These (like the City ones we'd seen glimpses of) seem to use the new reddish orange a lot!

42169 has new, slimmer curved trapezoid panels, they seem to go from 1 to 3 studs width.

Also, love the gray tyres on the mars rover!

Those space sets are so refreshingly different! Also the Orrery is quintessential technic. 

I love all of these sets! I can't wait to build them. Is this the first time they've made non-black tires?

Edit: I recall some homemaker era sets having gray tires. That's the only exception I can think of.

The Spongebob bus set had white tires. I think there might be a couple more isolated examples but they're not coming to mind.

They're finally here!

The space sets are unique at least, but not realistic enough for my taste. I'll tolerate them for about a year, but I hope they don't last longer than that.

The Orrery, however, is an interesting and worthwhile model, I think! Maybe Lego will make my day and hide a 32T gear in there somewhere, but even if they don't use this opportunity to introduce one (as I strongly doubt they will), it's a cool, gear-heavy model!

The McLaren is uninteresting, but whatever.

The Kawasaki is probably my favorite set from the wave, but my big question is, can we tell if it's using Yamaha gearbox parts for its 2-speed?

I think it means a modular connection system between 2 loose objects. At first glance, the holographic orange piece with the 4 technic holes is the new modular connector introduced with the space station set last year?

I was pleasantly surprised by the space sets. Finally, Lego using their imagination to offer something new. They remind me of good old 90s Lego Technic sets, that's how starved we were for original ideas. All of these look quite promising, I'll be waiting on the first videos to see their functionality.

However, it is truly sad that they do not offer B-models yet again, even in original, non licensed sets. Still a dealbreaker for me.

Seconded. The new space sets is an easy pass for me, but I would definitely grab one as a gift for a 6 year old. 

Just seen the technic space sets on Instagram and I like it. Good to see a collection of models as a theme.

I like the look of the dropship more than the other 2. I also like the use of “LT” (assume Lego Technic) instead of “L” for the vehicle codes.

So do we think only the “container” on the drop ship connects to the small surface loader.

the one thing I can’t see is if the classic space logo is actually on the models and not just on the boxes.

2024 is going to be expensive!

I love them! And what I like most is that TLG is finally releasing what seems to be a “series”. Just like the arctic sets back in the days. Hope there will be more to come. I’m in

Also 9748 Droid Developer Kit had Light Gray 30x10.5 Offset Treat Technic Tires. And don't forget the RC Racers that had huge tires in Lime, Blue or Red.

LEGO nailed it with the new space sets, not realistic but how much i missed these kinds of builds, it’s like we are back to 2016 again. Except the prices.

I'm over the Moon with these space sets! They bringing back the Mars Mission vibes quite strongly. Also, having other colored tires than black mean we might get printing on tires in the distant future..?

No chance. They won't wash the tires before printing to make the print adhere properly. Changing color is no big deal, just add some pigments to the mix.

Very refreshing to see the space sets! I think they look awesome. Sure the functions might not be to dissimilar to similar earth based models but  at least their not licensed space sports cars 😄

About the space line I hope(d) we would see a worthy successor to the 8480, after all it ain't space without the space shuttle.
