How does it really end?

EDIT: WARNING POSSIBLE SPOILERS!

I got the PM from that BZPer and it reads just like the other:

"There is no trap but anyways heres the spoilers

hello, The secret is that The matoran Universe is Mata Nui and makuta took control of his mind by going to the colesium(his brain) and banishes his spirit into the ignika(who sacrifed his body to awaken Mata nui) and sends the Ignika into a different dimension. Hope this helps!!!

ps karda nui makuta die, shadow matoran and taka are cured, and everyone gets to metru nui "

This is most likely the ending, but I can't help but think it's not the ending.

Did he say anything about the epilouge?

Yet even Ghost cannot save this toy line.

Only Batman can save us! Light the Bat-Signal!

If you really loved Bionicle you wouldn't care what they looked like

LOLZ, they're toys, that's the only reason people purchase them for. Has anyone here bought Toa Ignika because they have such a vital storyline role?

Lol

I hope I can get the book soon... hrmm... maybe I should stop reading this topic. I may get accidentally spoiled.

Haha, excellent! Now Lego can reuse the Ignika mask next year for the Mata Nui set! Woot.

Wait so does Ignika die and becomes a regular mask or what?

He doesn't die- he loses his body. He loses his toy in essence.

Oh just making sure. :P

But could he remake his body?

I'm more surprised I died in Baritones then this. Oh well heh? So this means: Glatorians are set in a different diemension and Mata nui is in Iggys body. If they reuse the Ignika ... actually thast not to bad if its gold. The Secret of Certavus heh? Not to shabby.

I think he means that Iggy is teleported away to somewhere else...

Yes, it may be. I'd like to know more of the ending though. :classic:

I suppose that if Ignika dies I'd ought to return my set-I won't be needing him anymore then.

You sound like Bonesii :P

I'm sorry, I should take the advice of a BZPer who is a member of the "Target Audience":

Anyhow, I've vented, so... goodnight.

(Oh, and as someone who has collected Bionicle for 7 years and has an entire shelf and three boxes full of them, I don't think you can say I "hate this line" ;-) )

Actually, the reality is that members like that are NOT members of the target audience - the target audience is made up of 8 to 11 year old boys that usually are not members of any forums. These kid are the ones that are accepted into the lego focus groups - and it has been revealed that they do not like everything TLC does. For instance, the Dino Attack sets originally were going to be about trapping dinos - not fighting them - but the focus groups didn't like that and wanted the minifigs to be fighting the dinos. Also, the Newva originally were going to be very similar to their original forms, but the focus groups didn't like that either.

Now, of course this doesn't mean that we have to like their decisions, but you've got to understand that the focus groups and Bionicle's target audience do not blindly accept everything TLC throws at them. Why do you think Bionicle has changed so much over the years? And for that matter, why haven't we seen more sets like the Hordika and Visorak? Because they didn't sell well - the kids didn't like them.

BTW, I honestly don't get why Bonesiii seems to be viewed so lowly around here. Personally, I've found that he's an extremely inteligent and respectful member - and he is as big a fan of the early years of bionicle as any of us. Ever read his Bionicle Paracosmos? If not, than I can tell you that they really show a great understanding of what 2001 was about - an extremely mysterious and shadowed Makuta, treespeak done the right way, extremely distinct personalities, a perfect combination of technology and tribal feel, etc.
