Yeah, thought it was something along those lines. So the guy who drew for JOT is the same one who drew that Ignika poster Bink gave to BZP.

Glad I'm not the only one who noticed that. It feels like 2001 all over again- but with a huge twist.

Hello Greg how are you? I've just read the ending of Legends 11: I liked it, but not only I liked it, I liked it a lot, I would have never imagined that Makuta could do such a thing like putting Mata Nui's spirit into the Ignika. I have very few questions about some things though (Hope you can answer them):

1) Makuta said that their only hope was Mata Nui. Does that mean that Mata Nui has the power to escape the mask AND return to his body if he still was in the universe?

2) I know Mata Nui's spirit is in the mask, but, what happened to Ignika's mind? It's still there?

3) Seeing the explanation that Makuta gave to the Matoran when he took over the Great Spirit, was Mata Nui the voice that told Matoro to put on the Ignika?

1) He meant that as long as Mata Nui's spirit was nearby, it was a threat to him, which is why he put it in the mask and dispatched it.

2) Ignika's consciousness is overridden by Mata Nui's, since Ignika is really not a living thing.

3) No, Mata Nui was asleep, so he could not have done that

I'm think what if the true final battle of '11 (or maybe '12?) Is Mak in Mats body vs Mat in who evers body? Also I has a weird brainwave . What if the current universe 09 is set is dead? I know it sounds weird but it's just an idea. I wonder what Trenkrom was anyway? A parasite? I hope we get a serial series about Tren Krom.

Alright, my ideas on all of 2009.

Strakk: Strakk actually looks good IMO. I see a new torso, and those weapons make me drool. I'm totally buying him.

Gresh: Ew, Lego fell on their face. The Nuparu claws push out the torso, making him extremely empty and ugly, and his head's too small. Inika feet mixed with Bitil thighs and Piraka legs make me want to hurl.. There is no redeeming quality about him whatsoever. Lego just lost a sale.

Tarix: It's a mutated scuba diver with a bad suit and ugly pieces. Those blade things he's carrying are mixes of Antroz and Pridak blades and look terrible. It's all short for 'ew'.

Strakk: YES! Another good set. This set is major win, although I think he may be another Pridak, looking at his torso. But his mask..and his weapon..and his shoulder armour..I can't say no.

Vorox: I don't care if he has an Inika torso, but Vorox screams gladiator. He represents the entire year. I like those new tan pieces, too. I'm definitely getting him.

Malum: WTF. What did TLC do? Those weapons look terrible and that mounted spike-ball thing is overkill. It's like Carapar and Kalmah went a bit further than just liking each other, and this is what happened. Urgh.

Atakus: It's simple. No.

Raanu: My eyes hurt from recolors and terrible posing abilities.

Tarduk: Reverse, recolored Tanma mixed with a Mahritoran and it got turned shadow. >.<

Berix: No no noooooo. Not another '-x'. Anyway, I see a small bit of potential in this one, although the Mahri tube is irritating me. The those Botar ears irritate me even more..idk.

Metus: Giant snowflake shield? Awesome reminiscently weird blade that looks like Kopaka's, only bent? Will probably look good with Strakk? This is a total buy..

Zesk: Yes. Everything is win from the quadruped form to the tail. Yes.

Fero & Skirmix: It has no upper teeth. It has too few recolors and almost no new pieces. The Matoran is a rip off of Atakus. Everything it just..bad. I'm not buying this.

Tuma: This is a piece of crap. There's no more to it.

I think we might, just as long Mata Nui is not in Ignika. :P

Incredible. Simply incredible. I am convinced now - the 2008 ending is the best bionicle ending EVER. I'm simply shocked that they did not go for a happy "Toa save the universe ending." Having Teridax win and banishing Mata Nui out of the Matoran universe is so epic win that it's making my head nearly explode with excitement. And Mata Nui's first spoken line... man, just awesomeness all over! Kudos to Greg and the story team for making an ending as incredible as this, and for bringing Teridax - aka THE MAKUTA - to his rightful place as one of the baddest villians ever. :thumbup:

Man, now I am really pumped for 2009! Even though I probably won't be buying any sets (2008 is my bionicle binge year), I'll sure as Mata Nui be following the storyline zealously. Here's to the next year of Bionicle! :classic:

I don't think that topic contained spoilers, it really was just a mess of useless spam (ie "Tell me, was the ending really shocking?", "OMG ure sooooo lucky!!!11!!", "Damn Borders! They told me that BL11 would've arrived today, but when I went there I found NOTHING!", etc...). So they probably deleted it, since it pretty much was a discussion about nothing (and therefore, that stole bandwith). Just my 2 cents.
