Wrinkledlion X Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 No, make em' organic. Then we can finally have a legit excuse for blood and gore. xD Besides, we already have biomechanical in the MU, so a switch for a couple years would be fine by me. Not like we're losing the latter permanintly anyways. ;) Biomechanical = Biological and mechanical Biomechanical beings can easily have blood and gore.
iLego94 Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 Ikki was actually my name as a boy scout -- we all got names from the Jungle Book for some reason. XD Moopyville is my hood, based on my old messenger name Moopy and Boneville. =D-Ikk Better than a kid in my troop nicknamed "Sunshine". Poor kid, all he ever did was smile XD ~iLeg094
Hydrobius Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 Biomechanical = Biological and mechanicalBiomechanical beings can easily have blood and gore. I know that... I was making a point about how Greg has always said that 'Bionicles don't have blood', even though they COULD bleed, IMO. I was just hoping we'd be finally able to say that they can bleed in-story. Even though he always said that, though, Spiriah made that quote in FoF that confirmed (at least, to me) that they DO have organs other than lungs: "No. Not even if you threw in the chance to eviscerate that Vortixx --" xD, I love that.
iLego94 Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 I doubt they would need blood. Blood comes from the heart, and Biomechanical beings have heart lights. But, they do need oxygen to survive, and they have lungs. I'm assuming that the conversion of oxygen to energy is a mechanical function of their body. BTW, does anybody else hate rapid share? I'm trying to download a fan made DVD of Terminator 2 3D (no, not pirated, a home video of the Orlando ride) and I have to use the stupid site, as the BitTorrent tracker for the file is down. Plus, half of the pieces of the DVD on Rapid Share are all corrupted versions of the same file, so it will take me about 10 more days to finish with disc 1. ~iLego94
Bfahome Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 Hey, I was thinking of making an alternate Skrall tribesman, with dark bley instead of red, Atakus head, GITD Atakus swords and a different body design....but your idea isn't bad either...also, thanks to the three heads we can build Glatorian and Agori with varied eye colours like humans!Shakar That sounds cool too. I bet at least one of them will be done. Biomechanical = Biological and mechanicalBiomechanical beings can easily have blood and gore. Trufax.

I have a dynamic IP, so I can download anything from Rapid without the wait after previous download. Also, I got many old Spawn spin-off issues from RapidShare that are not in torrent network (new ones I get via THe Pirate Bay, though - #187 was kick-megabloks cool). He needs a mysterious black cloak or a mask.It works for Char Aznable, so it should work for Mata Nui. Won't they mistake him for a Great Being, then?)) Edited January 3, 2009 by Tyranide

The Nightwing Reborn Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 -Metru Nui was vaguely, maybe referred to by Nokama, when she said that the Tohunga lacked a record of all that had come before.-Mata Nui's death I don't remember ever being alluded to... -Mata Nui being the universe was foreshadowed by the miners discussing a higher organic composition in the lower underground levels, akin to an ussal shell. The domes might be referenced in there, too. -Takanuva was kind of referenced. Vakama referred to Takua as a "hero that stands with the Toa" or something like that, but I think he wasn't intentionally insinuating anything... He said in regards to the Toa that he was "awaiting the arrival of another," but I believe it's been confirmed that that referred to one of the Toa Mata that hadn't washed up yet. -The Red Star was... Introduced. Besides it being present here I don't think anything was hinted at. -But yes, the Bohrok were all through it. There was also a stone in Le-Wahi that had "You wake one, you wake them all" written on it. Thanks Gunnar! I did not know about the higher organic composition or the stone in Le-Wahi. Now I am going to have to go play the game again... In addition to what others have said, here are some quotes from the Turaga, paraphrased:EDIT: Vakama's "I'm waiting for the arrival of another..." sounds to me too mysterious to just be referencing another Toa Mata. If this was something said by Greg, remember he wasn't involved at all in the MNOG. ;-) I'll see if I can find more. =P -Ikk Thank you as well Ikki, I also find it a bit to mysterious for the mata. Chef Hatchet Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 My Wal-Mart sucks. Went there today, they had about 15 Axalara sets (not on sale), 10 Rockoh sets, 5 Jetrax sets, some Takanuvas and a couple Vultraz sets, and an Onua Mistika hiding behind some Power Miners sets. They had TONS of 09 sets from other themes, but for whatever reason, NO GLATORIAN OR AGORI. I just realized Vorox has a tan Toa Metru chest armor piece. Very nice.

