Sorry about your luck with the 6 pack, but at least you have a nice pool of unique minifig parts to customize with. Glad you were able to get what you were missing. Quote

Yeah, I never understood why people bought them, since you never know which minifigures you are going to get. Same thing I never understood why they don´t do the 12 packs everywhere. Or even better make a pack which contains only the parts but not the packs, that would help people that just want a complete series and also save packaging. 14 hours ago, Sir Dano said: Few attempts at unmutating the Blacktron fig, I think the Space Police CMF legs work best, just a shame they're hard to find: That one looks really great. Classic_Spaceman Posted May 7, 2024 Posted May 7, 2024 The Space Police Guy legs definitely look the best, which is unfortunate. 🫤 My unrealistic hope is that we get unmutated legs in a set sometime soon (maybe the Ideas Minifig prize machine?), along with a recoloured City Space helmet in black/white and a regular visor in trans-bright green. Lion King Posted May 7, 2024 Posted May 7, 2024 I actually considered about ordering 6 packs from Lego S@H but I abradoned this pla. It’s becuase I remembered having duplicated minifigures from Series 25. it won’t help you collecting the whole series. It’s best to use QR scanner instead. Less lazy. :) Quote
KDog Posted May 8, 2024 Posted May 8, 2024 (edited) I bought three of the six-pack boxes off Amazon. Each box had the M:Tron Powerlifter, Nurse Android and Orion. No Ice Planet Explorer, Robot Butler or Retro Space Heroine. I was especially annoyed at not getting the Ice Planet Explorer, as she was the #1 figure I wanted. Is it just bad luck, or am I correct that LEGO predicts which CMF figures will be in highest demand and makes fewer of them? There definitely, to me, seem to be rarity levels in the past several collections. Edited May 8, 2024 by KDog Quote

I doubt that, since most of the people who want the Ice Planet explorer would also probably want the M:Tron astronaut as well. I can see LEGO purposely splitting those up, however, so that you cannot get both classic remakes in the same 6-pack. Quote

Hey did you ever get your pink space baby? The shops around here restocked already, you may want to check again if you haven't in awhile. Edited May 8, 2024 by Space Coyote Quote

I did check back and one store had restocked, but all but seven were gone by the time I got there. No Spacebaby, but I did manage to pull another M:Tron, two Beatlezoids, and a Blacktron mutant. I know you will find one it seems like they made a lot of this series based on how quickly it got restocked so I'm sure you'll have a few more chances. Dollar General carries older cmf series so you may see them there too much later on but I bet you'll have one soon, department stores like Kohl's may be worth a try also. BrickFit26 Posted May 29, 2024 Posted May 29, 2024 With the beetlezoid and alien tourist CMFs, I'm ready for a new alien theme, more so related to ETs and UFO/UAP. I know we already have some alien creatures in the new city sets. But I'm talking about having a new theme like the Alien theme from the late 90s. I can't get enough about how amazingly designed the beetlezoid headpiece is. Quote
Pchan1983 Posted May 31, 2024 Posted May 31, 2024 Finally, these are available in NZ. So happy they brought back the unique themes baseplate and so many interesting transparent parts! Quote

I do understand that there are Space City sets and Star Wars at teh same time, but I don’t know if we would see an in-house alien theme shortly after some of Space City sets’ EoL by end of this year. Regal res, I want more in-house themes! I’m not really into licensed ones but I try to snag some alien spices from Star Wars and put them into in-hous universe just like I do hit dinosaurs from Jurassic World. Quote
BrickFit26 Posted June 4, 2024 Posted June 4, 2024 @Lion Kingit would have to be it's own original theme like the Aliens theme in the 90s. But if they did a license Alien theme, if welcome that as well. The beetlezoid headpiece is not that far off from Ridley Scott's Aliens, I'd definitely welcome licensed theme like that. Quote

Yeah I prefer in-house theme but i would be happy to grab certain alien figures from licensed like I do with dinosaurs from Jurasic Word. Also, I wou love to see other Space series but i don’t know what lego has hold in its mind at the moment. Quote
jonwil Posted June 5, 2024 Posted June 5, 2024 Finally managed to find some of these here in Australia today. But sadly it seems that the camera on my phone (low-end Nokia Android) can't focus on objects that are that close which means none of the scanning apps (LEGO or generic) can scan the data codes :( I kind of thought that I could just compare the data matrix codes on different boxes to find the 12 that are unique and buy those but I checked the barcodes on an entire box of 36 figs (which appeared to be untouched) and I couldn't find any that matched each other... Quote
jonwil Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 Bought 9 of these blind. First batch of 3 was 3x alien tourist. Second batch was mtron guy, human suit and UFO headgear guy, third batch was mtron guy, ice planet guy and human suit. Happy that I got the 2 mtron guys and the ice planet guy as that was what I really wanted for my current Space display. Quote

VinnieCannoli Posted June 8, 2024 Posted June 8, 2024 (edited) I'm so grateful to Lego for releasing the Beetlezoid and most importantly, relating them with Galaxy Squad bugs. Never did those "army buildings' ' before but now I have started. Always thought that we never got enough bug-variants from Galaxy Squad. Mantizoid is so expensive and sometimes 1 antenna of Mosquitoid costs 6-9eur (!!) because after all these years most of those were lost, but thankfully I had several headless torsos lying around and had my old sets. Getting full versions of additinal Mantizoids is the most difficult part. PS: By the way the way Lego portraying beetlezoid as a vegetarian doesn't mean it can't be dangerous. This is a herbivorous beetle (like a lot of beetles are), but it could very well be a heavy force in an insectoid army. (herbivores are not always harmless - take for example Therizinosaurus from the Jurassic World). Thought having a beetlezoid as a gentle giant is also great! Buggoids look like standard warrior variants. Mosquitoids are air attack specialists with weak armor, Mantizoids are special troops and leaders. A more tanky version with powerful armor was needed and I see Beetlezoid as one! I wish there was an active Galaxy Squad thread because I always liked this line and wanted to see more of it Edited June 8, 2024 by VinnieCannoli Quote

jonwil Posted June 11, 2024 Posted June 11, 2024 (edited) Bought another 6 of these, got the nurse, white astronaut and blacktron guy in the first batch then a 3rd imposter, a 3rd m-tron guy and a 2nd UFO costume in the second batch. Definitely want at least one more ice planet guy as well as the one with the dog, the chef, the Orion fig and the insect one. I am disappointed with the head they used for the Ice Planet Explorer, IMO they should have gone with a head that called back to https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=3626bp65 with the earrings. The figure they used calls back to said figure though. Yeah, it doesn´t use earrings anymore, but considered the hair is a mould and not printed anymore it might look a bit weird anyways. Back then they used it as a detail to show it is a women but nowadays the design overll evolved IMO that is just isn´t needed anymore. Anyways I am happy they decided to not print them anymore. Quote
Clone OPatra Posted June 19, 2024 Posted June 19, 2024 Australia rant: I finally found S26 in an actual store besides the LEGO Certified Store (because Kmart's in stock system is always wrong of course)... and Myer had put super adhesive price labels halfway covering every QR code on every individual packet in the box, sufficient to keep them from scanning even on the couple I tried to peel up. They didn't do that for S25, which was never scannable in Aus! Can we just catch a break? Quote
