Brickthing Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 I wish the BZPower staff would realize how much Mata Nui sucks, instead of putting up a review on the front page saying how legendary he is. Lame. Ackar sucks too. *hint hint*
Mesonak Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 Ackar sucks too. *hint hint* YES FINALLY Someone who agrees. <______________________>
Bundalings Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 YESFINALLY Someone who agrees. <______________________> The post is sarcastic. He's asking for a review. Yes, please! Needz moar Ackar! ~Bunda
BrotherDog Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 (edited) YESFINALLY Someone who agrees. <______________________> I'll second that. I also can't stand Stronius. However I do want all the non-red parts from these 2. The best is a 3way tie between Gelu, Mata-Nui, and Vastus. Also want the blue one. The vehicles: Skopio "Good design + awesome driver - horrid vehicle color = No way" Kaxium = Yes Baranus = Yes Thronatus "Awesome vehicle - lame driver = No" Cendox "Awesome vehicle - lame driver = No" Edited June 7, 2009 by BrotherDog

The blue one is Kiina lol. And I agree on Stronius and Ackar. But Baranus is a big N.O. for me. =P Baranus "Awesome Vehicle and Driver-Lame steed and wack color scheme=NO." IMO of course.
Bfahome Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 Thronatus "Awesome vehicle - lame driver = No"Cendox "Awesome vehicle - lame driver = No" While I don't particularly like Thornatus, I can't see the reasoning behind ruling it or Cendox out because the drivers suck. They should be easy to replace with any Toa or Av-Matoran. I mean, Jetrax Antroz sucks but I still got Jetrax. :/

"Bland Driver is bland." But Jetrax is still one of my fav sets ever. ^____^
VBBN Posted June 7, 2009 Author Posted June 7, 2009 From the Kiina Basher topic... Now I don't call myself an expert builder by any menas. But come on, I made this in 10 minutes, and it is more noticeably a female than Kiina is. ---------------- (weapons are temporary, I scratched the design prior to pics.) Yes I built this. Now all I need to do is match the light blue so when I get Kiina I can repaint the pieces that make up this body design on her.

I think it's the mask. Y'know, you're right. I mean when it comes to Jetrax Antroz, my only words are these."Bland Driver is bland." But Jetrax is still one of my fav sets ever. ^____^ I second that emotion. I, for one pick vehicles based on size, design, and parts score. This mans that if ever the driver is a factor in my decision, it is because it had good parts. Cendox: cool vehicle, yellow Kiina armour, more black Brutaka blades, cool mask, FINALLY some treads(I don't have any), good price. YES Kaxium: TWO vehicles for a good price, good parts, recolours, reversible masks, Bionicle-sized wheels, but a lot of silver: VERY POSSIBLE Baranus: not for forty bones, but maybe on sale. Good parts, awesome driver colors, plus three total glatorian heads and masks(the spikit has two masks mounted on Glatorian heads with Bohrok eyes on the sides). but not enough total to warrant $40.00. MAYBE Thornatus: more tan, recolours of Krika mask, Gali Mistika scope, wheels, really BIG wheel, nice design, rider is bland but has cool mask and new arm joint parts. POSSIBLY Skopio: The rider is unique, has a bitchin' mask, and orange. The vehicle has lots of red for those of us who missed out on Axalara, and then some. Transforming function, good design, massive. If I can afford it, YES.

Also, the Spikit looks really good. BTW guys, I've just started an epic. If you want to read it, I've just posted it here exclusively for Eurobricks (before deciding to post it on BZP). Hope you read it and like it.
---Vertea--- Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 HAY GUYS!!!! CHECK THIS OUT!!!! His brother is 10, and has never gotten into BIONICLE or action figure building. But he does like Ben-10. He buys a Ben-10 set, builds it, discovers he likes building action figures and maybe buys a BIONICLE set next.Greg This quote from greg is implying that the new Ben 10 sets will be buildable action figures. This is something we have all been figuring for some time, and plenty of hints have been given that support this. Now, many of you are dreading the possibility of another Galidor, but what if the figures are made of Technic or Bionicle parts??? Do you realize the implications??? Ben 10 is full of odd creatures that if translated into set form would make som REALLY cool parts. What do you guys think?
Bfahome Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 and it is more noticeably a female than Kiina is. It has bigger shoulders than Kongu Mahri. And sticks for legs. And those Inika heads what the hell are those supposed to be. You know, I'd say that Thornatus would be a great addition to the collection of someone who didn't get Jetrax. Or even someone who did, since it's a different color.

The reason most of us are fearing another Galidor is because the press release hinted about a "new way of playing with LEGO" multiple times. That quote only makes things worse, because I doubt TECHNIC is the appropriate way to make organic creatures like humans and aliens, and it wouldn't make sense for LEGO to make a such a close licenced competitor to it's own successful action figure line.
Illari Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 (edited) It has bigger shoulders than Kongu Mahri. And sticks for legs. And those Inika heads what the hell are those supposed to be. Noticeably more terrifying. QFT Don't bash the set designers if that's the best you can do. And about the Ben 10 sets, I think they will be like Bionicle canister sets but with around 10 unique parts per figure and a higher price tag. This way they could make them actually look like the real things, while keeping the technic/bionicle skeleton. And with higher price I mean something like 16.99 for 55 parts. VBBN Posted June 7, 2009 Author Posted June 7, 2009 Thank you Illari. And for the record, here is a little bit of friendly advice. If you don't have something good to say, don't say it. I may say bad things about Kiina, but I do give Kudos to the parts included with her. Consider yourselves slowly moving to my bad side.(those who bashed the MOC but didn't give anything constructive or nice about her). Since you guys take an idea far to seriously, I have scraped to MOC altogether and I will obviously have to resort to a female that looks like an overgrown 5-year old that hasn't been developed and been given some armor to please you guys apparently. As for the mask that was a placeholder. Mind you, I know it was a bad MOC, it seemed okay at first, but now that I look at it I do dislike it, but that doesn't mean I need such comments. Thusly I will remove the pictures to halt the comments. Anyways... The first contest I will be running on the new Brickforum is going to have some great prizes, so just you wait until June 15th when the site and contest are announced!
HumanPackMule Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 Honestly, I find Kiina to be the most feminine Bionicle character we've had. The Body is narrow enough to give the impression that she's slender.

---Vertea--- Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 Rare Parts, sets, good ol parts, comics, and much more. sweet! any hints as to the nature of what I should be building??
ΩArchiteuthisΩ Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 Honestly, I find Kiina to be the most feminine Bionicle character we've had. The Body is narrow enough to give the impression that she's slender. I agree. And, except for the boring as hell limbs, she shows some out of the box thinking for once. Now, that said, I do think the cons outweigh the pros on her.
VBBN Posted June 7, 2009 Author Posted June 7, 2009 sweet! any hints as to the nature of what I should be building?? Just check the last two pages full of posts in this topic relating to feminine sets and think of how that could affect a contest. That is your hint. I've been debating opening BFM2.0 a bit earlier, but I still stand at June 15th.

Uhhhh... *doesn't say it* *wishes he had seen the MOC in question* *sadface* ~Bunda