All but one of the toy stores that I went to over the year didn't have any summer titans apart from 1 or 2 Jetraxes and Axalaras that sold out right away. Yetrax failed to show (as it did in most countries), so I'm going to have to pay for the shipping of one online.
Pencoin Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 My TRU doesn't seem to have any new Bionicles (I rang up), I'm going anyway to get some Transformers. I got a £40 gift card to spend!
iLego94 Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 Just go there Pencoin, talking on the phone about specific items is hard unless they know about the item (which I doubt they know their Icarax from NeoShifters :P) BTW, I just got a Wacom Bamboo tablet w/ Photoshop elements, so I may be able to make some good art!! ~iLego94
Pencoin Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 I know, last time I ringed I knew cause it was (As I have dubbed him) Bio-Guy. But otday it wasn't, thats why I'm going anyway.
Antrozek Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 you're soo Lucky to get the Glatorian for January. I Have to wait to September for they Arrive
Pencoin Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 you're soo Lucky to get the Glatorian for January.I Have to wait to September for they Arrive Man LEGO sucks on other countries. Why does it take so long to get to where you are?
Antrozek Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 Man LEGO sucks on other countries. Why does it take so long to get to where you are? if i know..and worst..here in Argentina the Prices are megabluck*** higher A CANISTER SET COST 90 PESOS (30 USD)
iLego94 Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 Ulises said in his interview with me that he has problems getting his sets directly from LEGO. The country may just have a bad national shipping service. The dumbest thing I have heard is when Iggy reported that Denmark didn't have LEGO sets for sale the same time as the US. If LEGO is in Denmark and they can't ship to there, they have serious problems with customer shipping. ~iLego94
VBBN Posted January 3, 2009 Author Posted January 3, 2009 if i know..and worst..here in Argentina the Prices are megabluck*** higherA CANISTER SET COST 90 PESOS (30 USD) Wait, what? I thought $1=10 pesos. Valedico, The Gladiator VBBN
Antrozek Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 Wait, what? I thought $1=10 pesos.Valedico, The Gladiator VBBN i think you mistaked of country pesos. $1 = 3 Arg. Pesos
VBBN Posted January 3, 2009 Author Posted January 3, 2009 i think you mistaked of country pesos.$1 = 3 Arg. Pesos Aye, my mistake. I was thinking of the pesos I used when I went to Cancun. Does anyone else dislike the thumb in the middle of the hand? I think it is terrible myself.
Konnor Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 Aye, my mistake. I was thinking of the pesos I used when I went to Cancun. Does anyone else dislike the thumb in the middle of the hand? I think it is terrible myself. I don't like it when it's obvious, but it's fine when the hand has it so it is hard to see.
Shakar Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 September? Whoa. And I thought Italy wasn’t very lucky to get them in March. But really, I can’t complain at this point. BZP closed the Official Greg Discussion Dialogue ( ) for a week LOL. Not that I mind anyway, since I’m going to Ireland for almost a week so I won’t have access to my computer. Speaking of Ireland…what do you guys think my chances are of finding the Glatorian there? Shakar
Algernon Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 My Target had the most pathetic LEGO selection I've ever seen. The only 09 set they had was ONE Pirate set. Everything else was Bionicle vehicles that weren't on sale.
Hydrobius Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 I dunno, seems to me that ALL targets are just horrible with Bionicle... I've learned not to rely on the two that are near me. They ususally don't get new sets until they're released everywhere else a month afterwards... and besides, I've got a Walmart AND ToyRus that are closer, and the former always get's em' early, so I just go there.

My Target was the first to have the Agori in my area and now they have all of the Glatorian. It also has over seven Tuma.
