My Target was the first to have the Agori in my area and now they have all of the Glatorian. It also has over seven Tuma.

...then you're lucky. xD I went to mine today and they had about 10 Mistika, Jetrax/Yetrax, Axalara, and Takanuva. Of course, they had Power Miners, Pirates, and all that... but no new Bionicle. Haven't been to the other one.

Since no one has mentioned it yet here, there's a review of Tuma up on BZPower. And it once again proves that BZP is the single best place for bionicle set reviews.

September? Whoa. And I thought Italy wasn’t very lucky to get them in March. But really, I can’t complain at this point.

BZP closed the Official Greg Discussion Dialogue ( ) for a week LOL. Not that I mind anyway, since I’m going to Ireland for almost a week so I won’t have access to my computer.

Speaking of Ireland…what do you guys think my chances are of finding the Glatorian there?

Shakar

It is quite difficult since the sets are just coming out in England for what I heard. :sceptic: Good luck though.

I ordered the winter sets from S@H about 5 days ago...I can't wait.

UK TRU had nothing, they were in the back but they will not put them on shelves til they get rid of most LEGO sets, most of the 'LEGO Sets' were Knex, Megabloks and Playmobil. :hmpf_bad: No transformers either (Even thoguh they said they had the one I wanted.).

Wait, so they have them but they're not giving them to you? Just explain to them that you want to buy some of them, and you're not going to buy any other LEGO set or Knex or etc, so if they want to make a sale from you, they should go get the sets you want for you to buy. It's their loss on a sale if they don't, so unless they're really stupid employees, I can't see why they can't get a couple for you when you ask.

I might go back to Target, since they were supposed to get a big LEGO shipment in on New Years Day, and I'm going to hope to find some Agori.

I'll likely get Skrall, Malum, and Berix.

Speaking of Agori, the hands and feet are Metru yellow, right?

If so, I don't get why they went back to using it after bringing back Mata Yellow in Summer 08 was so popular.

I said that to them, they said they couldn't until TRU base had told thme they could sell them.

But it's 2009 already!? Some retailers make no sense.

Yep, this time last year I had all the canisters and Icarax and Iggy. The smallies didn't come out til Feb and I think Mutran came out with the Mistika.

I don't think I want to change my IP, my Dad might get upset (god knows why). Plus, I'm actually getting somewhere with the downloads. I think Bink is torturing us with the website :)

I got Axalara! Yay! Cooler (and bigger) than I anticipated.

Neither Kmart nor Wal Mart had any Glatorian though.

Is it just me, or is Target dumping Lego and Bionicle? I went their the other day insearch of castle, and the Glatorians, only to find that they had 1 bitil, and a few sparse lego sets. I heard an emplyee telling someone "We used to have lego in this aisle...."

I certainly hope not. >_<

We're not dumping LEGO, to do so would be stupid, because LEGO sells. Target has not done the big post-Christmas shelving reset yet. We don't restock the shelves as deep or as often prior to a huge reset. It makes everyone's jobs harder, or something. You'll notice that when Target resets, toy locations will have moved, some lines will shift aisles, etcetera, and after that, you won't see the stock get so low until right before the summer reset. It just so happens that TLG releases new sets groups around the same time Target stores nationally reset. You'll notice Wal*Mart shelving almost always does the same thing twice or more a year. I can count on both hands which aisles in my local Wal*Mart where the LEGO sets have been located throughout the past several years.

You most likely heard an employee say that because:

A- The LEGO aisles are almost all universally empty, as are the Transformers pegs, the SW pegs are very shallow, etc.

B- The LEGO aisle has moved recently.

LEGO has turned around and has become a very sought-after children's toy. Dumping them altogether would be a very terrible retail move, toy-wise. (It's why Wal*Mart Canada and TLG had such a stand-off. )

(Of course, neither Wal*Mart or Target sells the range of LEGO sets that Toys 'R' Us carries, because we move less LEGO product [because me move less toys in general] than toy stores do.)

As much as I love Andrew and Niki, you don't need to watch the video, as it's really just the two of them fawning over one another. It's not like the AWESOME Brickfair video review we made (I was the cameraman!).

I didn't have any problems downloading the video.

I didn't know you worked at Target, DV.

I've worked at a Super Target for the past two years as seasonal help. I work Christmases and summers. It is awesome. I get a yearly raise just like everyone else (and mine have been higher than the full-time employees I work with, as they are merit-based), have technical seniority, and because I work in the Starbucks (the Starbucks' inside Targets are owned and operated by Target Inc as licensed stores. We are therefore fully-Starbucks certified baristas, but we are hired, employed by, are paid by, and work for Target.)

odds are the reason target doesn't have any glatorian or agori, despite all the other 2009 sets, is because Bionicle is simply that much more popular then the other themes, and has existed a lot longer than some of the other themes, and as such has a larger fanbase, ie more people looking to buy them.
