And then there's his drinking problem to support...

Gresh- Pretty cool, like the colours and the mask looks decent Malum- Boring. I like red characters, but there isn't really anything to excite me in this guy. Skrall- Pretty awsome, like the weapon, shield and head. Will probably get him if they don't make many modifications to the final set. Strakk- Again, very cool. Not much more to say. Tarix- Wow, a blue guy i actually like the look of! Looks like a proper gladiator Vorox- Hmm, undecided. Will have to see what the final set looks like before i can make proper judgement Atakus- Fantastic. Put it into preduction NOW lego. Berix- Not too keen. Mask looks weird and too many old parts. Metus- Very cool (awful pun i know) liking the look of the shield, but blurry picture, so can't say anything more for now Raanu- Undecided. The shield looks odd Tarduk- Interesting to say the least, hopefully they change the mask a little though Zesk- Too blury a picture to make comment.

As someone already pointed out, it sounds too much like "Tumour" and i guess some accents with emphasise that. 2. Another Bionicle named after a Maori God? Oh dear.....

And the Glatorian sets look great as well, excluding Metus, (freaky mask, might look better when he get pics) Atakus, (annoying proportions, hideous mask, again, he might be better than he looks) Malum, (BORING) and Tuma. (a freaking mess of parts, can't tell limb from limb, boring and thoroughly revolting at the same time. Maybe a bit better in real life, but I don't think I'll ever find any love in my heart for this guy. Some lovely parts, though.) But for the most part 2009 looks great. I haven't been this optimistic about new sets since the Barraki, and they didn't disappoint. BTW, despite appearances, probably not many people changed their minds about [insert new set line]. It's just different people talking. When the pics first appear, the loud, angry people vent, and by the time they come out, the quieter happy people are discussing. JINZONINGEN73 Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 I still hate the Toa Mistika, perhaps even WORSE now that I've seen review pics of them. Well, the HEROES anyway. All 3 bad guys are great parts sets, of which I had little doubt at any time. I do agree that Tuma is a decent set (again, as parts) and it's a decent enough action figure to reel in the fanboy kiddies. I just like... I have nothing bad to say about 2009. I'm not seeing anything I consider a terrible mistake or "unfortunate" in any way. And christ... I didn't even feel like that with 2001! The only thing uncertain is if other content (shitty movie, books or comics) might detract from the experience. But from the standpoint of just looking at these 2009 set pics... mighty Hades things are looking GREAT!

He's solid, got nice colours, and has a sword, gun, and back fin-things which totally make me think Gundam.

I agree with Jinzo it could be spoilt by the other media. How can you say Tuma looks anything like a Gundam? Tuma is horrible, I mean look at the 'wings' god or not they look really odd on him and look at the feet on his legs they don't look sturdy at all and look really odd.

Anyways, though overall he looks a bit dull, I'll probably buy Tuma for two reasons: -Good pieces (Head, green Skrall-swords) -First true Maori name in years (We must support it!) Also, has it occurred to anyone that Skrall's shield has a labyrinth-pattern on it? Perhaps the underground village is styled similarly to the Labyrinth of Greek Mythology?
