Hey, has anyone noticed that there are Legend Reborn images at the top of the boxes?

Yup, they did that for the other movies as well. I hope that all the vehicles feature a reasonable amount in the movie, and that their drivers get to be distinguished characters as opposed to the vehicle getting all the fame and the driver being an add-on.

wtf? Cenock? What happened to Cendox?

Well these newer images show some new things... Kaxium can separate, Telluris is awesome, the Spikit actually isn't looking all that bad anymore, and Kiina looks pretty menacing in her new canister. :D

I'm super excited for these summer sets... they seem like they'll be as good as the regular Glatorian at least. Yaaaay!

It's just misspelled, it still says Cendox on the actual box art.

And I hope Click is iconic like a certain Mr Round

I've got to say, the summer 2009 bionicle box art is possibly the best we've ever had. The images are amazingly polished and shiny, the colors are vibrant, and the backgrounds are drool-worthy. That art is even making Baranus look decent!

Oops! I thought it said Cendock on the box....

OH haha they misread it (and so did I xD). It totally looks like Cenock because the D, O, and X look like O, C, and K respectively. Haha Lego's blocky print causing minor confusion yet again xD

Also what is up w/ all the swooshes everywhere? UDD symbol, Voya Nui, Mata Nui's armor, CLICK, etc. Obviously it must be important, because it's freaking everywhere.

Mata Nui is as glorious as ever, a definite first buy for me.

Stronius looks like a troll with that club.

Gelu is nice, but I'm not looking forward to him as much as Mata Nui, Stronius, or Ackar.

Vastus is good, but I'm not liking how his launcher is positioned on his scythe.

Ackar is easily reminicent of the simpler sets of olde. Everything about this set just works for me.

Kiina looks like some sort of ancient sea goddess with that trident.

The vehicles just don't seem to fit in with the Bara Magna setting except for Baranus V7 and Skopio. I'm more comfortable seeing chariots being pulled by two headed monsters than motorized vehicles.

Oh god.

It really does looks like Stronius has Mata Red. D: Variety please!

Mata Nui: Still a must buy. I <3 keet, and it's Mata Nui.

Stronius: Still love, but would have been better with Metru red [still hopes]

Gelu: Cool Mask and weapons. Meh for everything else. I'll try getting the weapons off a trade one day.

Vastus: Still don't get what the hell is going on with the face. Neat armor and scythe, everything else is normal or sucks.

Ackar: Orange is yay. Fire piece is yay. Not a top-of-the-list set, but worthy of getting.

Kiina: Great mask, second-best weapons, and really nice armor. And it has light blue, and recolored Inika feet. My third or second choice.

And guys is it just me, or does the insert in the Cendox show that the handle bars move inward to make a really sexy bike?

Order of gets:

MN

Cendox

Stronius/Kiina

Ackar

Probably will only get the top two or three, I've only got 2 2009 Bionicle Sets so far.

And agents and Space police are looking quite nice. :D

Seconded. The problem for me is that I want some of them and all the BIONICLE and a lot of other LEGO sets as well. :cry_sad:

Stronius is still most likely metru red, because he was that at toyfair, and Metru Red seemed to be one of the defining bad-megablocks features about him that prevented him from being just-another-skrall.

I think that's just the Cenock at a different angle, albeit a lovely motorbike-like one. :classic:

Wow, absolutely nothing happened in that chapter, they just discussed things we already knew. All the new details had already been released in the OGD.

Well, we did learn why the Traitor betrays: he wants half of Tuma's conquered empire. Also, the traitor's attitude makes me think it's Strakk, greedy as he is. But who knows... It could be Berix or Tarduk too, for while scavaging they certainly should have learned a lot about a lot of things, perhaps including the baterra.

“It’s an excellent plan... for old women,” the traitor said, with a harsh chuckle.

Did anyone catch this quote from EoTS off-guard?

I rather liked the new chapter, actually. Mainly because it features the traitor, who we have not seen since the jaunary comic. I also thought the mention that the Battera were machines was interesting - but then again, I haven't been following the OGD. Had this already been revealed there? Because I seem to remember that we only knew the Battera were "doomsday weapons," not that they were totally machines. They could have been organic beings, for all that we knew - unless that was said in the OGD as well. :sceptic:

Oh, and the old women comment was very neat, even if I'm not sure if it means anything yet. I was thinking at first that it was a hint at how different Bara Magna is from the Matoran Universe, but then I remembered that Brutaka had mentioned "kidnapping your women" or something in one of the previous serials as well.

Yeah, we knew they were machines; they were designed by the Great Beings to kill any armed combatant, a way to end the war.

Fun fact, they inspired the design for the Bohrok, so they look similiar.
