Skrall is super-useful 'cause he has a sort of extension of effect that makes it so that his shield attack hits even though it doesn't touch the opponent. Unfortunately, this also makes hitting him that much easier.

I kick some serious megablocks with Skrall, actually. Got all the way to silver... just kept beefing up my strength. xD Now that I have played the game, I can finally say: Spikeball is just overly hard and irritating; the Zesk IS adorable, and Skrall is the best areana character to play with, IMO. Now, I just want two things:

An actual video-game version of this - a Storyline version, for Bara Magna, then a multiplayer version that takes place with 3D combat in the Arena Magna. It'd be awesome, with good graphics, decent fighting, etc. I'll keep dreaming. :P

The other is the summer update. I just want to play as Stronius. ;_; He looks as if he could just break everyone else in half.

It's not actually that hard. You just run straight towards the opposite post and bash space like crazy most of the time. :classic:

I got the new Lego Club Magazine! The comic isn't Day Of The Skrall, it's 'The Fall Of Atero'. Here's the summary -

Strakk and Tarix are practicing together in preparation for the Arena Magna match tomorrow. Meanwhile, Gresh is practicing alone while Tarduk watches. Malum then comes from the shadows with a pack of Vorox, but reassures Gresh that he is here to help. Malum says that a 'storm' is coming extremely soon, and that Gresh should run while he still can, then leaves. The next day, Metus, Berix, and Raanu are sitting, and they check outside to see if the Skrall are coming. As they look, they see an entire army of Skrall marching towards Atero. Strakk, Gresh, Tarix, and Raanu help get people out, and escape the crumbling Arena Magna with their lives. They set up a camp in the wastelands, and discuss how the Agori are scattered through the desert. Tarix mentions that they lost at least a dozen Glatorian in the fight, and that there seems to be little hope left. Afterwards, the blue Glatorian says they need help - 'the kind with a sword'.

No Sand Stalker instructions for me. The rest of the magazine is just Power Miners and that stuff, but on the back it shows an awesome new TIE Fighter for Darth Vader. Oh yeah, the back of the comic shows an image of the new movie.

I'll get pictures and stuff up later, so if you have any more questions, ask me.

Sounds like I'd better tweak my Fan-Fic a bit (when I make chapter 6)...I had some other ideas but this changed it a lot...

Does the Raid of Vulcanus (the 1st novel for this year) comes after????

Posted

I would assume that the raid Of Vulcanus comes after, because it makes no mention of it in the comic, so it probably does.

Scans will be up after my Dad is out of his meeting.

Oh great, now all the BIONICLE characters are fugitives both in the MU and on BM. Mata Nui better hurry up and finish his space cruise. :hmpf_bad:

Enjoy. Sorry for the choppy edges and such, but I wanted to share it with you guys quickly. Also, if the text at the top of some pages is cut off, it's not my fault. The comic came that way.

Skull - Read it and find out!

you make me very happy

the agori in page 12 looks like he's wearing Gelu's mask

Thanks for the scans Mizzeh :classic:. Sounds like Mata nui arrives in the next comic.

He arrives at the end of the next book, which the next comic continues from.

Looks like Metus' to me.

Good comic. Still high-ish quality.

So Strakk's ax is a boomerang? (cover)

And in a lot of the shots Raanu has the wrong arms.

No problem. Yeah, I'm anxious to see Mats..

*collapses from the amount of BShelf uploading*

ZIP your files next time. Then upload the ZIPped folder. Brickshelf automatically unzips ZIP files, so you'll have uploaded all the images at once. It's how I always upload multiple images on Brickshelf.

Thanks for the scan! :classic:

The first sentence of the last page seem to sum up the movie pretty well: "Your Favourite BIONICLE Toys come to Life in the Brand New Movie!" :hmpf_bad:

The comic itself is very good, and the dialogue is quite appropriate, only hinting of cheesiness during the arena fights, when it's ok to shout cheesy lines.

It's payback time!! Mata Nui Style!!!! (I can't believe that one moment, Atero was still there, now it's gone!!!)

Now I'm mad at the Skrall for sure (except for Skralla via my story)

I like how it says "A Legend Reborn" since we all know what that means.....(I wonder if we will find out the origins of the Glatorian Legends...not counting MN....)

That was an amazing comic. I loved all of the generic Agori around, but there were no generic Glatorian :(.

The writing was superb, and definitely some of Greg's best. And the story was so amazing and devastating. It sorta reminds me of Ta-Koro being destroyed in MoL . . . It also showed a lot more of the character's personalities and such. Bara Magna is THE GREATEST story we've ever had in BIONICLE.

IMO, the generic Agori in this comic were good, but they could've been better. On the panel showing the Agori working in their village, there was Tarduk, Raanu, Atakus and 2 Metuses (Meti? :sceptic: ) working on houses in the picture.

Sands of Bara Magna: "NEXT ISSUE: DAY OF THE SKRALL"

lolwhut?

Maybe Day of the Skrall wasn't entirely appropriate, because the Skrall's conquer of Atero wasn't glorious-conquer-by-the-horde, it was goriness-'cause-they-were-bored. Day of the Skrall suggests that the Skrall were doing the right thing, whereas Fall of Atero seems more appropriate.

Man, fantastic comic. It's kinda sad that this battle for Atero was more exciting than any battle in the comics last year, which were supposed to be fantastic because of the whole 'Final Battle' stuff...
