Icesaber Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 What I meant was that if a Summer Set had the life counter piece, would you like it or not??? Or in other words, would you like to have a life-counter piece on the summer sets??? (hope this helps...) Toa Mata Nui Oh, in that case, I like if it's tucked away on the back like on Gresh. I don't mind it on places like Vorox's foot because though I think it's silly to put it somewhere like that, it usually gets us a recolored piece (like tan Metru chest) and it's easy to just pull off. So yes, I'm for it. ? lol!
VBBN Posted February 5, 2009 Author Posted February 5, 2009 Yay! Baby Zesk! Icesaber said: Oh, in that case, I like if it's tucked away on the back like on Gresh. Matsuoka Nui Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 ? Now that's what I call an Official Baby Zesk!!!! :thumbup: :thumbup: :laugh: :laugh: Could you make a comparison with the normal sized Zesk?? I like to see the differences..... Toa Mata Nui
ShaddowCroc Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 That baby Zesk is great. The sad part is, it looks like it has more pieces than the "normal" grown Zesk. Waaah.
Matsuoka Nui Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Not to mention the March Brickmaster model and possible exclusives. BTW, Cerix isn't correct. It's Glatorian Legends. Since when did we get an English name for any Bionicle Sets??? Glatorian Legends.....now that term sounds a bit too plain....I like the term Cerix better at least....(I don't mind legends either but using Glatorian again is a bit well...different... some Matoran Terms... 2008: Phantoka, Mistika 2007: Barraki, Mahri 2006: Piraka, Inika 2005: Hordika, Visorak 2004: Metru, Vahki 2009: Glatorian, Glatorian Legends???? Couldn't it just be simply Legends??? (sarcasm- Like always, people are going to like that term (or some idea that I at first disagree on) and then I'll be convinced to like it too as soon as I see a few posts....- sarcasm) Oh and lastly, is it just me or did those tan pieces (on the feet via Baby Zesk) don't match the original Zesk?? Toa Mata Nui
Brickthing Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Cerix was just a misreading of the blurred Legends label. It already seems to be used by a number of other brands as well, such as watches and the Second Life game engine. So there's no way it could be used. As for the English title, we've never had that before, so it's possible that they might come up with a new title derived from the word "legends" just as Glatorian is derived from Gladiator and Phantoka is derived from Phantom.

But the thing is, it would be so much better marketing-wise to call them Legends than some nonsensical made-up word like Mistika. Everybody wants the super powerful Glatorian Legends, but I'm not so sure about the "NEW from BIONICLE: Legstika!". And anyways ToyWiz lists the new sets as Glatorian Legends, so I guess it's confirmed. Edited February 5, 2009 by Illari

Yeah, that's probably most likely because they'd be trying to promote them the most in the film, and the current story setting wouldn't really explain another 6 person faction/team. Ikki o' Moopyville Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 (edited) Glatorian Legends is the best series name since ever. It doesn't force a cheesy story explanation like the Phantistika, it's snap-simple and easy to remember, and it sounds excellent and very Bionicle. Especially after so many years of made-up words. It also means we will have only one canister 'race' this year -- only the summer ones are more Legendary. =D -Ikk Edited February 5, 2009 by Ikki o' Moopyville

However, I agree with you on the other points, and I like it. I just hope it won't be shortened to just "Legends" too often.
Tyranide Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Seeing as we've never had an English title name before, I don't see how you consider it BIONICLEish... "Legend" is the most overused word in Bionicle Universe.))
Algernon Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 "Legend" is the most overused word in Bionicle Universe.)) There are a LOT of overused words in Bionicle, but "legend" definitely takes the cake.
Brickthing Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 "Legend" is the most overused word in Bionicle Universe.)) True, but Legends doesn't exactly scream BIONICLE straight away to anybody does it?
Wrinkledlion X Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 There are a LOT of overused words in Bionicle, but "legend" definitely takes the cake. Uh, "Great?"
Algernon Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 Uh, "Great?" Yes, that's what I was thinking of.

Brickthing Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 "New from BIONICLE: Great Glatorian!"~Bunda Alliteration + Cheesy narrator = How about Glatorian Nuva or Glatorian Kal? I wanna storyline excuse for that!
Konnor Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 That baby Zesk is great. The sad part is, it looks like it has more pieces than the "normal" grown Zesk. Waaah. Well, people loose bones when they get bigger, the same sadly applies to the Zesk.
VBBN Posted February 6, 2009 Author Posted February 6, 2009 Mata Nui->Destiny Relies on Toa Nuva->Becomes Toa->Needs Name->Nuva->Glatorian Nuva.
Matsuoka Nui Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 Glatorian Nuva??? I wouldn't be surprised though I wonder if the "rule of energized protodermis" plays the same for Glatorian. (If a Glatorian is destined...they'll transform...if not, destruction...etc...) Or maybe Mata Nui uses the Ignika...on the five other characters.....(A random guess....I guessing that the other five were statues and MN uses the Ignika to make them come to life...????) If that's true...that would be awesome....!!! Now that reminds me on the Piraka Animations when the Toa Inika were inside these statues and a separate hatch would opened at a time...(though they actually escaped the MU to find the Toa Nuva on Voya Nui...back in 06..) Toa Mata Nui
