Seriously, though. Bara Magna. I can't get over how cool that sounds.

Are you guys pronouncing it "bear-uh mag-nuh" or "bar-uh mog-nuh?"

I like the second. It sounds so exotic and it rolls well off the tongue.

"bar-uh mag-nuh" =P

Edit: To the above poster: EPIC FAIL

NOT BIONICLE-ish

BURN IT WITH FIRE

Err...I like it. An interesting design.

Of course, I don't want to spend 60 dollars for parts to build a bike.

Christmas is coming however...

Wait, isn't this topic for 2009 discussion?

Wait, isn't this topic for 2009 discussion?

But the 2008 topic is booooring. =P

The only thing I like about the Mata Nui as-seen in the comic is the head... which is the only part that looks ancient and awesome.

AHA. Figured out how "Tarix's second wrist" works. The neck piece. Either that or Hordika neck piece. But yeah. That. Woo victory.

Explain further?

Well, the only way a joint could attach to the plus rod of the weapon is in a way similar to how the head should attach to the neck. So I'm mostly hoping, but I think it is true. :)

Refresh thy memory.

I theorised that Mata Nui assumes the form of a Toa, and he is the returning character of 09 and also the one prompts someone from Bara Magna to ask "What's a Toa"? Because the description tells of Toa Mata Nui in a barren desert, it would make sense for that Toa in the teaser to be Mata Nui, and he resembles Matoro because of the Ignika's idol-ness of Matoro, and Matoro's life force in Mata Nui.

That Destral Cycle is exactly what I hoped wouldn't happen to BIONICLE - typical human vehicles with wheels. :hmpf_bad:

If you look closely, the mask he's wearing is the Ignika. Mata Nui will prolly be gold and some other color. He can't be stone now that we know that that is a villain element.

WTH is a Power Miners monster doing in the background?

HAAHAHAHA!!! That's funny! I never noticed that! Although I don't like the idea of human vehicles, I quite like the design in itself.

If what I suggested about Mata Nui's connection to Matoro is relevant, he could do well as an ice set. And white would go well with Gold, which he better be so that we can have a gold ignika.

I want a jungley Mata Nui.

So do I. Remember in BL11 when Ignika says he likes the color green, because it represents plantlife?

Maybe there was a "Find the Golem" activity in the Brickmaster? Or maybe just a sneak preview.

Although I don't like THOROUGHLY DESPISE the idea of human vehicles, I quite like the design in itself.

Dittotiny.png to both.

it's only a error in the teaser, it cant be released two times the same set, wait..

..can be that is a Mata Nui begins with a matoro Body, but after he changes his body making it looks more WIN?
