It's any set of Animal Crossing reusable for city?

I would say yes becuase Harry Potter’s Patronus pieces (stag, hare, otter) have been recolored for City. But we will see!

I have seen the sets at brickset and are more suitable for friends

Yes, easily will fit in a suburb of sorts, next to other City/Friends/3-in-1 scale. It also makes those "downtown" builds look more like City blocks in comparison.

A C set houses could be more like cottages or perhaps holiday homes, at a beach/lake/forest/farm type of environment in combination with other themes.

Let the Wanda x bytz ships begin!

The one before was a clone of the climbing one

And this, It's a clone of the pirate treasure one

Lack of ideas?

I mean... His pink thing fitted inside her pink thing... 😳😅

What set does Bytz come in? (Dunno why I'm asking when I'm about to scrutinize every City set on Lego's website)😅

Finally got around to watching Brooklyn Nine-Nine, wasn't expecting it to have such big Duke Detain/Chase McCain/Lego City Adventures energy  🤣

Looking at the price, it is unlikely that there will be a type of truck that includes a bus or trailer, and it is probably a van or a medium-sized truck.

Another big space set then? will be an interesting year since it's all pointing to fantasy space, and City getting futuristic / sci-fi / aliens is a nice spinoff direction , but with those flying cars from this year, and a few of those stuntz sets, also not as crazy as imagined a few years ago.

Sure, city did get silly things like sky police jetpacks, then giant magnets on helicopters, and then it got weirder with stuntz, but it's nice LEGO has room to do some fun stuff, with stuntz moving away, there likely was room for something like that.

I imagine summer sets will focus on buildings again (using the 8x8 and 8x16 "module" system,  as this winter wave seems mainly focused on Fire/Police, some vehicles, and lots of space.

Friends will be getting a hospital, so maybe summer city will have one too (as those 2 themes overlap now more then before getting things in the same year, rather then 1 year apart)

In the case of space, if you look at other sets, 60432 set is likely to be mobile space lab.

Or could be something like an Alien spaceship/space base instead, of course for a $90 can still include vehicles.

I’m becoming more and more interesting in the space-oriented sets… I am quite curiosu about alien minifigures and new molds (maybe not likely?). I meanI really don’t mind fictional AND realistic space stuff. Like…I don’t mind NASA spacecraft (it’s realistic) and I don’t mind alien stuff (it’s fictional…or is it?).

Yeah! I'm all for aliens too! But I just don't think they belong in City as City is more on the realistic side when it comes to scientific stuff like arctics, oceans, mines and space. However, everyone has argued me up and down that there will be aliens in these new City space sets that I'm almost coming accross as someone in denial.

For $20 we can't expect any really great

We are full of electric sports cars and food trucks

But I don't expect something else from lego

Don't discard a 4+ vehicle

We dont know set name or piece count at the moment.

But you are probably right it could be a 4= set or another electric car/food truck.

Agreed. But City has some crazy stuff, take a look at Stuntz and 2K Drive subtheme. Not quite realistic, is it? Plus, there were woolly mammoth and saber-toothed tiger in 2018 Arctic subtheme. It sems that prehistoric animals were still alive, which it’s quite sci-fi. I guess kids can make their own stories.

Oh and how about aliens invading our cities and kill entire population? Yup,that’s a horror sci-fi stuff.

They were supposed to be frozen in the ice, and being recovered by the explorers. Of course, since Lego designed these sets for kids they made the animals look vibrant and alive, not withered and dead. I guess there is a difference between real death and monster/zombie/spooky death.

Yeah. I still think it’s strange that they wre frozen solid then humans found them still alive. Normally, Lego is not willing to include a “dead” animal mold. But only fossils/skeletons.

I guess kids like to imagine that scientists can resurrect woolly mammoth and saber-toothed tiger in a fashionable sci-fi way.

Stuntz is totally different. How can I say that? Because there are stunt teams in real life who actually do stunts like that. Prime examples of that can be seen in the Universoul Circus that happens every year here in DC. But of course, City is not going to do a circus subtheme because of cancel culture and hints of animal abuse. But I think this would be close enough to that. I will also disagree on 2k Drive2k Drive is also realistic as custom cars are a thing and I do mean that there are people who customize their cars in crazy ways, thus the 2023 2k Drive sets. Heck, they may even add spinning propellars - though they don't seem to be lifting the car off the ground. Why do you think the Fast & Furious franchise became so popular? I still think Lego was inspired by that saga to do the 2k Drive custom car subtheme. Also, saber tooth tigers and woolly mammonths like the ones you saw in Arctic, actually existed - and proof of their existience can be found in almost all natural history museums accross the globe! Though they are extinct. As was said above by @Silverhurst, said animals were supposed to be "dead". But because its something for children, Lego didn't want to scare the crap out of the young children. :iamded_lol:  But when you look at aliens.......well I ask you. Are they real? Can we prove that they are real? Do aliens actually fight in cities? City is supposed to be based on real life.
