So I thought I was being smart - I ordered 24 of the CMFs from Lego and had them delivered, with the intention of scanning the QR codes and returning the unopened ones I didn’t want. They arrived today, and all have the unscannable small QR code. Just tried the scales I have and they’re not sensitive enough to show the difference really, they seem to round up or down to the next whole number. Meh.

Okay, I pulled the plug and opened 4 I suspected of being basil and I was right on all counts! Now I’m looking at the ones I think might be the goatherd…

edit. All 3 were train-boy. Meh.

So, the second 6-pack CMF package just arrived today.

Yup it’s not A and B boxes after all.

Pack A:  Triceratop suit, vampire knight, (2x) Paralympic sprinter, goatherd, fitness instructor

Pack B: Paralympic sprinter, vampire knight, triceratop suit, e-sport champion, dog groomer, noir

It’s best to buy ONE six-pack CMF set then buy other six minifigures individually by using Bricksearcher app.

Ordering two 6-pack CMF boxes are quite gambling.  A complete one would be perfect.

I will sell duplicated minifigures at yard sale then!

Interestingly, that seems to mostly line up with my earlier theory of four sets of three:

  • Set A: Harpy, Mushroom Girl, Barbarian
  • Set B: Dog Groomer, Gamer, Nior Detective
  • Set C: Bat-Lord, Triceratops, Sprinter
  • Set D: Train Boy, Goatherder, Workout Lady

Sub out one of your duplicate Vampire Knights in the first box for a Train Boy, and it works.

I figure the goats will be on PaB once the medieval village is released.

Definitely a goat or two, but probably not the same color as the CMF:wink:

I have to travel a lot for work over the next month. Realistically I think I will have time to visit Lego stores in Birmingham and Copenhagen, so will see if they have more in stock than the London ones.

I tried the brick seach app in Walmart and it worked. But I did notice that my local Walmart has a mix of the smaller and bigger qr codes next to the barcodes and the app doesn't work on the smaller ones.

All my walmart had was the smaller codes.  so far still haven't gotten a Basil yet.  Hopefully this week I can find some.

Got my two full boxes from Minifig Madness today. All of them had the larger codes, and I was able to find six full sets without issue.

Good luck to y'all looking for Basil! I got lucky and was able to find him at Walmart, in the very back of the bin with only a few boxes left.

Went to the local Lego shop at the weekend with some electric scales to do some weighing until the employee at the till told me they’ve been scanning the QR codes and had the two I wanted behind the till!

Just got the Bat Lord and the Goatherd so I’m pretty pleased

So Series 25 has been popping up all over the place recently. And just as a lot of people have expected, lots and lots of opened and vandalized packaging.

One Wal-Mart had like 30 boxes, all of which were torn open and spilling out. A few boxes were completely empty.

So that was fun.

Here in Australia, where they officially release today (February 1st), the first two boxes my nearby LEGO Certified Store had all had small QR codes only.

I figured Australia gets batches packed in Europe, or is there a third location that packs CMF for Asia Pacific now - Mexico, Europe and... somewhere else?

I got some from a store where the clerk open them and identify them

No people handling/tearing the boxes

No fear for getting a duplicate one

More people buying them

Well I would guess the Chinese one would also sound likely to me. In the end it should be easy to see though, when you are looking at the codes. If it would be Europe you would also have the S in the Code or R for Mexico. If they would come from the chinese Factory I think the Code should have a B instead

I’m still finding a mix of large and small QR codes out there. Am in Copenhagen briefly and managed to snag 2 goat herders while here, but there were 0 bat knights.

Very kind lady at my local toy shop was able to use the shop barcode scanner rather than me using the phone apps to get a couple of bats and goat herders.

Looks like the goatherd goat will remain exclusive to the cmf. The town square has a dark grey goat!

I guess it would've been unlikely for them to reuse the white goat so soon, but it doesn't mean they won't later on.

I took a chance and brought my not particularly accurate gram kitchen scale to the store, and managed with three packs to get both the Goatherd and Batlord, plus the train kid (who I didn't care about, but three different figures is great).

Get the Bricksearch app to scan the matrix codes. It’s a game changer!

That one only works with the big codes and:

Found two more brand new boxes of them in another major retailer. They have S in the code, but are all exclusively small QRs.
