Mata Nui should still be tan regardless of size.

AND should have the best weapon ever.

A spiked maze or a sword. :P

Yeah, but that's a different story, seeing as how that's not a character we've been waiting eight years to be made into a set.

Don't care, you might have a spare $90 just sitting around but some of us have to eat. A Canister set is a much better option. Like you say, he's a character you've (Not me, I've been hoping he never would be a set) been waiting for, for eight years. Everyone should be able to get him.

I partially agree with you, but too many corners get cut in canister sets. Would be nice is he was a 15 to 20 dollar set, but just be a high-quality canister set.

I don't understand why there can't be TWO MataNui sets.

You have this big guy who's just ASKING to be done all Collector's Edition in like System or System / Technic hybrid... as like a bigass finale set to Bionicle...

http://flickr.com/photos/29805279@N06/2805509672/

And yeah, like Rho said, they could likely get away with charging 90 for something large and of sentimental value like that.

But then he could also be the canister set with the Glatorians the next year.

I mean hell, what could it hurt?

Best of both worlds?

As for that image on Lego's site... seems BZ's implying the pic's possibly going to be removed.

It's not like it's an accident that popped up there, so why would they think it'll get taken down?

It proves nothing. However, it DOES make things just a tad ominous, doesn't it?

I have a feeling these things ARE planned-not the early catalog leaks, but the things like this that show up early-ish.

Honestly, LEGO is probably playing it safe by only teasing us fairly close to the actual release, while REALLY early pics might give some rip-off companies(*cough*megabloks*cough*) ideas...

Now, if you want further 'proof', look at this: That pic up on S@H-it wasn't up 'till the 1st of October. Not just some random day of the month-the first.

Kinda ominous...

Bit late there... Jinzo, does this prove TLC does the leaks?

Short of a representative of theirs coming forward and admitting it, we will NEVER have proof.

What we do have is either one of two things:

A. --Lego does the leaks themselves.

B. --Lego, one of the most successful toy companies ever... has such horrible security that all their products are seen months before they ever come out.

As for this pic... well, all I know is that instead of thinking about all the broken, severely DEFECTIVE parts I've received in my recently bought Mistika sets, my attention has been drawn to leak after leak after leak. BAM BAM BAM, week after week, the spoilers just keep coming.

Is there a valid connection?

Probably.

Probably, and consistent leaking means that any actual [i.e., ones that Lego hasn't theoretically planned] leaks aren't as big news - there's leaks every spring and fall.

Hi Greg, have a couple questions/comments on TFB. Firstly, it was... amazing. You were right; completely pales the ending of 07. Very well written, you didn't let my expectations down one bit. I think all of the Makuta dying was... unforseen, but well executed. Lots of plot twists in there; I thoroughly enjoyed it. A very fitting ending to 08. But, of course, I have a few questions on it, if you don't mind...

1) Are Krika/Icarax truely dead yet? I know the others are for sure destroyed (flash-fried), but... they might have a chance, seeing as their molicules were scattered.

2) So Mata Nui's body is the Matoran universe, right? Seeing as Teridax drove him out of his 'body', and took control, I'm 99% positive that's what it it...

3) (I know this sounds stupid, but... ) Any hints as to what Terry plans to do now that he has absolute control?

4) If you can remember, what was the original title for the book?

5) And finally, did Terry teleport the Ignika somewhere else, or is it traveling in inter-dimensional space right now? All the book said was that it's 'drifting'...

5a) Would, when BS01 allows spoilers, the words "I will return" count as a quote for Mata Nui? (Awsome line, btw...)

Thanks in advance,

~Hydro

1) Yes, they are dead

2) I prefer to let people find out this answer a little later in the year, via the web

3) Nope

4) Mata Nui Rising

5) It is not in inter-dimensional space, it is in normal space, the space that was above the island of Mata Nui

5a) Sure

...was that known? If not, then this opens up a whole new realm of possibilities...

Edit @ Dor: K, spoilers fixed. I just spoilered the whole thing when I put it up, then left... got my tags mixed up.

Got this from Greg a while ago, to lazy to post it...

Hey Greg-

Don't know if this sent before, server issues:

Just got Bionicle Legends 11, and I had some questions (I was the one who told Nightmare, or whoever he is on BZP the ending)

1) Okay, so the ending was EPIC! For a minute there, you had me, even though I was sold on the Teridax takes over MN theory. I have a few questions about the ending.

A: Will you go into more detail on how the ending happened in the serials (The fact that it was a twist gave it little time to develop, and frankly, it makes the plan a little unbelievable) maybe in DiD ?

b: So you told Nightmare that MN has overridden Ignika. Would MN be able to control the Ignika's powers?

c: When Teridax said that took MN's spirt's place, before he got to his body, did this happen when he went to the Coliseum? And, why wasn't MN's spirt back in his body, right after he died?

D: Gali noticed that the Ignika was vibrating during it's sacrifice. Was this when MN's spirt was getting banished?

2) Could you tell me exactly how Teridax did all this? (i.e. something like: first he did x, then he did y, causing z...)

3) Will the whole MN+MU go into more detail?

4) Will the Nuva and the Mahri be major characters in the new serial?

5) I know you really can't answer many questions like this, but

A: Is Mata Nui's set really cool?

B: Will the set wear a gold Ignika?

6) If Teridax kills all the toa, and Matoran, wouldn't he just be killing himself?? If they all stop working to fight his forces, couldn't he have a great disruption, and with no Ignika, wouldn't he die?

thanks

~iVahi

1a) What kind of detail are you looking for?

1b) No, because Ignika is not in this universe anymore.

1c) Simple. Think of the body like a house that can only have one person in it. When Mata Nui died, he left the house. Makuta then went and stood right by the door. When the door opened again, Makuta rushed in before Mata Nui could get in, so Mata Nui was stuck outside.

2) Simple. Makuta can possess a living body with no spirit in it. So if Mata Nui died and then was brought back to life, all Makuta had to do was get into the body first.

3) I don't know what you're referring to

4) We really haven't discussed the 2009 serials at all yet here.

5) No, I can't discuss this

6) He would if he killed the Matoran, yes, but he has no intention of killing them. And he can survive just fine without any Toa. It could be argued that the Matoran could just somehow force him to kill them, but how many populations do you know who would choose mass suicide as an option? I can't think of any.

It's ironic how complex the plan was, even though the general idea was very simple. I' sent him a follow up, expect that soon...

On 1b, does this mean Ignika doesn't have powers while outside the MU?
