---Vertea--- Posted November 8, 2008 Posted November 8, 2008 Hm... Metus DOES look like he's wearing a crown, so perhaps he rules over the Ice tribe? I'm ruling out Tarduk and Zesk because, although they are both really really really cool, they look a tad to animalistic to be tribe leaders. ...Unless perhaps one of them was a 'pack leader'. Like, say, Zesk being the head scorpion-thing, maybe?
Hydrobius Posted November 8, 2008 Posted November 8, 2008 I dunno... as people have said, Raanu may have the castle, but my bet is on Metus. But, regardless, this leaves a pretty big question... What are the Glatorian's role in this, if they aren't tribe leaders?
Holy Diver Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Perhaps the Glatorians are elite mercenaries who aid the tribes in their conflicts. And all the while keeping the tribes locked in a standstill to assure that there is never peace (so they can be sure that they will have employment and will not have to work at the Bara Magna McDonalds).

But, regardless, this leaves a pretty big question...What are the Glatorian's role in this, if they aren't tribe leaders? Warriors. The last defenders of each tribe and the villains of each as well. I have a feeling Bara Magna will be a place where the good guys are already losing. The good Glatorian are the warriors together in one kingdom(separated into tribes) and the bad Glatorian are the villains working with Tuma's kingdom and the rock tribe. The tribes are the same on both sides, but the kingdoms are vastly different. It would seem, too, that each tribe is underground since the boxart shows every element in a closed space with a glowing egress. The only ones without caves are Tuma and Fero/Skirmix-perhaps they live in the surface?

This would make sense. Especially so that the summer sets can be reversed, especially to show a possible prevailing of good (or at least evening out) It would seem, too, that each tribe is underground since the boxart shows every element in a closed space with a glowing egress. The only ones without caves are Tuma and Fero/Skirmix-perhaps they live in the surface? This would make sense, assuming that the last picture of the bionicle slides and the poster with the Mata Nui set show what the surface is like, because no one likes deserts. ;)

VBBN Posted November 9, 2008 Author Posted November 9, 2008 By Andrew, BZPower News Manager [source: Cheeseguy] Thanks to fast food-eating member Cheeseguy we have word that at the end of the month Lego will once again be working with McDonalds. According to the HappyMeal.com website, at the end of this month McDonalds restaurants will be giving out Mistika-themed toys. We don't have any pictures of them yet, but my guess is probably that they're similar to the non-Lego plastic toys we've seen recently. ...Damn.
---Vertea--- Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 ...Damn. yeah... McDonalds =FAIL until we get some REAL Bionicles
Bundalings Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 *sigh* I got most of the 2006 promos anyway, but still... I want McToran-types... =/ ~Bunda

Sadly, the crusted ears of one Ronald McDonald aren't listening-they are instead aiding him in creeping children out around the world

Bundalings Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Are them? I'm gonna let someone else click that. >_> ~Bunda
Wrinkledlion X Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Those damned deserts They might not all be underground, remember the Turaga all standing infront of the Kini-Nui? That wasn't Kini-Nui. Those were the often-overlooked Le-Kini, Ta-Kini, Onu-Kini, etc.
---Vertea--- Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 I'm gonna let someone else click that. >_>~Bunda Funny... but kinda lame, since this whole rick roll'd thing has gotten stupid now... Let it die before you bring it back...
hewkii9 Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 That wasn't Kini-Nui. Those were the often-overlooked Le-Kini, Ta-Kini, Onu-Kini, etc. Really? Because according to the map of Mata Nui, the Ga-Kini was underwater, yet Nokama is very clearly above water in her box shot.
Wrinkledlion X Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 It's what Greg says... Maybe Ga-Kini's on a tiny, tiny islet?
Phantoka_Chirox Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 maybe the leader (besides tuma) willbe fero. Fero-Pharaoh
Tyranide Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 maybe the leader (besides tuma) willbe fero. Fero-Pharaoh Greg said clearly "one of the small sets". And Fero isn't Impulse. Still, Greg can play with words, as he usually does, and it can turn out that he meant "any of Agori" instead of just "Impulse sets".
Shakar Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 I agree on Fero. The idea that he rides Skirmix gives him a sort of powerful/knightly look. And, like Tyranide said, Greg loves playing with words and deceiving, to keep theories alive until the very end. Shakar
Pencoin Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Slizers planet is looking very tasty right now. Fero = General for Tuma? Glatorian = Warrior who fights for, and repersents a tribe. They fight in the large arena Tuma and Fero and Skirmix are in.
iLego94 Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 I'll go to McDonalds only with the hope that they have another Promo poster hopefully for the Glatorians, like this one: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/bat/bion.../Poster/011.jpg ~iLego94
Pencoin Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 I forget about that. It was nice to see protos.
---Vertea--- Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 We'll prolly see the Glatorian prototypes with the zamor launchers
iLego94 Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 Gunnar, could you do me a favor?? Could you ask greg about The Final Countdown video, and MN in it?? About how his face was originally planned to be the island, but in the concept video it seems blank. I just wanted to know what MN would have looked like without ghost, and I know Greg will tell you anything... ~iLego94
