It seems that Technic fans HATE this year :/ ... hate space??? (no one is interested new technic space sets AND I DO NOT have a clue why is that).

I can only speak for myself. I'm not into space stuff and although I have a couple cars, they aren't my motivating force either. Give me tractors, trucks, construction equipment with at least 2000 parts and I'm a happy camper builder.

So I was right :/

This should be year to celebrate SPACE... those sets are something we might NEVER ever see again.

No, there"s plenty of excitement for the March sets. It just ain't March yet!

Speaking of myself, I will buy all the space sets, not only because they might be one-offs, but I like the functionality, novelty they bring to the theme. Actually, I had a yellow copper orrery which had to be sold, so this Technic version, although doesn't include all the planets the previous had, will definitely get its special place in my collection :)

Same here.

Same here. This year is disappointing for my taste, most likely no new sets will be purchased (but I am planning to push the trigger for 42042)

Technically, 42178 is a construction vehicle. The description even identifies it as such.

I'll repeat: I'm not into space stuff, no matter what they call it.

There is possibility to put MINIFIGURES inside these vehicles. MOC a bit and you can see it is almost 1:1 Minifig scale.

I really hope people like these BECAUSE we might get even more! Me for example, these will be my 1st Technic sets ever.

The new LEGO House exclusive Set pays tribute to 853 Auto Chassis amongst LEGOs 3 main product lines Duplo, System and Technic, with a microscale System model. Sadly only 3 basic Technic bricks are included. Hopefully, a proper re-release of this iconic set will be made later on as a larger Technic set.

I was a bit disappointed about the scale and the lack of Technic parts in the build, but still nice to see it, and at least I don't have the urge to get it :)

I really hope TLG makes a proper anniversary year for Technic in 2027, as other themes seem to get something special, not just that 1x3 printed beam...

Same, and in place of that attempt at modernizing an old set (Car Chassis 8860), I really wanna to see Lego trying something new, making a flagship set that will truly deserve to be called so.

well, they sort of did thought it was a little underwhelming, you could make a set out of 2 others sets:

Wow, I didn't even know that one existed. It is indeed underwhelming though.. (And it is actually built out of 3 sets..)

Yeah, it was pretty weak for an such important milestone.

My guess is also on a released hypercar lauched between 2023 and 2024: Artura, 750S or GTS.
Could also be the "older" Speedtail as it's the fastest McLaren car to date. And we know LEGO likes to make headlines...

The 3 models you mentioned just don't feel special enough to me
When you compare a 750S to the Bugatti, the Lambo or the Ferrari it feels like a step back.

If this potential new hypercar is released in April/May, there is a possibility it could be the Lego model too.

Otherwise the Solus GT, Speedtail or even Sabre could be potential options I think.

I agree. I'd rather see them release a P1 GTR instead then but that is not very likely. None of the newer Mclaren cars look exciting to me.
