Hm... am I the only one getting the same vibes from the Glatorians that I got from the Barraki? Creative, unique designs that really only work on half the sets? Of the Barraki Takadox, Ehlek and Carapar didn't suck. I feel the same way about Gresh, Tarix, and maybe Malum. They seem to be good sets, while Strakk, Skrall, and Vorox, while very good looking, seem like their creativity would impede upon them. Until I know Skrall's build, I cannot really criticize him, but he could be potentially a problem. Strakk's armor is very snazzy, but its sheer bulk would seem to get in the way. The same applies to Vorox, as well as his backwards neck tail. It goes from a thin Av-Toran limb to a thicker metru limb. I'll probably switch that when I get him, but still. The initial awesomes of these sets has worn off for me, and a closer inspection has me worried.

Hey Greg-

How are you? I have some questions, if you could answer them it would be really great. Thanks in advance!

1) I have some questions on the Polish guide and the map it contains.

A) Does the map contain any story spoilers? (i.e. proving/disproving the MN=MU theory)

B) Have you seen the final copy? And, if so is it in color?

C) Will the islands look the same as they did in BIONICLE World?

D) Will some islands not yet seen be on here?

E) And, If when the guide comes out nobody posts pictures, will you post your version? Heck, why not post it anyways, to see how it evolved from your version the the final copy :)

2) I have a few questions about the "core mysteries" that may be revealed in the future.

A) Will any get solved in 2009?

B) You told someone in the OGD, that we might get to see the origin of Energized protodermis if BIONICLE lasts that long. Just a question, but if BIONICLE was ever cut, would the story be quickly resolved, or just left on a cliff hanger?

3) I have always wondered this, but what does a Story Bible look like? Could you post some pics of one?

4) Have you seen the MN poster yet? Leigh said he was happy with his end of the deal.

5) Is it possible to show us those Antroz animation tests for the new movie that you told us about?

6) Will you reveal any storyline things at the next library event, that have not already been revealed in Bionicle Legends #11?

7) What is the new subtitle for the 2009 comics?

2b) Impossible to predict. My preference would be to resolve things, obviously, but it would depend on how far in advance I knew the line was being cancelled, whether we were still doing books then or just comics, etc.

3) It's an Adobe PDF with pics of the upcoming sets and their descriptions.

4) Yes, I have, liked it a lot

5) I don't have the authority to do that. The tests belong to the movie company, so they have to make that call.

6) No idea, haven't started thinking about that event yet

I have 2 follow-ups, If you could answer them it would be great.

1E) Well, my social studies teacher drew a picture of India that looked like a shield with squiggles for the Indo-gangetic plain, so I'm used to so so maps. I really wanted to see it, as it's from the author himself, and it may be a long time before someone posts scans. Plus, I'm not really one to judge you, I draw decently, but I look like a toddler compared to most of the people in the Art forum.

3) Could you post a page or maybe even a whole story bible of a year in which we know all that it contains? I would love to see how the story evolves, and what everyone works from...

Hey, I just realized something, we might have a really big evidence for the Teridax takes over MN theory-Remember in BL #4 when Zaktan learns all about how The Plan? He reads that it tells of tricking the toa in their final battle, MN awaking, then a reign of darkness. I know the reign of darkness theory was a load of dung, but do you realize that there is not a single mention of the fact that the plan entails letting the toa think they have won on BS01? Something is fishy and it's not any sea rahi..

Teridax going inside what seems to be Mata Nui's BRAIN for his FINAL TASK might add to the possession theory.

I'm also a fan of the Brotherhood-gets-killed theory. That is, Teridax killing the Brotherhood off. I mean the Makuta in Karda Nui are most likely screwed, let's face it. And I'm pretty sure it was said that Teridax predicted the existence of something like the Order Of Mata Nui and factored it into his Plan. Which means, he would have factored the resulting battle into his Plan. And consider, he sent his best fighters to Karda Nui, leaving the rest to deal with the war.

I think this theory might hinge on the entire Brotherhood consisting of around twenty members. And Greg has always avoided answering how many there are, so this may be it.

Translation -- I think Teridax has planned the death of the Brotherhood.

I know this's been theorised, but this one is "NEW! Now with more evidence!"

Knowing him, he won't raise a finger to kill the Karda Nui ones. I think that their massacre is part of the Plan (think of it- why did he send the best Makuta down there and let them getting screwed up so badly? Right now Mutran is the only one who is a full powered and healthy Makuta). Of course, once he has become the universe itself he will have no problems in getting rid of the other inferior Makuta. Everybody's just a puppet to his eyes.

I am too. It's fantastic to see some Matoran action with characters that do not yell "WE NEED TO SAVE THE UNIVERSE!" every other minute. And the De-Koro was a great cultural touch.

Along with DiD, these are the best Greg stories since Voyage of Fear. And I can't wait to hear more about the "secrets of the cosmos" that Mazeka was studying... hopefully it's more than just the MN = MU thing. Heck, we may even see the UDD Map again when the Hagah go waaay down...
