Now... why almost [if not all of] the entire line is tiny sets? Where are the big sets [if any are to be released this year]

This is the usual form each year, the first half has less exciting sets (more in number, less in pieces), and the second half includes the big ones.

Then you also have to collect the friends and creator 3-in-1 Sets, though ;). And very likely the Second CMF in 2024 too - and wouldn´t wonder if the Icons sets aswell ;)

I'm doomed. Don't do this to me. I'm a completionist, so this is gonna hurt.

Are these hypothetical sets or have I missed the announcements?! #askingforafriend

Oh my....I just found the Friends sets

Kitty (my wife) is asking whether there will be a modular Space set. Why didn't I think of that

Oh I see now, thx^

[I just realized that, considering that every year obviously has both the bigger sets and those, the smaller ones... should've thought of that earlier :head_back:]

Here is the creator 3-in-1 one: LEGO 31152 Space Astronaut

As for the modular space set you could say the modular space station is that one - just in the city theme lol.

Gotta say, I love the "Crossover" between Technic and City, releasing the same theme. I definitely feel the urge to collect them all and keep them as a separate collection.

TLG is basically releasing a classic space like theme, which I have been dreaming about for years. And on top of that, they are releasing some Technic sets to go along. I'm loving it.

I’m getting both the city and technic space themed sets, but then I love anything space related (but not the Friends stuff)

2024 is going to be expensive

I'm with you

I think this space sub-theme is a very positive development. It's very good to see something so different in technic. The sets seem very well thought out - hopefully they will sell well.

I never thought we would see something like the Orrery as an official set. It looks fantastic. Hopefully they will sell lots and science museums and such, besides the usual channels. Then perhaps we can hope for more similar things.

The Garbage Truck, which is really nice, has 500+ parts. The flagship car chassis model had 668 parts. Times have changed

Yes, but do not forget that we already have 14 sets + 1 Polybag, this can be said to be a standard set of sets of Techniques for the year! So I don't think they'll dump a few more sets in 2024)

I noticed something, maybe Cosmo TLG series won't be taken into account since. The article of the cosmo sets starts at 78, and the first half of the year of the usual technique ends at 71, we still have 6 unoccupied articles! Perhaps Lego has prepared a surprise-a dressing down) and will send out 6 more sets of ordinary equipment!)*oh2*

There will definetely be more (larger) sets in June/August wawes. 1:8 car, 1:10 car, Control+ set, pmeumatic set and 2000+ pieces flagship are highly expected.

Yep, all seems exciting!

@Jim have you seen 42605 the Mars Space Base and Rocket. It’s got the classic space logo and looks coherent with the City Space stuff … but no Friends sets for me.

I have been thinking about Friends. But I will most likely pass as well. Unless you really want to collect the series and keep them MISB, I don’t really feel like adding them to my collection. I do like the fact that TLG made this decision though. I might change my mind in the future, but for now…it’s a no for me.

That's seriously impressive! Not only does it have a worm gear mechanism for moving the arm, but it has a complete linked bogey suspension! I love the way they run that 6L link over the top, and have it trapped between those bars to make a pivot there!

It's also a good reminder that I was meaning to pick up one of those balls used as wheels to use in helicopter swashplates, as someone here demonstrated a while back.
