would Lego really want to go through all the trouble to make them organic-looking? I dunno on that one, you have a good point... =P Still, though, I just want some change myself; after eight years of Bio-mechanical (don't get me wrong, I love it), I'd just like to see something different.

It wouldn't be good though if Mats tells everyone he is Mats and his whole story gets told. It has to be something more secret.

He needs a mysterious black cloak or a mask.

It works for Char Aznable, so it should work for Mata Nui.
