Lepaka Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 The titans are out in NZ already? I really need to go shopping more often...
Brickthing Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 Well, I just got back from the Farmers in Albany with all 6 Glatorian. The Farmers and Toys r fun in Albany don't have the 09 Titans, (TrF doesn't have any 2009 ) but The Warehouse and Kmart has both Titans, for their nasty price of $45.
Phantoka_Chirox Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 BUNDA YOUR'RE SO SO SOOO LUCKYYYY AAARGHHH!
Holy Diver Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 That was an excellent serial update. It was short, bloody, and didn't use too many confusing plot points.
Zarkan Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 (edited) As others have said, the new serial chapter was excellent. While I'm also a fan of the serials which gives tons of new revalations about the Bionicle universe, a chapter focused almost completely on emotions and battling is fine with me. The lack of dialogue always makes Greg's writing better. Because his dialogue has always been terrible. I agree with you - to a point. The comic dialogue has been fairly terrible in the last few years, although I'm betting it's more TLC's fault than his. However, it has improved by miles with the first comic of 2009, and that's not even counting the dialogue in the books, which I've always felt has been fine. It mainly has to do with the fact that the books generally have far less "witty" banter than the comics, which helps a ton. Edited February 12, 2009 by Grevious

Satellite Jack Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 (edited) Good job with getting that Bunda! Though I must ask: you said it was a different shade then Carapar armor, but can you still use them together? Will they match? 'Cause if not, I don't see what other pieces you could use for an MOC with that... EDIT: Except those rockin' Krika claws! Edited February 12, 2009 by Satellite Jack

Brickthing Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 Grargh new combo for old sets on Lego naw. Whar are the Glatorian combos? I suspect it isn't a new combo, just one that nobody got round to finding, or TLG never got round to revealing. Maybe even they had it uploaded and such, but decided not to use it after all. Maybe next Brickmaster? Oh, and if anyone has the Voya Nui font posted a few weeks ago, could someone repost it or find me a link? I've searched up for it many times and yet I can't find it. ._. Thanks. [-The Alchemyst-] It is in the topic here somewhere, check around the 21st of January, because that's when my version of the file says I downloaded it (I think).

ShaddowCroc Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Some interesting stuff about the movie: http://www.earthtimes.org/articles/show/bi...he,716222.shtml. Evidently Mata Nui's gonna be played by some dude named Micheal Dorn. Never heard of him, but his IMDB page has a few interesting credits . . . (And the way the latter half of '09 story sounds is very awesome. And Mata Nui is described as the ruler of a lost empire or something. Really, really epic, man.)
Lepaka Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 The movie sounds epic. I also got my first Glatorian today! Yay Strakk!
