Jetfire- "Itchy, wretched rust in my aft/megablocks/big behind!" That made me laugh.

It seems the of all the Bzpower entries, only Bunda's seems superior.

Jetfire's gonna be awesome. I LOVE that Blackout is back.

Agreed. I really like Bunda's, but the gunmetal should definitely be something else.

While six is a good moc, I don't really like all the silver and spikes. Not very fitting for Certavus, I think. Nine is very good, though. Good colors and design.

Do any of you recommend Zesk? The helm looks cool and he looks nice standing there, but I'm not a fan of posing problems. If I were to get him, he would be my last Agori (not counting the vehicles) as I have no interest in Tarduk or Raanu.

Everyone needs Zesk.

The customness of Bunda's is nice, as well as the weapon, but the colour scheme is so whacked up. It's white, black and blue down the bottom, white black and gunmetal in the middle, and the head and crystals make it white, blue, light blue and trans-blue up the top.

Very true.

Exactly what I think.

The Gunmetal really throws it off.

I'd rather have Cholie's or Brickeens win this one.

I didn't vote for either of those... ever.

What I don't get is how I lost in the prelims, somehow got to the semis, wildcarded into the finals, and now I'm winning against two MOCs (???) that beat me in the prelims.

The polls are so planned I don't know why the BS01 staff didn't just select the winner...

Edit @ TMN: I think Swert said the 23rd.

The art contest is on the 25th. I think Antrozek and I will be rivals... But I need to find a way to get my drawings on here, I have movie concepts of RoTF, Bionicle and Mata Nui.

Vertea, Blackout surprised me too, and I'll send you my newly updated chapter on Prime vs. The trio in the forest.

I'm not sure how, but Ultra Magnus got in there.

BTW, where the aft is Jinzo?

Does anyone know when the winner will be announced?? :sceptic: A lot of the Certavus MOCs were great but a few like Bunda's were just perfect... :classic::thumbup:

Polls will close the 23rd.

Not true. You wildcarded into the semis, then dominated your way to the finals.

And you'd be surprised how not-stacked it actually was. Only the first poll was a smidge.

Art contest does indeed start the 25th.

Woooooart.

[-The Alchemyst-]</div>

I think getting rid of the gunmetal would help, but I do honestly think that Bunda's best embodies Certavus. I think Metus's helm might've been better, but Berix works too.

Brickeens I dislike for a couple of reasons. The helm doesn't look that great (nice try for a custom one but doesn't work). All the spikes don't fit Certavus. And the sword seems a little too heavy for Certavus.

I guess Zesk shall be mine.

Oh, that's right. I got the 'somehow' and 'wildcard' mixed up.

Out of interest, what do you guys think that LEGO plans to do with the winning BBCC53 Robot? The specifications seem really specific, but it's annoying that they don't tell us what it's for, so we could just be hit and missing for the type of robot that they actually want.

Also, how are your entries going if you're entering? Mine are going well I think. :classic:

Mine's pretty good for now, but I really need to make some decent feet. Also, I have to reinforce his hips so he doesn't fall over due to his torso weight. Oh, yes-he's big.

Zzzzz... *wakes up*

Huh what

Haven't been paying too much attention to BIONICLE 2009 except that it looks like a re-do of BIONICLE 2000.

But I must say that The Vorox and Skrall are cool and that why does this guy sound like Takua from MNOG? I must actually try this thing and see more of him.

But the only thing that might make me really interested in 2009 is a return of purple to sets. But that's not going to happen.

What? No comments on mine? boooo... >(

Honestly I can't see any of them being Certavus, it just feels wrong. All of them have major flaws. Bunda's colors I don't like, Brickeen's and its horrible helmet and spikes, Cholie's with its horrible... design, mine doesn't look anything like a model Lego would make, GBG's is huge, the others I can't even remember. x___x Oh wait, #9 is good, but the design just wouldn't fit with Lego's. And then BZP is divided into half with one side wanting a more "canon" appearance and the other wanting a more creative and less needing to look "canon" Honestly I think mine is the only to represent that mind-over-matter quote thing, but I dunno it isn't very canon looking. >>

However this is coming from the kid who made a Toa team with a slug, a drone, and a lobster/praying mantis on it. <<;

Horribly. All I have are the legs, feet, and beginnings of the hips.

Mine have that problem as well, because it'll make them unnessecarily bulky to have leg reinforcements. I figure if it is possible to have it standing up, no matter how hard it is to keep it like that, it should be fine. I might also need to invest in trick-photography, but I doubt it would help much.

As for the Certavus poll, it's amazing how a News mention can affect the poll. Votes have skyrocketed to over 700, and entry number 1 is second all of a sudden, and 10 has fallen behind.

Guess it shows the Lego people knew what they were doing with the silver sets then :P

Your entry looks perfectly canon; people are nincompoops. They'd call half the sets the Lego team created uncanon if they could.

It may not use a Metus helmet, but neither did Bunda's. And honestly, just because it has Metus's helmet doesn't make it Metus. Would you call Ackar Berix?

#10 looks ridiculous as a smart fighter in a barren world. What's he going to do, tap-dance dodge? The only thing that looks oriental is the hat. I like this as a MOC, but not as Certavus. People need to realize that this is not a "best-looking MOC" contest. It's one to decide which has the best character to fit Certavus.

Actually, I was under the impression that's -exactly what he would do-. Certavus is all about fighting smart, not using Brute Force. The smartest fighters use their opponent's momentum against them.

personally I think number nine and number ten are the best ones

Sadly due to a lack of account that I can use on BZP voting for either is impossible.

I agree on nine, but 10 is just... Too out of place respect the other Glatorian. However it's a really good creation.
