I wonder who's next

We've got Flower Pot Girl, Forest Elf and now "Mushroom Girl"

Flower Pot Girl = spring

Forest Elf = summer

Mushroom Girl = autumn/fall

So the logical conclusion should be 'pile of frozen sticks boy' = winter

If we are ever to allow the Acorn Boy to have some happiness, the we better allow him to have a companion. I don't mid her. She can mingle with the other Forest persons. LOL

Oni (Japanese demon or demon-god)

Kyudoka (master archer)

Itamae (ramen chef)

Japanese man wearing a yukata, perhaps wearing a moulded geta

Doubt Lego will touch this but, perhaps a gosu-rori

Ultraman

Sailormoon

We did get Oni in Ninjago but I know your going for a more historical version.

Maybe they should just make a male fairy.

Yup, that ninjago version would be a joke!

A challenge for Lego: make a bunraku puppeteer with his puppet! LOL

I feel Flower Pot is more like a costumed figure… Acorn Guy doesn’t look like he is in a costume. And Mushroom Girl is perfect companion for him. So I rule out Flower Pot.

What about more variety in firearm pieces? Even if Lego refuses to make modern day guns as accessories, They can always come up with stylized blasters as alternatives. A shotgun would probably be an exception as everybody and their mom knows what one is, even if they have little info about guns

Everybody and their mom also knows what a standard handgun looks like no matter what their personal experience with firearms is, but lego has made it quite clear that they’re not doing any contemporary real life guns.

Lego’s policy on including firearms in sets has nothing to do with kids’ preexisting knowledge of them and entirely to do with not wanting to normalize the idea that real life guns can be playthings in any form. I get that it’s not as big a deal in Europe where getting common sense gun laws passed is fairly easy, but in the US our gun safety laws are so lax and poorly enforced that the number of casualties we see from children getting ahold of improperly stored firearms is truly horrific. I know the difference between a tiny plastic toy and a real gun seems obvious to an adult, but it isn’t for all children so I understand Lego being very strictly cautious on the issue.

Best to pin any future hopes on futuristic blasters and historical firearms - frankly I personally think that latter category has more interesting prospects than anything contemporary anyway.

Swords are not in use in our time but guns are in use. It could make sense why Lego make a lot of new sword variants but not go for modernizing gun molds.

Swords are either historical, sci-fi (see Star Wars) or fantasy while guns are more historical. Swords are still concerned as a form of violence tho.

And I agree with Accio Lego on guns.

But I would loe to see futuristic weapons tho.

Have to agree, Flowerpot Girl is in the same league as corn guy, chili girl, etc. Perhaps the butterfly girl might qualify as a magical creature, but not the Flowerpot girl.

Not a bad idea!

What could be for Spring then?

How about Flower Fairy with petal-designed wand for spring?

A new flower element with a standard sized bar that fits into an antistud could be combined with the new Harry Potter casting wand to create a floral wand while also introducing an element that could be used as regular flowers in any number of sets.

My patience runs out slowly while waiting for official images of S25…

We usually don’t see official picks until about a month before release (although sometimes lego drags their feet), so likely there will be nothing official before December. And I doubt lego wants to hype anything not coming out until January during the Insiders weekend/Black Friday period when the emphasis is on buying gifts for the winter holidays.

The Basil torso has leaked on Instagram.
For those interested it should be findable under the usual hashtags as well as #basilthebatlord

I think the design is nice, it’s even got arm printing.

Preorders are up on MinifigureMadness, if anyone is looking to get a few boxes. Though it might be worth waiting a few days to order - they usually have discount codes in their newsletter that comes out around the beginning of the month on new series preorders.
