Tyranide Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Hope that this "Where Legends are Made" isn't actual name of the movie. It can be a nice slogan (at least it's not as horrible as "Every legend has its beginning"!), but name... NO WAI. What are we supposed to do then? Pretend that news article doesn't exist? No, be ready to give leaked pics to everybody who asks)) The soundest strategy for BZP would be not admitting that leaked pictures exist.
Antrozek Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 hmm, in TOYWIZ we can actually PRE-order the 2009 summer sets that are named "LEGENDS" Saga. i hope that soon they will post set descrpiction so then we can now some of summer 2009 story from characters
hewkii9 Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Are you speaking of the Nom I'm thinking of? Nom the Sandgorgon from the Second Chronicles of Thomas Covenant the Unbeliever?
Ikki o' Moopyville Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 LoMN's early name was 'The Mask Maker' -- I doubt this'll be anything but a preliminary title, but if it's final, still cool. ^^ Oh, and XD at people calling me Izzy. -Ikk
Zarkan Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 ...?What are we supposed to do then? Pretend that news article doesn't exist? How is that news article hard to understand? The pictures in it are NOT leaked, which means they are allowed on BZP. However, the pictures from the dealers catalog are leaked, so they aren't alowed. They're two completely different sources.

I understand about the sets we haven't seen in legal form, but because there are now also legal images of half of the sets, the illegal images of those sets wouldn't hurt. There isn't anything on the leaked images that isn't in the legal ones. Personally, I think holding the leaked images from BZP for this long (longer with the Glatorian) is kind of futile, because it's not stopping the people they're trying to hide it from from finding it. If some rip-off toy manufacturer wants to copy the sets, there are plenty of ways for them to do it. The only people BZP stops is those that don't want to find the pictures.

Many people don't care to see the sets until they come out. ;) ~Bunda
Brickthing Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Exactly. Many people don't care to see the sets until they come out. ;)~Bunda Yes, but enforcing spoiler rules would be better than denying all discussion. It just makes more people go to other sites for new set info. Also, IMO it's a lot more fun guessing how things are built from the leaks than having it clear-cut and obvious in high-quality toyfair/official pictures.
Matsuoka Nui Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Bad news: Greg F confirmed that the title of BIONICLE 4: When Legends are Made.... isn't official.... :pir_bawling: Link:Evidence (scroll down a little and you'll see his reply....) Toa Mata Nui

Toa Mata Nui That's good news, even though we all knew it would change. "When Legends are Made" is too tacky.
Matsuoka Nui Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 That's good news, even though we all knew it would change. "When Legends are Made" is too tacky. Actually...I didn't like the title either....but I said "Bad News" for those who liked that title..... Toa Mata Nui
Brickthing Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Actually...I didn't like the title either....but I said "Bad News" for those who liked that title..... Toa Mata Nui Don't worry, I don't think anybody did. Good news about it though is that it proves it's a preliminary title, which in the past has given a different detail about the movie. Judging from this title, I presume we are going to see either some epic events, or some newbie character making a heroic action immortalising them in fame forever.

Brickthing Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Hmmm...I wonder who will that "Character" be.... Toa Mata Nui Not Mata Nui, he's already a legend. I'd think Gresh.
Matsuoka Nui Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Not Mata Nui, he's already a legend. I'd think Gresh. Rats!!!!!!!!!!!!! But I'd be surprise if it was him (Gresh)....but I was thinking that the "hero" might be Vastus (In case it wasn't Mata Nui)??? Toa Mata Nui
Brickthing Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Rats!!!!!!!!!!!!! But I'd be surprise if it was him (Gresh)....but I was thinking that the "hero" might be Vastus (In case it wasn't Mata Nui)??? Toa Mata Nui I though Vastus was a more experienced Gresh though? And I suspect that the summer Glatorian are the best of the best, hence their title "Legends" and the Skrall having an individual name of Stronius.
Matsuoka Nui Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Well I can't think of any other ideas...."Kansas"!!!(my way of saying I don't know, I say random states in the U.S) perhaps Strakk??? Tarix????? Malum???? (I'd be shock if it was him especially!!!!) Toa Mata Nui
Ikki o' Moopyville Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Why can't it just be a fancy name that refers to some important events? Mata Nui will likely get the central role either way, and most stuff of legends will prolly be carried out by him. -Ikk
Commander Andrew of 501 st Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Nom the Sandgorgon from the Second Chronicles of Thomas Covenant the Unbeliever? Nom nom nom Make that two now hewkii.
Lepaka Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Nom the Sandgorgon from the Second Chronicles of Thomas Covenant the Unbeliever? That was the Nom I was thinking of.
Tyranide Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Malum???? My thoughts exactly :D But I think this name refers to storyline importance of Bara Magna, not a character. The giant robot is lying on this planet, and this planet was a part of a bigger planet, what possibly could be more legendary?
InnerRayg Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 I think it's funny you guys haven't caught on yet how little the last eight years are going to be referenced in this movie.
Brickthing Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 I think it's funny you guys haven't caught on yet how little the last eight years are going to be referenced in this movie. As much as the BIONICLE team is trying to make a new start, they're still using the same techniques as they did in previous years, so our theories are still relevant.

More talking about how people will assume Mata-Nui is already a legend in the movie, and that they will even really explain what he is.
