If that's true, we have left the year of repetitive cars and we are going into the year of repetitive space sets. There aren’t a lot of rovers or other possible space sets. When was the last Technic moon rover set?
November 4, 20231 yr Holy cow. Are we getting an Apollo LRV in Technic for $250? That would be a shut-up-and-take-my-money set for me (if drastically increased rent and utilities hadn't already taken all my money starting in June of 2023).
November 4, 20231 yr Finally! I hope it means there is hope for a Shuttle in the coming years, too..!

There are a lot of space sets scheduled for 2024, that's what I mean. It's not a bad thing if they make something new, but if they make 4 or 5 sets based on space, there will be 4 or 5 sets less for other different themes.
November 4, 20231 yr A technic LRV (moon rover) … so custom wheels I’m guessing (wishing for). curiously was used 1971 & 1972 (Apollo 15, 16 & 17) … not 1970 2024 the year of space … all good for me. Still hoping Lego does an ICONS version of SpaceX Starship to go alongside the Saturn V

November 4, 20231 yr Considering 250 dollars price and the plain design of the Rover can it be 1:8 scale model with around 2500 pieces? I mean, 1970 Moon Rover is basically just a car chasis with few gadgets. I think either it must be a huge set or have additional obejects to increase piece count (astraunant ?). Or it will simply be a Control+ set. Edited November 4, 20231 yr by Oh_Hi_Mao

They wouldn't have to make another wheel and tire parts in a new scale, only the pattern must change. And, as you said, it really is a simple structure, so I can see bigger parts being used in the whole set.

November 5, 20231 yr Yey! Another Technic space set. Since there is no NASA in the name of 42182 I assume it will not be licensed, similar to Perseverance Rover. I also don't think it will have new custom wheels, but for 250$ probably C+ again.@Ngoc Nguyen Can you update the front page listing with this set please?

However i think having 2 200€ and over sets release at the same time, besides the usual august 1st releases is a bit unusual, so i expect the supercar release to be staggered by a month or delayed to august.
November 5, 20231 yr Finally there is something interesting under 100€ and looks like next year will be the best for me since 2019 (but also hard for my wallet). I'm especially counting on the forage harvester and space wheel loader. I don't have a motorcycle in my collection yet, so if Kawasaki includes new gearbox parts, it will be mine too. Additionally, may be interesting Mack truck and bulldozer, if this set includes yellow small tracks. So if the leaks turn out to be true, I will probably buy at least 5 sets in one year (I only bought one set for parts in the previous two years). However, I am still amazed by the decisions of the TLG management to release a whole group of similar models in one year. Last year we had a series of the same cars with only different shell, now it's time for space sets (which of course is still better than several similar cars). I'm afraid it could be end with poor sales due to cannibalism of the same products and a return to car design.
November 9, 20231 yr Just a speculation from my side, but what if TLG introduced a new Reddish Orange color for 2024 specifically to match a specific car manufacturer paint color? Maybe next year's 1:8 Technic hypercar will be a McLaren 750S or Artura.

November 15, 20231 yr 2024's Super Mario sets have been revealed on Brickset. Hopefully Technic isn't much further behind.
