~Wrack'n'Ruin~ Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 Okay. So is MN = MU, then where were the Matoran and Zyglak and Tren Krom and shit before he showed up?
Trexxen Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 They were in him, of course. Tren Krom's reason for existing was to keep the universe going while Mata Nui was being made - so he's pretty much a "mini-Mata-Nui" with a lot more tentacles and an outside influence rather than inside. So, while the GBs finished the shell of Mata Nui, the life was sustained by old Trenny. ~Trexxen
Pencoin Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 Yellow bike is Failtaro is a PLACE HOLDER I hope Mata is white or green (With gold).
---Vertea--- Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 Yellow bike is Failtaro is a PLACE HOLDER I hope Mata is white or green (With gold). Wait, we know that he's just a placeholder? Oh, balls-I just sent Greg a message asking him if the figure was significant... But there's other questions, too, so I hope to have something new to discuss soon.

Wrinkledlion X Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 Hi, Greg. I have yet to receive my comic, but I've taken a look at this picture and it fascinates me. BIONICLE hasn't looked this mysterious and cool since 2001. This certainly has the potential to be very iconic. Few questions: 1. Not sure that you can answer this, but is that enormous shin-piece in the background made of stone or metal? 1a. Is it possibly the (Relatively speaking) small amount of Protodermis you said would be present in the 2009 location? 2. Is that beetle organic or biomechanical and simply stylized? (I thought the head looked like it might be a bit mechanical because of the angular horns.) Branching out a bit: 3. Is Bara Magna (I love that name) the name of the entire 2009 planet or just the name of the desert location? 3a. If the first, will we learn the Matoran planet's name as well? 4. Is Bara Magna pronounced "Bear-uh Mag-nuh" or the more accurate (Latin-wise) "Barr-uh Mog-nuh?" (I'm hoping for the second, myself. Sounds exotic.) 5. Just for confirmation- The Glatorian use scrolls made of paper, correct? 1) I can't discuss this, it's too early 2) Far as I know, it's organic 3) The entire planet 2009 is set on. 3a) You might, yes 4) Bah-ruh (sort of like "barren") Mag-nuh 5) They do have paper in this universe, yes 4. Doesn't matter to me. I have a history of pronouncing BIONICLE names incorrectly when I like them that way. Bar-uh Mog-nuh!
The Crazy One Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 Awwww......you are a legand, were did you find all theese pics. I'm am now in love with them, i was trying to stop for a while but now i just can't.
Brickthing Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 Thanks, I hope if we have a recolour and a alt model there the same set, like this year. More choice! I wonder if this will appear in anythin? Brothers in arms maybe? The problem with the Destral Cycle appearing in story is that it gives ownership to Antroz, who is using the Jetrax in the Codrex. An appearance with it's actual owner seems rather impossible.
Lord Santos Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 After watching the teaser for a while, I didn't discovered any Matoro Mahri, but a Matoro Inika: The mask, the limb and the legs... Compare the picture to your own Matoro Inika.

Brickthing Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 Yes, but BiA has flashbacks, so it's possible....~iLego94 The flashbacks are done though, and it's almost chapter 5 and they're not even in Karda Nui using their vehicles yet.

Compare the picture to your own Matoro Inika. That's what we've been saying. >_> I don't have Matoro personally, so I can't compare, but does that mask look a bit... off? ~Bunda

~Wrack'n'Ruin~ Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 Hmm. Okay, so Mata Nui is actually a giant flying robot space-ship. One day, the Makuta, his main troubleshooters threw a spanner in the works and Mata Nui crash-landed on a water-planet. Then his automated repair systems, IE the Toa, got out and gave him a jump-start. Only now, the last remaining Makuta has become like HAL and taken over the ship. Right?

Well, I doubt the part about the spaceship, but that gave me an idea :) Listen to this: http://files.filefront.com/Makuta+9000aiff...;/fileinfo.html Now, that was fun to make! ~iLego

S-N Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 (edited) I think he was always on the planet.... Must have been boring. ~Bunda 1) Can Teridax (in Mata Nui's body) still use some of his Makuta powers (I mean, to the outside world, even though there's only water there.) ?2) In one picture we saw the Ignika being shot out of Mata Nui's body, was this place he came out the same as where Voya Nui jumped out? And where te Toa canisters of the Toa Mata came out? 3) Is it safe now to assume that Mata Nui is the Matoran Universe? 4) Wasn't it lonely for Mata Nui to be all alone on that planet? This may sound like a stupid question, but since he didn't care about his universe, as long as everything went right, so that he could do his job, then this means he must have been very busy in the outside world, doesn't it? Thanks for your time, 1) He still has the powers he had when he was in Maxilos' body 2) Not to my knowledge, no 3) BIONICLE.com answers this question in November, so I am letting them do it 4) You are assuming he was on that planet before he fell asleep. When did we ever say that? LtoF From the OGD. Edited October 31, 2008 by S-N
---Vertea--- Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 1)does that giant leg piece in the Teaser hold any signifigance?2)is Bara Magna the whole 2009 planet, or just the location for 2009? 3)Since Tuma is the leader of the 'villainous' rock-tribe, does that mean that Vorox and Zesk are his minions or allies? 4)Was the figure in the teaser canon, and will we ever find out who he is? 5)Great Job in Mata Nui Rising-I REALLY liked it. I noticed that the colorist was good enough to change Takanuva to gold in the last few panels. However, i was wondering-why did leigh draw the Dume from the movie? Was it because he isn't an available set? 6) How far from the MU will we be next year? 1) Of course it does 2) Whole planet 3) Vorox and Zesk are not from the rock tribe 4) Yes and yes 5) Yes 6) Pretty far -- you couldn't walk there or ride there from where we are.
Antrozek Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 of course that Zesk and Vorox aren't from the rock tribe, they are from the spiky awesome sand scorpions tribe XD
Bundalings Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 From the OGD. Oooh... 3) Vorox and Zesk are not from the rock tribe Sand, maybe? ~Bunda
