Icesaber Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 Okay, so the only pilot with any storyline info is Crotesius, who is an Agori? Who are the Kaxium drivers? I'm guessing Perditus (Thornatus) is a Glatorian? Sahmad (Spikit) a rock Agori? What about Telluris (Skopio)? Bone hunter? Bone hunters are cousins of the rock Agori, no the Skrall, I think.
The Crazy One Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 Bone hunters are cousins of the rock Agori, no the Skrall, I think. No, I am 100% sure they are cousins of the Skrall.
S-N Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 Some sack of cr@p called 'mignulikz' just sent me a message with a link in it, stating that it's important. XD Do spammers seriously think we're that stupid?Anyway, The Crossing is lame and Greg needs to hurry up on the serials or I'm temporarily quitting Bionicle. How is The Crossing lame? It gives us nice story tidbits.
---Vertea--- Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 How is The Crossing lame? It gives us nice story tidbits. Very true! If it seems lame, it's only 'cause those storys are written for a younger audience. We're kinda like an exception to the rule that most older kids and adults don't generally like toys. So remember to enjoy it for what it is, like S-M here and just relax

Also, Ackar is the oldest Glatorian alive.
Phantoka Kopaka Nuva Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 Apparently, Desert of Danger (the 3rd level-3 reader) is out now. The artwork is amazing, and finally Mata Nui talks! Some also said that the vehicle Metus was riding in the book resembles the Thornatus. And I remembered that Greg said bone hunters are related to the Rock Agori, not the Skrall.
Icesaber Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 No, I am 100% sure they are cousins of the Skrall. BS01 disagrees with you. "They are not of the same species as the Rock Agori, but distantly related to them." Ah well, doesn't really matter in the long run. Metus should ride something like the Cendox, not Thornatus IMO.

I have just made myself the biggest EB moron ever! ...ah, well. So when do we get any word on the movie?

But anyways, The Crossing seems to be aimed at the same level as the serials for some reason. It could just be me thought. =/

It could just be me thought. =/ I think the artwork is interesting. The sand-bat has a Chirox mask for a face which makes total sense. And Metus is indeed driving what looks like a Thornatus. http://www.flickr.com/photos/10351148@N02/

Anyway, the artwork look great, and the quote about the Thornatus looking like a vehicle made of thrown together vehicle parts seems to suggest that Greg doesn't like the Thornatus that much. Somebody should ask him 'bout that!

Somebody should ask him 'bout that! No, he said that because Agori can't really create anything. They can only patch things together. And when Greg wrote the story, he just said "vehicle", he didn't know that the artist was going to use the Thornatus set.

Some of them look the same to me.....(Wow MN looks fantastic!!!!)

Brickthing Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 Are these pics in the right order??? Some of them look the same to me.....(Wow MN looks fantastic!!!!) They're not, and thanks to Vert they're not in the correct orientation either. I think the correct flow of story is that Mata Nui finds himself in the desert, then encounters Metus in the Thornatus, then they ride towards a village, only to encounter the sand-bat, which Mata Nui manages to defeat with sunlight from his "sword".

Well, at least some pics are better than none....but man, I can't stand those messed up orientations!!!! ....(I'm too lazy to download those pics and then fix the orientation....) Maybe Metus (based on some spoilers from a while back....) will ask Mata Nui to see if he can defeat the Bone Hunters and the Skrall...where is that info. by the way???

I think the synopsis of the Legend Reborn movie was pretty much that Mata Nui helps the locals in their fight against the Skrall after surprisingly coming out victorious from a Skrall fight. I think Metus probably just takes him back to the Agori/Glatorian camp out at the end of the reader, that's all. Thinking about Mata Nui beating a Skrall, I hope the movie reason for him doing so is that he uses Ignika powers, because aside from those, he's got nothing going for him that Glatorian don't have better. He's got no experience in fighting or with Skrall, nor does he have a stronger incentive to defeating the Skrall than a Glatorian of Bara Magna does.

Assuming that the Ignika can function its curses outside the MU, that would be very amusing to see the Skrall getting cursed....imagine that...!!! I can just see it......MN using the Ignika to create a monster of sand...... That would make the Skrall fear him....(hopefully)
Toa Rodimus Ignika Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 Or, like in my version, he gets taught how to fight by Tarix and Ackar. And then he still uses his mask.
Krekka01 Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 Does anyone else think that perhaps whenever Toa Mata-Nui (in rare cases) gets very angry, his Ignika would turn black momentarily, his eyes turn from bright sky blue to blood red and somewhat loses control of his Mask of Life? Like this: That would be the bomb! :D
---Vertea--- Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 I'll remove it if you like. Nope! It's my mistake and I gotta learn to be more careful with questions. Let it serve as a hilarious reminder of what can happen when one gets lazy.

VBBN Posted April 5, 2009 Author Posted April 5, 2009 It's like asneeze- Your heart momentarily stops, so in his case, he temporarily dies?
Toa Rodimus Ignika Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 I'd say his mask would start glowing and crackling energy is zapped at random places.
