Gunnar, could you do me a favor?? Could you ask greg about The Final Countdown video, and MN in it?? About how his face was originally planned to be the island, but in the concept video it seems blank. I just wanted to know what MN would have looked like without ghost, and I know Greg will tell you anything...

~iLego94

I thought that the deal was that Mata Nui is how he looks, only the Bohrok were supposed to clean the island until Mata Nui's face was revealed, as opposed to them scoring and charring the island and then have Mata Nui break through.

I think he's asking about the images from the leaked vid and how THAT would have worked

To be honest he is a kind a blank character which I don't like. Greg just copied it off Heroes...

Finally the Matoran eating issue is ended!

so... The matoran are sucking life from Mata Nui?

creepy...

Yeah... I'm not a Tobduk fan at all. with a name like that, he should have been a lot cooler.

ROFL. Like there haven't been dozens of things before silly little Knox that fed off fear...like the Skakdi and their spine slugs, for one.

Pretty good chapter, still wish it advanced the plot some though.

Like what? I haven't noticed anything except for generic stuff.

Tobduk says Knox a lot more than Skadi ever did though. We should ask Greg if he has ever watched Heroes.

Also, the Brother in Arms chapters can't advance much plot individually can they? There are still 5 chapters to go and all that has to happen is Mazeka and Vultraz go to Karda Nui, fight a bit and then leave.

We don't know what kind of stuff could happen though? It could reveal that there are more Tren Kroms in the swamp that Mazeka encounters, or that somewhere that a Makuta has secretly made one of the Toa evil. WE don't know yet.

:sceptic: That could be pushing it for an interesting plot subject....And people at BZP would go beserk as to why the demonic evil beings weren't seen around the swamp by Toa/Makuta earlier in the year.

I would accept it if Mazeka encountered some kind of crystal rock golem or something though.

I can't believe Greg would even think of borrowing from the convoluted, out-of-character tripe that's been post-Adam Heroes.

Poland, I'd reckon.

Nice. :)

Well, now we have low-res CGs, Nice canister art, and prototypes. Now, we wait for high-res CGs and more info, I s'pose.

Oh, if you go to the Tuma Target page, you can zoom in on his CG image with crystal clarity. Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to save the full-zoomed image.

Boy howdy.

Haha, I didn't see that, I swear! BTW, am I supposed to look at that smiley [frowney?] from the left to the right or the other way round?

Either way works. :)

>:( ):<

Okay, yes, it is official. I needs the Tuma. :D

Okay, well since I'm bored, and no one's talking to me on ANY of my online crap, I'm just going to post full-length, pre-reviews on the Glatorians and how I feel about them... feel free to skip over this. O_O

Atakus: Love the swords, first of all. Hooray for Glow-in-the-dark pieces! He looks pretty cool. 7/10

Skrall: The spinny, saw-shield thing is amazing. I noticed his life counter on his foot... I'm interested in these life counters. Hm... 8/10

Berix: Blue Tahu Mata sowrd=WIN. I'm wondering what's with the tube, though. 7/10

Tarix: I love the spikes. The swords are pretty neat, too. The second wrist thing still confuzzles me, however. I don't like how the tube shoots up into his mouth like that, but oh well. 7/10

Tarduk: Very beastly. Jungle-y. I just love the animalistic feel it gives me. 8/10

Gresh: The color scheme, the jungle, the character himself. It reminds me 2001. I'm disappointed that they got rid of the green Nuparu claws, but sacrifices must be made, I suppose. The shield/sword(s). It's sweet, and I bet it has the same function that the Nupura Mahri shield should've had. 9/10

Raanu: In my opinion they should've made his torso another color, but oh well, I guess it's kind of rocky. I'm kind of hoping they make the flames on his "sword" a mixture like Exo-Force did with Tahu's swords, but i'm not going to get my hopes up. You can definitely see SOMETHING on top of his head, so you might think it's a flip-mask. Whatever. 8/10

Malum: FLAMING HELL! That's the first impression I get whenever I look at this set. The red, the yellow, and the tiny fire sprouting from his mask. And, may I say, those claws are kick-megablocks. O_O 10/10

Metus: Aaaw, so cute. He does look like he's wearing a crown, so you never know with that quote we got earlier. The tiny sword is over-used, but the snowflake shield is FTW. 9/10

Strakk: Now, I've probably said this before, but his mask reminds me of a monster from the Nightmare Before Christmas. I love the icey armor. And his hunch makes him look that much sinister. Huge icey axe is amazing, as well. I like the utilization of Inika shoulder armor as chest armor. It looks cool. 10/10

Zesk: Once again, very primal and evil. 2001 feel. Once again, also, he looks like that thing that attacked Padme in SW ep. II. Very spider-ey and scorpion-ey at the same time. I'm interested in that piece that looks like a Radiak torso without the extra balls on it. Just the head one, the one they use to attach the tail. but It looks like it'll swivel a lot. 8/10

Vorox: Oh... my God. Amazing. Evil. Sinister, and animalistic. I love it. Oh, and did I mention TAN! It's as close to brown as we're gonna get for a while, but I like it. The mask is so creepy. And the tail, I can't even begin to deescribe how wonderful this set is. 10/10

Tuma: Eeh, I'd prefer it if he were just a crazy dude from the earth tribe. He doesnt look very rocky. Hooray fro black Hordika brains, though. Black and green. Interesting combo they way he's set up. 7/10

Fero & Skirmix: Now isn't this midget playing high and mighty? He looks pretty cool, using a sword used at least 10 times (multiple used in most of those sets). The dragon... it looks like Kardas has a brother. Still pretty cool, nontheless. Could've used more color. 4/10 (Fero), 5/10 (Skirmix)

Thornax fruit and blaster: Well, at least it's not what the original pictures were. That would've been nearly impossible. These ones are much nicer. But uum... is that launcher made of TWO pieces? Ugh.

Anyways, that's it. I'll be giving more reviews later. ;D

Here's the big CG-as promised. And Tuma DOES have green patterns on his helm.

Wow, in the talkback thread on BZP of the new serial, nobody is complaining about how Tobduk is so chiche. Ah well.

Thanks for the CG Tuma Vertea, but I think that the box art CGI shows more detail IMO.

What are those fan-things in Tuma's background? Are those Agori holding them up?

I just sent Greg a question or two on that. I think they are beings of the general Glatorian size. Maybe in this world, little guys are fewer and the canister-size are numerous. I think it might be Tuma's army.
