Bundalings Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 finally in argentina in the 2009 we will got lego shops, that means that will got the sets at time and with razonable prices i hope, and in the 2009 there will be a spanish Bionicle site..in other words: SHITDAMN GOOD!!!! I don't know where you learned your English but most people don't use curses after every sentence. >_> ~Bunda
Clonie Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 I bet one million dollars on the following: 1) That the small sets have Karda Nui Matoran heads. 2) Stronius = Earth Ackar = Fire Vastus = Jungle Kiina = Water Gelu = Ice Mata Nui = Stone I'll link to this post when the time comes. Har har.
Wrinkledlion X Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 (edited) ...The small sets don't have Karda Nui heads. They're shaped entirely differently. And have different faces. Oh, and I'm hoping Mata Nui is Jungle. That way he'll be all life-related and such. Edited October 29, 2008 by Gunnar
~Wrack'n'Ruin~ Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 Hey Wrink, why don't you ask Greg why there are so many stairs next year? Seriously.

Har har. 1) Yeah, they've got upturned av-matoran heads don't they? 2) Why so confident?
Wrinkledlion X Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 It does appear a lot like that now that I look closely, as they appear to have pretty much the same shape, but in the picture I linked to it looks like Berix has pronounced eyes and a mouth-line. Looking at Photok's head I see no structures that might give that impression...
Bundalings Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 I bet one million dollars on the following:1) That the small sets have Karda Nui Matoran heads. They don't. The Av Matoran heads are very long, much longer than the heads on the 2009 small sets are tall. And they for sure aren't oriented the Av Matoran way... More likely they have the same heads as the Glatorian, 'cause they look very similar... ~Bunda

If you look at Berix and Metus' chins, they closely resember the shape of the back of Av-Matoran heads, and they are transparent like they're eyes. A further giveaway is that Berix and Zesk have the circular impression on the top of they're heads that indicate a plus rod underneath, which would connect to the Av-Matoran mouth.
Antroz147 Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 Since the site is German and lists the prices in Euros, obviously the month of release is March -- winter sets are always released in March in Europe.-Ikk Not always. Where I live, Piraka were released in March, Barraki in December/January and Phantoka in January/February (if I remember well).

Har har. Incorret, Vastus is most likley Red.

Strakk Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 Since the site is German and lists the prices in Euros, obviously the month of release is March -- winter sets are always released in March in Europe.-Ikk The site is Italian and they always arrive in March in Italy. As you said it is an European "tradition".
Ikki o' Moopyville Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 (edited) This is definitely German. Either way, from what I know, all of Europe sans the UK gets them around Marchish. =P -Ikk Edited October 29, 2008 by Ikki o' Moopyville
80 Dollar Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 The site is Italian and they always arrive in March in Italy. As you said it is an European "tradition". That means that the Czech Republic is not a part of Europe because we get them officialy in February? :D I also think that they will arrive here somewhen in December because all the winter sets do...
Pencoin Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 Since the site is German and lists the prices in Euros, obviously the month of release is March -- winter sets are always released in March in Europe.-Ikk Don't forget, Mutran came out in April! Thats why Me and a friend saw him in tesco in Feb!
Tyranide Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 Since the site is German and lists the prices in Euros, obviously the month of release is March -- winter sets are always released in March in Europe. Not everywhere in Europe. Here in Russia we get winter set line in the end of January-beginning of February. But, of course, Soviet Russia isn't situated in Europe, Europe's situated in Soviet Russia)) I think Berix surely has inverted Av-Matoran head. I bet I can see connector at the top of his helmet in catalogue pics...
Pencoin Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 Good idea (The shape is right) It seems to small to be an avvy head though... (Tested using real parts.)
Brickthing Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 Good idea (The shape is right) It seems to small to be an avvy head though... (Tested using real parts.) That could just be the perspective of the set images though, couldn't it?
Pencoin Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 (edited) Maybe, Look real close. Confirmed! They are upside down avvy heads. (For all of the Small sets.) Edited October 29, 2008 by Pencoin
Zarathos Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 Maybe, Look real close.Confirmed! They are upside down avvy heads. (For all of the Small sets.) Where did it get confirmed? -Z
Pencoin Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 (edited) By looking at the pictures. If you don't think they are avvy heads ... well ... eat it. Glatorian head ARE Avvy as well. Edited October 29, 2008 by Pencoin
80 Dollar Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 By looking at the pictures. If you don't think they are avvy heads ... well ... eat it. Glatorian head ARE Avvy as well. I really hope that they aren´t. How would you connect them to Inika body pieces? With Metru arms? That would just look awful.
Ikki o' Moopyville Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 (edited) Well, Av-Matoran heads for the Minitorian would mean a trans-blue Av-head on Metus. =D That would rock! As for the Glatorian, a 1000 bucks say they do not have Av-heads. Maybe Metru ones... or likely new molds. EDIT: Is it just me... or does Berix, Zesk, and Raanu have flip masks? -Ikk Edited October 29, 2008 by Ikki o' Moopyville
