Initial Thoughts:

Wow, Tuyet really is wacked up.

The OoMN had/has bases in other dimensions?

Tuyet spent thousands of years being tortured, then thousands of years travelling through (and probably demolishing) other universes?

Botar could dimension hop? I thought he could only 'port!

Teridax can detect another Makuta but fails to recognise that it's him?

Mata Nui robot has some kind of laser-heat-vision or mega-fire-bombs or something that can vaporise the EO. icon10.gif

And the Red Star seems to be some kind of transportation assistant to Mata Nui - Teridax claimed he needed to signal it when he wanted to leave the EO. Considering it can't be as big as Mata Nui, I reckon it's his space helmet. :sweet:

What's worse is that he wants to kill MN... :cry_sad: :cry_sad: :cry_sad: (I'd better change my name soon....LOL!!)

Anyway I think that RoS is probably one of the better serials than some other ones.....I mean, DW, DID, TB, and all of those others were great but this....this is getting "dark", "epic" and "mysterious"....

I wonder what Teridax would think if he sees MN as a toa...(probably he'll just say...wow...he's no threat to me...)

That Clone Tueyt and the Original one reminds me of Tsubasa with the Clone Syaoran and the Real Syaoran...

The thing is that Terry doesn't even know Ignika can form a body for itself or MN. So that might be an advantage to MN, since Makuta is just expecting the mask to be laying around somewhere.

I'd be fine with 1 if we could call all that silver armor and weapons "ceremonial weapons after retirement".

It just looks silly with all that silver otherwise.

Dunno if anyone can pull a win now though. =/

26 votes... And already over a 1000 have voted.

N, what I don't like about your Certavus too much is that although the fighting style may be Certavus, with minimal weapons, the looks, with the bo and hat gives it an Oriental feel, while this year we have all theses Latin roots and Gladiators.

I think that's the same problem I have with Bunda's. That's a sexy weapon, but that and the gunmetal throw me off from the old Roman stuff.

It's not to say the other MOCs are perfect, by all means no, but I'm personally rooting for Brickeens now, seeing that he Bunda and whoever made 1 are the only ones who stand a chance at winning now.

Unless there's suddenly a huge biased turnout. :P

Latest RoS was great.

True, true, but still Terry would be more than happy to kill him....and that's what annoys me....MN has done nothing wrong to the Makuta...but since they were well..."not honored" for their works....based on what Krika said in TFB....but still....

Edit: not to mention taking care of himself.... :sceptic:

I can't wait to see if the white terry fights against his shadow self....that would be quite epic to see them fight!!! (I mean physically fight...not just black terry using his powers in a snap...similar to how he fought against Miserix back then...)

I wonder what would happen if white terry took over....or tuyet.....anyone got ideas??? theories???

Dear god... what a horrible chapter. -_- The two worst things in Bionicle, Tuyet and dimension-hopping, blended together in another nonplot chapter. Blargh. And Makuta is as annoying as ever.

Only neat thing was the Red Star. Thank the heavens for Bara Magna.

Entry number one is winning in the Cert contest because of 4/20.

I'm enjoying listening to all the accusations of fraud in the Certavus voting.

Not saying that they're not necessarily true, as they may have some merit. How exactly did Entry 1 pull from an also-ran to leader by a (for this poll) large margin?

Too much silver. Ugh.

I was thinking of alternate helms for Certavus and I thought if the Kaxium Bros' helm was smoothed where it's ribbed, those ear things pushed in a little, and the back Halo part filled in, it might look fitting for Certavus (in blue or white of course!). What say you?

I wish those new joints on Vastus/Kiina had been available from the beginning of the year. Malum could use them on his upper arms. Maybe Strakk too.

Brickeens' has a bucket head. And spikyness. And general "bwuht?"ness IMO. Not as bwuht as #1 though.

Maybe Strakk too.

Are you out of your trees, sir?

Then Malum would have had the ape arms people are always harping about, and Strakk… wouldn't have shoulders.

