Brian tfft Posted July 3, 2024 Posted July 3, 2024 Hello, seen on Instagram. Fake or Real ? https://www.instagram.com/p/C8879zxJAbD/?igsh=NW1rYTM3cGtiN21l Quote
Zerobricks Posted July 3, 2024 Posted July 3, 2024 Given the wheel size and proportions, I'd say real. All other brands seem to use the older, smaller 81,6 mm tyre size with smaller wheels. Quote

I think real, but this looks a lot like Bruno Jenson's Hypercar MOC to me (on second glance maybe just some of the vehicle, I'm definitely tripping). Maybe just a coincidence, although this still looks pretty good. 17/7/24: Just realized it obviously looks the same since it's the same car Edited July 17, 2024 by PlopiNinetySix Correction of a correction Quote
StudWorks Posted July 3, 2024 Posted July 3, 2024 The shaping (specifically the front) just looks... bad. Compare the leaked picture with the CaDa Assassin. The CaDa "P1" may be smaller but just looks so much more official. Quote

You’re comparing an extremely low resolution and compressed image to a high resolution render. It looks stretched as well. It’s not exactly a mystery why the Cada version looks better. Agree In a way, and with all respect to the designer of the CaDa model, the lego model looks more neat with larger panels which I prefer personally. However I'm not sure about the gap between the panels which looks too big compared to the real model. Quote

The CaDA Assassin is a hodge-podge mess of angled connectors, and the rear fender is pretty much straight and doesn't capture the P1's form at all Edited July 6, 2024 by Bartybum Quote

StudWorks Posted July 6, 2024 Posted July 6, 2024 Ah, I see now. Let's just hope in the official reveal the front of the LEGO P1 looks better than it does in the leaked photos. Quote

NV Lego technic Posted July 7, 2024 Posted July 7, 2024 Maybe he meant that it looked so bad due to low photo quality. Quote
Zerobricks Posted July 7, 2024 Posted July 7, 2024 Few upcoming sets already have part lists available at Bricket, thought they are still missing new parts such as 13x3 frames, small curved panels, etc... Quote

I would love to but my todo list I alteady full of stuff I need to do. One of them is upgrading Eurobricks for example. And I was planning on doing another review but I can’t seem to find the time for that. So don’t get your hopes up. I’m sure there will be plenty of great reviews coming. But thanks for the comment :thumbup; Quote
Rebel_Lego Posted July 9, 2024 Posted July 9, 2024 That Mercedes looks very good! I also like the colour. It probably looks so good because the shape is so much easier to replicate in Lego than the less boxy cars Quote
PlopiNinetySix Posted July 9, 2024 Posted July 9, 2024 Looks nice! I've never seen this shade of orange in Lego before... It's such an appealing color tho. Quote
NV Lego technic Posted July 9, 2024 Posted July 9, 2024 It appeared in the beginning of this year in sets 42178, 42179, 42180 and 42181 Quote

MarkyMark42 Posted July 9, 2024 Posted July 9, 2024 The G wagon looks pretty awesome, it is a bit of a shame that it's a shade of orange though. Lego really have made the most of their shades of orange over the last few years. The only thing I don't like about it is I'll probably have to disassemble my Defender to make room for it Quote
