If so, do they drink as well? 2a. Do the Glatorian(s?) speak Matoran or their own language? 2b. If so, is it a language that the 2001-2008 character would know, or would he have to learn it? 3. Do Thornak grow on trees? 4. It appears that Skrall has a "labyrinth-pattern" on his shield. Does this represent an underground maze of tunnels for his village, along the lines of Onu-Koro? 5. Are any of the Winter sets female? 6. Exactly where is the line drawn between Glatorian and non-Glatorian? Are Glatorian just the canister sets, or those plus the small sets and Tuma? Or what? 7. Under Makuta's rule, is every inch of the Matoran Universe under his constant surveillance (I know that technically he's omnipotent), or is he like Mata Nui in that he doesn't (Or can't?) view everything that goes on in it? I ask because I'm not sure what the serial would be about if the Matoran and Toa are constantly under watch and unable to revolt. 1) I believe so, yes 2) They do not speak Matoran, no 2b) He'd probably have to learn it 3) No 4) No 5) No 6) Small sets are not Glatorian, no, they are villagers. 7) Ah, but you are forgetting something -- Makuta does have the potential to be omniscient, but he is still a non-Great Spirit mind in a Great Spirit body. So he is not USED to being omniscient, and that is a weakness the Toa may be able to exploit. Woah.... that was unexpected. None of us were right about who was the female, because there is no female in the winter!

To me, the story is what makes BIONICLE something special. The sets are great, but we do a lot of great sets, and have a lot of recognizable brand names for our lines, but they are not the same as BIONICLE because they do not have the mythology behind them. Or rather, he wasn't at all. Weird how they'll have the same series name though. That can't help for marketing. Say if, come summer, a kid asked his parent to buy the green Glatorian, there'd be two of them on shelves.

In this poster, Mata Nui is clearly shown to be robotic. In the BIONICLE.com CGI animations, he seems to be made of protorock with no mechanical parts. Can you clarify which is true -- is Mata Nui robotic or protorock/organic? Thank you so much. And by the way, an even greater thanks for resolving this year with such a great plot twist and revelation -- more epic than was dreamable. Reya Hi Reya, He's metallic, not rock or purely organic, same way the Toa are. Yes, I still use Reya's accountt. No one besides people at Ghost or Lego has seen the Mata Nui animation to be used in 20-40 days.

Also, there's a part in that same scene, where the camera is panning over all the sketches, where you can see a sketch of only half of the Blade Burrower map and a strange symbol next to it. (that scene was so filled with goodies :p) -Z I think that the symbol (which was attached to a pic of MN's head) was a graphic way of writing '09. Remember that GregF said that 2008 was supossed to be about saving MN, not awaking him. Since MN has changed since his pic in the vid, we can assume that these are old pics, and that may have been a concept pic for the original 2009 story, which is the 2008 story. BTW, What comes first, the Toy Fair or leaked summer photos?? (I'm new to this whole leaked photos, and I want to see MN now :) ) ~iLego94 Edited October 20, 2008 by iLego94