I dunno, having sideways icicle shoulders would make Strakk look better from the back and sides. :sceptic:

Light version Teridax better have a proper showdown with his dark counterpart or else I'm gonna lose it.

and I hope this Certavus voting ends quick. you can figure out why yourself

Unfortunately Teridax wouldn't see the point in bothering to make himself a MU scale incarnation to have a proper fight with himself. He'd rather destroy himself in the most gruesomely ironic way possible.

As for Certavus, I think it ends on the 23rd. Chances are number 7 will come out second with the rate that the polls are changing scales.

Meh, I did not like RoS since the beginning and I don't like it now. It's a useless serial with no plot that only serves to show us pointless attempts at overthrowing Teridax that will never work because I doubt the storyteam would let such an important event happen in a serial and not in the main story. So, to keep things 'interesting', Greg has to resort to horrid plottwists, such as Tuyet, dimension hopping and the like. God I hate Tuyet. I would have prefered it if she really was dead and was now in some painful undead state or somethin and that she would have to do a good deed before finally be able to rest. But noooo, Greg just had to change the whole ending of The Many Deaths of Toa Tuyet, and mess with Into The Darkness' side plot as well. Jeez.

I don't really blame Greg for this, since he has a serial to write in which nothing can happen so he has to do something with it, but still...

I do like White Teridax, though, as a character, even though he's a dimension hopper as well. But you can count on it he'll die in a lame way and won't even have had any use to the story, just like Miserix, who believes he's a freaking painting. Let's root for the killing of Tuyet, though.

All in all, worthless serial for an uninteresting universe. Thank the great beings we have Empire of the Skrall and Riddle of the Great Beings, which at least shed some light on more interesting and important-to-the-real-story matters.

I have to almost totally disagree with this. Although the dimension hopping is getting annoying, this time it actually served up an interesting plot twist, and it brought back a character that I enjoy (unlike you). Also, how exactly is Makuta annoying? He's the king of the Matoran universe now, so it's not suprising that he's now a bit more over the top and self confident. It's not unusual for a villian to become a real ham after he wins his ultimate victory, and IMO, it works fine in this case. (Then again, I'm also one that really enjoyed the Emperor in Starwars Episodes III and VI for the same reason).

Ah, the peaceful agreement in this topic could only last for so long.

You know, thinking about the alternate dimensions made me realize that those big robot pieces on Bara Magna are simply the remains of an alternate Mata Nui who crash-landed on Bara Magna and died there.

Oh no, he has a purpose. He's a red herring designed to make whatever solution does work seem even better. Like 10.2's gun, the warp star, and the Osterhagen Key in Doctor Who [all the same episode]. They're all things introduced in the story that could end it, but they're idly pushed aside once it's time for Donna to solve all the problems. This makes us go 'woah this is awesome' and not really realize how quickly the giant menace was dealt with until later.

It could work if we were all ten/don't watch Doctor Who.

On the bright side, despite it's twists and turns, RoS seems to be indirectly explaining why Teridax won't show up halfway through The Legend Reborn and smash Bara Magna to a pulp - he's to busy crushing the wacky rebellions going on inside him.

What's that supposed to mean? Maybe Strakk's upper arm armor would look better if attached from the side.

ewwwwwww

You're probably right.

It's a quote from Clifford (NOT the big red dog) that basically means, Are you crazy? =P

Honestly I see nothing wrong with the way Strakk's armor is attached now, and if it was on the side there would be an insanely large and unsightly gap on the side of his arm. Of course, if they designed him that way, the piece would probably be shaped differently...

Lol at Clifford, loved Norman Birdwell's story.

Anyways, what is the criteria for the art?

We posted it on the front page and all the kids who don't pay much attention to stuff went and voted. And they love silver, why do you think the Mistika did so well?

I got it the Baterra are a doomsday weapon

Hi Greg

1) So the Baterra are eliminating everyone who thought in the ep war correct? Also if that is correct did The Great beings create the Baterra to kill everyone who thought in the war because they didnt like the war or because they wanted to keep to the war a secret?

1a) Do the Great Beings,Glatorian, Agori communicate with anyother species?

Thats all for now and thanks for your time.

1) The baterra are a doomsday weapon. Unable to stop the war by any other means, the GBs unleashed them to kill any armed combatant.

1a) Such as who?
